Ch. 3 Fights from Hell
About 15 minutes later, Juana came back into the room. She was wearing overalls with no shirt under it. Again, all the guys blushed a deep red.
"Juana, please put a shirt on with those," Voku said in an exasperated voice. Sakura looked at her daughter and cried harder.
"No! How the hell did you guys get here?!" Juana screamed at her father loud enough to be heard outside.
"We don't know. One minute we were eating, then we were surrounded by a red light, and then we were outside this room. Where are we anyway?" Voku asked.
"We are at my palace in Konan." Hotohori said in his emperor voice.
Sakura finally stopped crying and looked around at everyone. "Who are you freaks and what are you doing with my baby?" Sakura managed to say through ragged breath.
"Sakura, these freaks are my friends, whether you like it or not, so why don't you guys just go fuck off!" Juana screamed.
"Juana, you shouldn't say that to your parents," Miaka exclaimed. "They're your parents and..."
Juana smacked Miaka as hard as she could, knocking her to the floor. "You fuck off too, you little bitch. Don't you dare tell me how to talk to my parents."
Miaka's eyes swelled up and she started to cry. Tomahome rushed to her side, the character on his forehead glowing. Without warning, Tomahome attacked Juana.
'Oh goody, more fun,' Juana thought as she smiled cruelly. Her nails grew a foot long. When Tomahome got close, Juana slashed at him, just barely missing. Tasuki joined in, attempting to break them apart, but Juana scratched him on his cheek.
"Damn it! She gored my eye out. She gored my fuckin eye out," Tasuki screamed, exaggerating.
Tomahome and Juana were still going at it. Sakura had long since fainted on the floor, with Voku trying to wake her up. Tomahome had deep scratches all over him, and Juana had a few bruises. Juana pinned down Tomahome and pulled back her arms, ready to strike. Chichiri cast a spell on her, trying to hold her down. It lasted long enough for Tomahome to get free.
When Juana was free, she looked around her and jumped out the window, landing on her feet. Tasuki jumped from the window and chased after her.

Juana ran on until she couldn't run anymore. She collapsed in the midst of a forest. There she fainted.
A while later she woke up to see Tasuki lying next to her. Juana screamed and jumped up. Tasuki woke up and looked around, eyes wide,
"What! What's going on? Are we being attacked?" Tasuki said in a frantic voice.
"No, we're not being attacked! What the hell are you doing here?"
"What do you think. I followed you."
"Why did you follow me?" Juana asked, confused.
"Don't know. Maybe I just felt like it. Anyway, we'd better get back. The others will be worrying about us. Your name's Juana, right."
"Yeah. But we can't leave."
"Why not? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. But look around you, stupid." Juana took some leaves and sticks and tried to make a fire. "It's dark. If we try to leave, we'll just get lost. We'll go in the morning." She was still trying to start a fire, but without success.
"NO! We're leaving now!"
"Do you have any idea how to get out of here, genius?" Juana started to raise her voice. Tasuki didn't say anything. "I thought not. Why don't you just sit down and shut up!"
Tasuki sat down next to Juana and took the sticks from her hands. "I've never met a bandit who couldn't start a fire." Tasuki sighed. "Fine, we'll stay here, but only if you can find us something to eat."
"Yeah, sure! Whatever." Juana went off into the forest.
"Hey! I didn't actually mean it!" Tasuki raced after her.

Myka was walking in a long hallway when she heard a yelp behind her. She whirled around to see a puppy coming towards her. When he was close enough, Myka scooped him up into her arms. Myka inspected the puppy. He was all brown with white spots on his left eye, left ear, and back. He had huge violet eyes.
"Hey there, cutie! Where'd you come from? You're so skinny! Let's go get you some food, okay!" Myka said in a happy voice.
"Bark! Bark!" The dog yipped in pleasure. They went off into the dining hall, with the puppy in Myka's arms.

