Houjun walked up the steps of the house and rang the doorbell. He smiled, but inwardly he cringed. He didn't want to do this, but he knew he had to. His sensei had explained to him it's vital to teach in order to learn. Houjun thought for a brief second that maybe he'd rather not learn.

The door opened and the red-haired boy stood there. Houjun blinked in surprise, then recovered in an instant.

"Hello, my name is Houjun, is this the Hizoku residence?" he asked politely.

"Yeah, this is the place," the boy said recovering from the shock.

So, he does feel it too, then, Houjun thought curiously.

"Come in, come in, just ignore gay-boy. He gets weird sometimes," a blue haired boy said.

"Shut up Kouji! It's cause of you and those damn jokes that we're suspended!" the other boy said.

"My fault, you were the one that tackled me Genrou!" Kouji defended.

Houjun cleared his throat loudly and leveled a glare at the two boys.

"I'm assuming you two are the ones I was hired to tutor," he said calmly.

"Yeah, I'm Genrou, he's Kouji," the red-haired boy said.

Genrou, why is that name so familiar? Houjun asked himself. He kept his thoughts carefully hidden as he studied the two boys.

"Shall we get down to business then?" Houjun asked.

"Yeah, come on," Kouji said and led him upstairs to the boys' room.

Houjun sat down calmly at the desk and looked between the two.

"Any preference of subject?" Houjun asked.

"Anime," Genrou replied.

"Sports," Kouji said.

Houjun sighed inside.

"Ok, history it is," He said and grabbed the history textbook.

The two boys groaned.

"Let's see… In the Meiji Era…" Houjun began.

This is gonna be a long afternoon, Houjun thought sadly. Oh well, only three weeks of this.

"God, that was boring as hell," Kouji said, dropping onto his bed. He looked around the boy's room. His wall plastered with posters of beautiful woman barely dressed, and sports superstars. He glanced at Genrou's side filled with game posters and music stars.

"Yeah, this sucks. We have to deal with that boring ass guy for three weeks!" Genrou complained, from his video game. He was playing Final Fantasy 7 for the 9th or 10th time this month. Kouji gave up on trying to get him to play something else two weeks ago.

"I thought you'd be happy to have your dream lover tutor you," Kouji said with an evil grin.

"Shut the hell up Kouji," Genrou growled.

"Yo, listen for a sec, Genrou," Kouji said seriously. Genrou raised an eyebrow and paused the game.

"What's up?" Genrou asked, sitting on his bed looking at his brother.

"Look, I wasn't kidding about that dream. I saw you get hit by a sword while protecting this blue-haired dude, and you were dying in his arms, and you were talking, and then he said something, you screamed at him then he kissed you. Then he got killed. And you both were dead before I could get there to do anything," Kouji said seriously. "And you looked like some kind of bandit outta China, and he was some kinda monk or somethin' and that tutor looked just like the guy you were trying ta protect."

"You serious?" Genrou asked shocked.

"'Course I am, I'm assuming that's the guy you saw this morning too," Kouji said.

"Yeah, that's freaky. I wonder if he gets the same dream," Genrou said thoughtfully.

"Well, why don'tcha ask him? He's gonna be here plenty," Kouji reminded him.

"Yeah, what the fuck am I supposed to say? Hey, mister tight-ass monk, I was having this weird dream about dying in your arms, you have that too?" Genrou demanded sarcastically.

Kouji laughed so hard he fell on the bed.

"I'd give ya fifty bucks to say that!" Kouji said while laughing.

"Like hell," Genrou said.

"You just want him to like ya, Gen-chan," Kouji said grinning evilly.

"You're gonna regret that…" Genrou said and tackled his brother. The two wrestled, laughing.

"Hey, we'll always be pals, right Kouji?" Genrou asked smiling.

"Course Gen-chan, best buds forever," Kouji said smiling. Genrou hugged him tightly, then went over to his bed and curled up.

"G-Night, Kouji," Genrou said through a yawn and shut off the computer and went to sleep.

"G-Night, Gen-chan," Kouji said and sighed. Just don't die on me again buddy, Kouji thought sadly and fell asleep.
