"Tasuki, where do we stand?" Takara said testing the hot water with her toe. She was beginning to question whether or not Tasuki wanted her for love or lust. She was praying it was love, but in the back of her mind it kept saying lust. Finanly she entered the bathtub that seemed to be fit for about four, sitting directly across from Tasuki. The water was very hot and steamy and she wondered how Tasuki can get adapted to the water so quickly. Studying Tasuki's figure, she could see he was flushed red from head to toe.
"What do you mean," Tasuki asked. He knew what she meant but he wasn't prepared to answer the question.
"I mean, are we in a relationship, or what?" Takara said seriously.
"Um, I don't really know," Tasuki said. He moved until he was half way on top of Takara. He began to gently pry open her legs, but Takara shut them closed again.
"What do you mean you don't know? Do you love me or not?" Takara said crossing her arms. She began to feel an unsettling feeling at the pit of her stomache.
"Love you?" Tasuki said. He didn't understand why the girl was acting so weird all of a sudden. Sure they had sex, but he still hardly knew her. That's why Tasuki didn't like girls. They always are getting attached so damn easily. Or at least they make you think they are getting attached. Fill your head with so many lies. Telling me their your first and only love, will never leave you, and promises to stay faithful. But next time you turn your back their up screwing somebody else, like what you ever were was never a damn thing, and Tasuki was not about to let that happen to him twice.
Well Tasuki finally was out of his trance of thought, he looked up to see a girl's eyes that read, shock, confusion, but most of all hurt. He never knew something as small as eyes can say so much.
"I'm sorry Takara, I just can't love right now," Tasuki said. He reached out to touch her tearstained cheek, but Takara quickly slapped away.
"So I guess I was just a good fuck?" Takara whispered.
"No it's not like that," Tasuki said.
"Then what is like?" Takara said. She got up and reached for a near by towel to wrap around herself. She shivered at the sudden change of temperature.
"I don't know. Why are there so many damn questions all of a sudden? You're freakin' me out with all this talk about love," Tasuki almost yelled out.
"Well Tasuki I'm sorry that I don't understand that I gave me my innocence to a stupid, low life bandit who can't love no one because he's so wrapped up in loving his self and is scared of getting heart," Takara said. She put on her once discarded clothes for the second time that day.
"And where the hell do ya think your goin'," Tasuki said getting up to get a towel as well.
"Anywhere besides this shithole," Takara said.
With a twist of the heel she was out the door. Her heel clanked the hard marble floor making head turns of nearby bandit. Takara didn't care she was determined to get out of here as soon as possible. She didn't care about what Tasuki said about the woods being dangerous. If it was so dangerous I didn't anyone come out to get her when Tasuki found her? Hot-warm tear began falling out her brown orbs when she finally hit the fresh air. Even though it was only about two days, it felt like forever since she felt the warm breeze against her face. Maybe because it is winter where we're at, Takara thought. She wiped here tears again, and with a not a moment wasted of hesitation she began to venture out into the woods.