"Must you follow me everywhere like a little dog?" Juana muttered as Tasuki stumbled over a pile of brush. "Why are you following me anyway?"
"Maybe I just feel like it. Why do you care?" Tasuki yelled at Juana.
"I don't enjoy having people following me, especially after the told me to leave. Why don't you just leave me alone?" Juana told Tasuki in an irritated voice.
Tasuki grabbed her arm and spun her around. "I have my reasons for following you."
"And what might those reasons be, oh smart person." Juana taunted.
Tasuki kissed Juana hard on the mouth. "Dammit Juana, my reasons are my own. I don't have to tell you anything." Tasuki gasped, out of breath. Juana stared at him in shock. Tasuki sat on the floor and quickly made a fire. Then he laid down. "Go to sleep. We're not far from the palace. We'll go back first thing tomorrow morning." Tasuki closed his eyes and fell asleep. Juana sat there and stared at the fire, thinking.

Myka placed a bowl of water and a plate with some leftover meat on the floor. "There you go little guy! Eat as much as you want!" The dog lapped up the water gratefully. "Now, what should I name you?" The dog looked up at her. "How about Yoshi? Do you like that, boy?" The dog barked happily. Myka laughed. "Okay! Yoshi it is. Go ahead and finish eating."
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT MUTT DOING IN MY PALACE!" screamed a voice from behind them.
Myka spun around, facing Hotohori. "He is not a mutt. He's a little puppy." Myka said in a cold, hard voice.
"I don't care what it is! I want it out of here!" Hotohori exclaimed.
"If Yoshi goes, than so do I!" Myka yelled back at him.
"Fine! Go! Just take that mutt with you!" Hotohori screamed.
Myka picked up Yoshi and ran out of the room, crying. Hotohori just stared after her, astonished that she'd actually leave.
Myka ran into her room. She found a bag and threw her sweater and another of Juana's kimonos into it. She picked up Yoshi and rushed out of her room. In the hallway she ran past Hotohori. To his dismay, she was still crying. Myka ran out of the palace and ran into the forest.

2 hours later. Myka found herself lost. It was dark and getting cold. She and Yoshi sat down. Yoshi fell asleep instantly. Myka smiled as she put her sweater over him, then she grabbed some sticks and made a fire. She went to a nearby stream, caught four fish, and cooked them. When the fish were done, she woke up Yoshi and the ate two fish each. Afterwards, they fell asleep in front of the fire.

"Chichiri, have you seen Myka anywhere?" Hotohori asked, worried.
"No, Majesty. I haven't seen her since this morning, No Da," Chichiri said in his usual happy tone.
"Thank you." Hotohori said quietly. He walked away from Chichiri, thinking. 'Where could she be? Did she actually leave? I hope she's alright. Stupid mutt. She would be here if not for you.'
"You should go find her your Majesty, No Da."
Hotohori looked up. "Chichiri... How did you...? Never mind." Hotohori ran into his room, his hair falling out of it's hat. He quickly changed, grabbed his sword, and ran outside. He looked around, then ran into the forest in search of Myka.

An hour later, Hotohori saw a small fire in the distance. He walked up to it and saw a small dog and...
"Myka!" Hotohori whispered. He knelt down next to her to see if she was okay.
Myka's eyes fluttered open. She sat up and rubbed her eyes sleepily. "Hotohori. What are you doing here?"
Hotohori brought her into a hug. I came to find you." he whispered into her ear. He let her go slowly and looked at her. "Are you okay?"
"Yep!" Myka was now fully awake. "Why did you come to find me?" She asked him carefully.
"I was worried." Hotohori took her hands in his and looked at her intently. "Please come back."
Myka looked at Yoshi. "What about Yoshi?" she asked in a small voice.
"He can come as well. I promise I will not say anything about him. Please just come back."
"Well, okay. So long as Yoshi comes." Myka and Hotohori stood up "I guess we should leave now."
"No. It would not be wise. We will leave in the morning. We all need some rest."
Hotohori and Myka smiled at each other. Hotohori took a step towards Myka and looked into her violet eyes. Slowly, Hotohori leaned down and eased his mouth over Myka's. He put his arms around her waist as she put hers around his neck. Hotohori pulled Myka closer to him. Myka, slightly shocked, gasped and tried to pull away, but Hotohori kept his hold on her. . Myka gave up and relaxed against him. Reluctantly, they separated a few minutes later.
