~Ch. 2 The Black Cat meets the Red Dragon~
A streak of black hair flew behind a tree, piercing, hawk-like golden eyes glittering dangerously in
the dark. A knife glinted along with a spiked bracelet, a chain bracelet, a spiked purple belt, and
another chain, decorated with thorns, hang from a red chekered skirt. A white polo shirt helped set
off a loosly tied red tie. The black band that held up red streaked black hair was decorated with a
dragon, a blood red dragon. Suddenly a woosh of wind caused the girl to crouch in the shadows.
Waiting for 3 minutes she looked around her, searching for attackers, ï¬nding none she strode out
onto the sidewalk that ran in front of the spiked gates of Alice academy. Suddenly a shot rang out in
the air, with un-humanlike reaction the girl spun, but it didn't save her the bullet that struck her
squarly in the shoulder. Groaning the girl fell to her knees, trying to keep from blacking out as
blood seeped form the wound in merciless torents.
A boy in his teens jumped down from the tree, gun still pointed at the girl. His spiky hair was a
midnight black. There were earings in both ears, he wore long blue checkered pants, a black jacket
lined with blue, and a black cat mask, causing Mandy to blanch in frustration. "You....." she hissed.
That's when she blacked out, no longer able to control her mind's function. This caused her to fall in
an undignaï¬ed heap at Natsume Hyuuga's feat. Blinking Natsume almost shot himself, had he just
shot a human? Yes, he must of, only a human could suffer so. Picking her up in his arms he went to
take her to the hospital, the secuirity would never forgive him if she died. As he lept over the
gateway, he failed to notice the red dragon that curled around her hairband, showing that she was
his sworn enemy.
It wasn't until he laid her down in a hospital bed that he noticed the glinting hairtye. "a red
dragon...." he muttered then silently nodded. So his worst enemy had come to Alice Academy? The
quistion was, why? Natsume didn't have time to ï¬nd out, he had to rush out of the room as a nurse
came in, hopefully nothing unpleasant would happen. As Natsume jumped from tree to tree he
contemplated the golden eyes he'd seen. They unerved him, nay scared him. Those eyes reminded
him of the days before he met Mikan.........no, he wouldn't think about her, he would only endanger
her. He ï¬nally sat down under the shade of his favorite cherry tree and prepared to sleep...........that's
when the alarms all around the school went off in one go. There was the sound of an explosion,
girls screaming, boys shouting and teachers doing........the same thing as the other boys, shouting.
Grunting Natsume climbed a tree to see what was going on. What he saw made him freeze, a scared
childlike face crossed his features. He wasn't scared, he was terraï¬ed! Flames crackled around him,
mainly in the hospital. The girl! Suddenly panacing he dived toward the flaming building, hoping he
wasn't too late to save the girl, even if she was the red dragon, she didn't deserve to die. Tumbling
head ï¬rst into the hospital room he had placed her earlier, he looked around for her, then he saw her,
she was ï¬ddeling with......something. Swearing she glanced around the room, as if searching for for
an escape, then she noticed him. Her eyes turned into feline-like slits as her eyes narrowed in upon
the intruder, suddenly she charged him, Natsume, caught off gaurd, suddenly found himself
unconcious on the ground. A smug smile graced the blood red lips that were shocking against pale
skin. "Got you, black cat......" she chuckled.
That's how the Black cat met the Red Dragon, what will happen now that two enemies have come
together in the same place? The truth could never be more shocking, but one must watch the tale
unfold to ï¬nd the truth. For behind every cruel deed, there is a little bit of pain that creates the
desire for revenge.
