Chapter 15- Revelations

AN: Thanks again for all the reviews! They mean a lot! Sorry this was so late to come out, and I know I promised more updates during the week. I'm gonna be nice though, and add two chapters. Warning, this chapter might get a little bit confusing, cause it jumps scenes a lot. Well, hope you like! Please R&R! Arigatou!

Tasuki groaned as he opened his eyes.

"Fuck," he muttered when the light attacked his already aching head.

"Easy, Gen-chan," Houjun said softly.

"What the hell happened?" Tasuki tried to sit up, but fell back onto the bed.

Houjun gently pushed Genrou's bangs back.

"I'm not sure," Houjun said softly.

"I apologize for kidnapping you like that, but it was necessary. I can't allow you to try to stop me," a girl's voice surrounded the two men.

"You're Kage, aren't you?" Houjun asked.

"What the fuck do ya mean? You're crazy! Why the hell would you wanna re-write the book! You're just gonna screw us all over," Genrou screamed at the voice.

"I know it may seem like that, but I'm taking so long because I'm trying to re-write the book so that it won't interfere too greatly. I'm not trying to hurt anyone, though. I confess, it is for my own personal reasons I am doing this," Kage sighed. "You'll be returned to your world after this, but I'll leave your memories if you wish. Please forgive me, I did not want to have to do this."

"Please, just tell us why," Houjun asked.

His only reply was a soft sob and the sound of footsteps running away.

******Kage's Room*******

Kage sobbed onto her pillow.

"Why is this taking so long. I don't want to interfere with anyone else's life. I just… All I want is the peace Tokiko was finally granted. I just want to change my own destiny…" the sad girl whispered to the wind.

*******Library*******

Kouji sighed.

"Poor girl, she don't sound all that bad. I wish I could cheer 'er up," Kouji grinned evilly. "If she's pretty, I'm sure I could think of a couple ways... And at least, she ain't gonna hurt my friends. Ah, I always knew Genrou was gay. Bout time he hooked up with Houjun."

Kouji laughed cheerfully before reading more.

"Still… I wish I knew why that girl was trying to change her destiny… Being a goddess couldn't be all that bad, right?"

*******Dream*******

Nuriko/Ryuuin blinked.

"Where am I?" Ryuuin asked.

"You're dreaming, my Seishi," a deep voice answered.

"S-Suzaku?" Ryuuin asked.

"Hai. When you died, you gave your bracelet's to my priestess. Therefore, I cannot return them to you like I have with the others. But, instead, I offer you these instead," Suzaku held out his hands.

Ryuuin approached the god, and looked at the object in his hands. Ryuuin cautiously took the gloves and put theme on

"Thank you," Ryuuin said.

"You're welcome. Now, wake, my seishi, Nuriko," Suzaku faded away.

*******Ryuuin's Room*******

Ryuuin opened his eyes and saw Sahitei looking down at him.

"Sahitei?" Ryuuin asked.

"I'm sorry, but, I came by your room to see if your bracelets had appeared for you, like my sword just had, and I saw a red glow come from your room. What happened?" Sahitei asked, sitting on the edge of Ryuuin's bed.

Ryuuin sat up, and looked down and saw he was wearing the gloves the Phoenix God gave him. Sahitei gasped.

"Suzaku came to me in a dream, and gave me this, because Miaka has my bracelets. Pretty cool, ne?" Ryuuin asked, grinning.

"Hai, so, we've gotten our memories, and Suzaku has returned to us our weapons. I suppose we can save Chichiri and Tasuki soon. But, we should probably have breakfast first, ne?" Sahitei asked.

"Hai…" Ryuuin breathed, realizing how close to Sahitei he was.

Sahitei smiled softly and brought his hand to Ryuuin's cheek. Ryuuin sighed and closed his eyes. As Sahitei leaned closer to him, a knock caused the two to separate.

Ryuuin sighed in frustration as Sahitei went to the door.

"Ryuuin, I can't find Sa- Oh! There you are," Myst said, looking at the reborn Seishi.

"Yes?" Sahitei asked.

"I'm sorry, I wanted to know when you'd be ready to begin your journey," Myst said softly.

"We'll be ready in a little while. We'll come to the main room when we're ready to leave," Sahitei said softly. Myst took the hint and nodded and left quickly.

"Is it me, or is the world against us?" Ryuuin asked sighing, and laying back on his bed.

Sahitei laughed, and looked at the beautiful man laying on the bed. He forced his mind to stop thinking that.

"I'd better let you get ready…" Sahitei said softly and walked towards the door.

"Wait, um…" Ryuuin asked as he now sat on the edge of the bed, grinning.

Sahitei blinked and looked up into Ryuuin's eyes. The other man grinned mischievously.

Sahitei wrapped his arms around Ryuuin as he leaned down and kissed him lightly on the lips.

"Now we can go," Ryuuin said, smiling. Sahitei smiled back and offered Ryuuin a hand.

Without another word, the two walked out of the room to meet Myst.
