Chapter 16- Comfort

Genrou sighed and continued his pacing. Houjun blinked. He was beginning to get dizzy.

"Ne, Gen-chan, would you mind sitting? You're making me dizzy," Houjun asked.

"Damnit, Houjun, there's gotta be a fucking way outta here!" Genrou shouted, exasperated.

Houjun got up and hugged Genrou. He whispered in his love's ear.

"Just calm down, we're not going anywhere if we can't figure out a plan."

Genrou sighed and relaxed in Houjun's arms.

"Damnit Houjun, I just wanna go home. I don't wanna be chasing bad guys anymore. Here I am, in your arms, like I've always wanted, trapped in some palace room by some crazy woman," Genrou sat down on the edge of the bed and sighed. "God I fucking hate women! They're nutcases!"

"Genrou… At least we're here. Together. We'll get through this, we always do," Houjun said and lifted Genrou's face to look into his eyes. What he saw shocked him. Two tears slid down Genrou's face.

"Houjun…" Genrou whimpered, begging for comfort.

Houjun gently kissed Genrou's tears and held him softly in his arms.

"After this is over, we'll be able to live in peace. I'll make sure of that," Houjun promised.

Genrou leaned up and kissed Houjun passionately. He wrapped his arms around Houjun and pushed the other man back onto the bed. Houjun's eyes looked up in shock. He broke the kiss quickly.

"G-Gen-chan?" He stammered.

"Shhh... Houjun… Please… I just want to be close to you," Genrou caressed Houjun's face softly with his hand.

"Genrou… Hai… Aishiteru, Genrou," Houjun whispered.

"Aishiteru, Houjun," Genrou said and kissed Houjun again.

Kouji blinked.

And blinked again.

"Damn… Didn't think Genrou would move that quick! Well, not really… They had one life already… they're finally together… Course, I ain't much better. I can't even find a damn girlfriend, and here's my brother getting it on in some ancient book! Oi, not fair!" Kouiji complained and sighed. He turned the page, and continued to read.