"Kouji, I need to talk to you," Kalena whispered into the ear of the blue-haired bandit. It seemed like it had taken her forever to look for the man. Tasuki wasn't joking about bandits and their lunch, which made Kalena so uncomfortable with so many bandits there eyeing her immensely. It couldn't help that half of them were drunk. She was surprised not one of her made a pass at her yet. Kouji must of told them to lay off, Kalena thought.
"It didn't seem like that and an hour ago," Kouji grinned.
"Shut up," Takara said blushing.
"Go back to my room and I'll meet ya there in about fifteen minutes," Kouji whispered back into her ear.
"No way am I going back over there with all those bandits staring at me alone," Takara said a little too loud. A couple of heads turned to the even redder girl.
"I'll wait for you here because I suppose I'm a bit hungry," Kalena whispered. She helped herself to a chair across from Kouji who was chuckling
"Great we're having sake rice, and sake dumplings, and don't forget sake refreshers," Kouji said with a grin.
"Uh is there anything you have with out sake?" Kalena asked.
"Nope," Kouji said.
"Well can I ask the chef to make me something without sake?" Kalena asked.
"Nope," Kouji replied.
"Well can I-." Kalena began.
"Nope," Kouji said jokingly cutting her off.
"You didn't even let me ask the question," Kalena said.
"Well the answer is no anyway," Kouji said playfully.
"Oh even though I was gonna ask you if I can kiss you, you would of said no?" Kalena challenged. She cocked her eyebrow up. The question took Kouji aback. He dropped the chopsticks in his hand to put his full attention at the young girl in front of him. Studying her figure, she looked at little unsure of herself, as if she was a little scared of the question she just asked him.
"You wouldn't kiss me if I paid ya," was his reply.
"Bullshit, I kissed you back at the dish room," Kalena said.
"Yea, but that was just out the heat of the moment, and not in front of these many people-these many bandits- these many drunk bandit," Kouji said manner-of-factly.
With that Kalena took a sip of his sake, stood up on her feet. She reached across the table and pulled Kouji face to hers and kissed him real long and hard. Once again Kouji was taken aback, but wasn't not going to savor this moment. He slipped a tongue into her warm mouth. Realizing Koji's intentions, she deepened the kiss slipping her tongue in to his. Kalena tasted the strong sake in his mouth. Even though she didn't normally drink alcohol, she found herself enjoying the flavor of sake in his mouth. When the finally parted from the kiss because of their aching backs of being hunched over, the whole cafeteria roared in applauses, hoots, and praises for Kouji. Suddenly, Kalena didn't feel as brave as she did a moment ago and sat down looking at twirling her thumbs, trying to avoid eye contact with her now audience. Feeling a slight warm pressure on shoulder, Kalena looked up to see Kouji staring down at her.
"Now," he said smiling, "It's time to talk."
Kalena didn't waste one second. She got up and followed Kouji to his room, but not before met with more praises. It wasn't until the soft plush bed of Kouji's met Kalena's head when Kalena felt privacy.
Kouji- I," Kalena began.
"Ssh- don't say a word," Kouji whispered putting a finger at her lips to quiet her. He removed her finger to replace it with a kiss. Still kissing, Kalena pushing Kouji down on the bed with her. Kouji extended an arm her flipping them so she was on top. Kalena moaned licking her lips from the passionate kiss they had just shared.
"Kalena!" Tasuki said interrupting them for the second time in an hour, "I can't find her!"
"Who?!" Kalena said. She had a feeling she already knew the answer.
"Takara! I looked everywhere," Tasuki said frantically.
"Calm down Genrou, how long has she been gone," Kouji said getting up from the bed.
"About fifteen minutes," Tasuki said.
"Then she hasn't have gone far," Kouji replied.
"But how did you lose her if you were with her the whole time?" Takara said.
"I don't know all of a sudden she started asking me all the dumb questions about love, then got pissed then ran off," Tasuki blurted out.
"Genrou we got to go find cuz ya know how treacherous the woods are. We'll go by horses. Lena you can stay," Kouji said.
"No that is my best friend, hell no will I just sit on my ass while she my be out there in danger," Kalena said.
"Kalena you're staying here," Kouji demanded.
"Kouji I'm going," she insisted.
"Kalena I know we hardly know each other, but I don't know I'll do if I would lose you," Kouji said lowering his tone.
"Kouji I feel the same way, but I still want to be there," Lena replied.
"I didn't want to have to do this but…I'm so sorry" Kouji said. He went to his drawer and took out a long pair of handcuffs, before Lena could say anything, he put one on her hand and one on the rail of the bed, very fast it was as if he was a master in handcuffing.
"Kouji?!" was all Lena could say before he and his friend dashed out the door, Kouji locking it behind them. It hurt so much for Kouji to do that and he didn't want to see the look on her face after she really realized what he was doing. Closing his eyes and running at the same time, he silently prayed Lena would forgive him. He earnestly wish he could have taken her with him, but he didn't know if he will even forgive his own self if she did get hurt, and he was sure Takara wouldn't. Looking up, he saw Tasuki was already ahead of him and was about to hop on a horse. Shaking his head, he pondered how he could be best his best friend and understand everything about him with the exception of women. Searching around the horse shed, he looked for his fastest horse, Sandy.
"You get the east side of the woods, and I'll try to see if I can get around in the west," Tasuki said before galloping off.
After finding Sandy, Kouji saddled her up and then went into the direction he was told. It was a beautiful day, but Kouji had a feeling it wouldn't end so beautiful.

Takara stopped again at the sound of rustling trees. It was the third time she heard it. The sickening feeling at the pit of her stomach got worse. Closing her eyes she counted to three before proceeding.
"Are you sure that is the one," whispered a velvety voice coming in a direction in front of Takara.
"Well she's been around Tasuki a lot lately, so I guess she must mean something of a great deal to him," said another voice, however, very hoarse. Takara stopped dead in her tracks. She knew they were talking about her. Slowly she began to back up.
"But why is she out here, is this setup?" the velvety voice asked.
"No, I will never do that sir," the hoarse voice said. His voice appeared a little scared. Takara turned around and bolted in a different direction, but tripped over a twig. Trying not to lose her pace she got up and ran again, but bumped directly into something hard, very hard. Looking up, she saw it was a tall handsome man. Takara turned again, in the opposite direction, but she bumped into another man.
"You ain't going nowhere baby for a hot minute," the man with the velvety voice said. (an: for those of you that don't know a hot, minute is a slang term used for a long time). He clamped his hand hard down on Takara before she could utter a scream out.

Sweat glistened from Tasuki's face. He had been out there for a while but never the thought of giving up entered his head. He closed his eyes and tried to picture the whole scene that happened before she left.
"What do you mean you don't know? Do you love me or not?" Takara said crossing her arms. She began to feel an unsettling feeling at the pit of her stomache.
