"3, 2, 1…" Kouji said, as Genrou burst into the classroom right as the bell rang and sighed in relief, and took his seat next to Kouji.

"Close call, ne, nii-chan?" Kouji said as Genrou sat down.

"Che, at least I'm not late," Genrou said.

"By not even a second. Why can't you get up sooner, Genrou?" Kouji asked.

"Kouji, Genrou, quiet, class has started," the sensei said annoyed.

"Sorry," the two said in unison.

Houjun walked back to the temple in quiet reverie, thinking about the teenage boy who ran into him earlier.

The monk seeing Houjun in the distance frowned in thought. He must still be thinking about that dream. I wonder what it means.

"Houjun," the monk said when he entered the temple.

"Hai, sensei?" Houjun asked, focusing completely on his mentor, and forcing all thoughts of the boy out of his mind.

"You seemed distracted walking back here, is something about that dream bothering you?" he asked concerned for his student.

"Hai, earlier today, a boy ran into me, quite literally, who looked exactly like the one from my dream. Even sounded the same. It was quite strange," Houjun said.

"My… Maybe your dream speaks of something more then you realize, Houjun," the monk said.

"Such as?" Houjun asked.

"Perhaps you dream about the past. Maybe you knew this boy in a past life, and were both reborn at the same time," the monk said.

Houjun considered this.

"It does seem to make sense, but he would have felt something too, and I couldn't quite tell if he could or not," Houjun said.

"Perhaps you should speak to him if you get the chance to see him again, which I believe you probably will," the monk said.

That doesn't explain the red light I saw flash when I saw him… Houjun thought to himself.

"Oh, by the way, you were hired to help tutor two brothers from a local high school. Apparently, they seem to get into a lot of trouble, and the school and parents think that someone calm and focused in their lives would allow them to straighten their lives out. It will only be until your journey to Tibet," the monk explained.

Houjun nodded. "I don't know how much of a help I can be, but I'll try.

"I think you'll be more of a help then you realize, and I know you'll do fine whatever the case may be," the monk said and left.

Joy, I get to deal with a bunch of delinquent teenagers in a test of patience, Houjun thought sarcastically.

Genrou and Kouji sat next to each other eating their lunches.

"So, what do you think our tutor will be like? I heard mom say something about him being a monk in training or something like that," Kouji said.

"What the fuck? We're getting a tutor?" Genrou demanded. Kouji laughed.

"You didn't hear a word mom said last night, did you?" Kouji asked.

"Do I ever pay attention to her?" Genrou asked, glaring at Kouji.

"Hell no, so I guess you know now," Kouji said, grinning. "She was also saying something about it being cause we can't stay outta trouble, but I wasn't paying too much attention either."

"Joy, wonder how long it'll take to scare him away," Genrou said grinning evilly.

"Not long, Gen-chan, not long at all," Kouji said already plotting evil thoughts.

"Oh, hey, you remember that dream I told ya about?" Genrou asked.

"Yeah, why?" Kouji asked, surprised.

"I saw the fucking guy this morning. I ran into him on my way to school. It was the same guy in my dreams!" Genrou said.

"Holy shit, you serious man?" Kouji asked.

"Yeah, it was freaky as hell," Genrou said.

"So when's the wedding?" Kouji asked.

Genrou nearly choked on his food.

"What the fuck you talking about, Kouji?!?" Genrou demanded.

"Oh come on, you just told me you met the man of your dreams, when ya getting hitched?" Kouji asked teasingly.

"Oh, you're so dead now," Genrou said and launched at his brother. It took four teachers to tear them apart.
