Chapter 12- Kage

Houjun opened his eyes and smiled. Kami-sama, he's so sweet when he's sleeping. I wouldn't mind waking up to this each morning…

Genrou yawned and sleepily opened his eyes.

"Ohayo Gen-chan," Houjun said softly. Genrou smiled softly.

"'Gen-chan?'" Genrou asked. Houjun blushed.

"I'm sorry. I- Um.. Uh.... Mmmph!" Houjun said as Genrou kissed him.

Slowly, Houjun tightened his arms around Genrou. He sighed when Genrou pulled away.

"I like when you call me that," Genrou said smirking. Houjun blushed and turned his eyes away.

"We should probably get up soon… Gen-chan," Houjun said softly.

"But I'm comfy right here," Genrou protested pouting. Houjun laughed.

"Too bad, come on, let's go," Houjun said, and tried to get up, however Genrou held onto him.

"Gen-chan!" Houjun said as he was thrown back onto the bed.

Genrou rolled on top of the older man and laid his head down on Houjun's chest.

"Please, just a little while. It's taken two lives you be with you, I don't wanna loose this moment yet," Genrou whispered.

"Genrou… Hai, a little longer won't hurt," Houjun whispered and kissed the top Genrou's head. "But we do have to decide if we're staying or not."

"I wanna stay. I wanna help everyone else out, besides, we can spend months here and it'll only be a few hours in our world, remember?" Genrou asked.

"Hai, but when we get back, I… I'm supposed to go to Siberia in a week, to study further… I'll be there for 3 years…" Houjun said, wincing inside at the words.

"What?!?" Genrou demanded and pushed off of Houjun's chest to look him in the eyes.

"I-I didn't think this could happen. I wanted to go to get away from Hikou and Kouran marrying… Oh Kami, Genrou, I'm sorry…" Houjun whispered.

"Aw, fuck, Houjun, don't worry. It's ok. We'll figure something out," Genrou whispered and softly kissed Houjun's tears. "Taka and Miaka figured it out, ne?"

Houjun smiled a little and held Genrou tightly. His only fear right now was leaving Genrou, now that they had each other.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Houjun-san, Genrou-san, please wake up. I need to know your decision," Myst said quietly through the door.

Genrou muttered several curses and got up. Houjun laughed and followed his love. They opened the door and saw a smiling girl, that was definitely not Myst.

"Who are you?" Houjun asked.

The girl's smile turned sad.

"No one, soon," she said and threw two ki blasts at the unsuspecting seishi.

"Finally, I'll change my destiny," the girl said.

"Kage! Stop it!" Myst called.

"Leave me alone, sister," she said venomously. She clasped her hands together and she and the two men disappeared in a dark flash.

"No!" Myst whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Please Suzaku, protect them."
