Bath Time

Kannon walked into the still dark bedroom, she could see the form on the bed and the smaller form on the floor next to the window. She walked quietly to the form on the floor.

"Gokuu. Wake up." She whispered, and shook the little boy's arm. The small head raised in the darkness and his sleepy eyes opened to look at her.

"Huh? Who are you?" He obviously was not awake just yet.

"It's me silly. Auntie Kannon." Gokuu smiled.

"Oh! Good morning!" Kannon hushed him and looked at the form in the bed, it stirred slightly.

"Quiet, Gokuu. I don't want to wake Konzen." Gokuu, a little confused, snapped his mouth shut. He stood up and clung to Kannon's side as they began to cross the room to the door. Kannon knelt to the boy's level.

"I want you to go outside and wait for me there. I have to tell Konzen where you are going."

"Where am I going Auntie?" Kannon laughed quietly at how he addressed her.

"Well, I am going to take you to another part of the palace, you can play there with your Nataku if you wish. I just figured that Oto-san deserved a day off." She smiled sweetly.

"Oto-san?" She hushed him again and turned him on his way. She walked toward the bed to speak with her nephew.

"Ah! Wait!" Gokuu had spun on his heel and raced past Kannon to Konzen's bedside. He put his hands on the edge of the bed and leaned over the peacefully sleeping man.

"Konzen?" He whispered. Konzen, not waking, answered him.

"Mm...What is it, chibi saru?" Gokuu smiled.

"Um. I love you. Bai!" Gokuu kissed his keeper's cheek and pulled back.

"Ok Gokuu." Konzen fingered the small hand that was close to his own, Gokuu moved his own closer. Konzen took it squeezed it lightly, he moved it up to his mouth then kissed the chibi hand and let it go. He turned onto his other side. Gokuu backed away from the bed. He walked out of the room and then ran outside.

"Kon-zen, Kon-zen, Kon-zen. You really are having fun, aren't you?" Konzen stirred at the sound of her voice. He turned toward her, struggling to blink his eyes open.

"Kannon? Is that you? What the hell are you doing in my room at this hour?" Kannon frowned and crossed her arms.

"You must really learn how to address me properly young man." She shook her head. Konzen narrowed his eyes at her, then he started. His eyes grew wide and he sat up quickly. He looked down at the empty bed roll on the floor next to him.

"Gokuu!? Where are you baka saru?" Kannon sat next to him on the bed and took him by the shoulders, trying to calm his outburst.

"Quiet you fool. You want to wake up all of heaven? He's just outside, with Jiroushin." Konzen calmed slightly and looked her in the face.

"He is? Why?" Konzen was still half asleep, he was easily coaxed to lay back down.

"I am going to take him for the day. So you can sleep in, love." Konzen tried to sit back up again.

"No, no that won't do." Kannon lightly held him in place.

"Yes, yes it will. Now just lay down and go back to sleep. If you miss your saru that much, you know where I live." Konzen shook is head.

"But you don't know how to care for a child, and that boy is a handful." Kannon put a hand to the side of his face.

"Nor do you nephew, and you seem to be handling it quite well." Konzen closed his eyes.

"So... then, I didn't dream his kiss?" Kannon glided her thumb on his soft skin.

"That's right, your chibi saru is gonna miss you all day long, nephew." Konzen, not completely aware of what he was doing, smiled at this. Kannon smiled as well, noticing again how much her stoic nephew had changed since the chibi entered his life. She stood and reached down to pull the covers up to his chin.

"Oh, Konzen. When was the last time I tucked you in?" Kannon looked at him pensively. Konzen's breathing pattern was soon deep and even, he was once again sound asleep. Kannon lent over and kissed his lips, subconsciously he kissed her back. Kannon pulled back and touched her lips, she hadn't expected that. Normally he would smack her, she smiled.

"Have fun Konzen, don't be too bored all day long." Konzen 'hn'-ed in his sleep and Kannon began to walk out.

"Kannon. Take good care of him. He better come back without a scratch." Kannon turned and looked at him.

"Of course, Oto-san." She said sarcastically, Konzen snorted a laugh and fell once again into his slumber. Kannon meet the other two outside.

The sun shone in through the window of Konzen's room, this morning's conversation almost forgotten.

"Gokuu?" Konzen questioned, wondering why the saru wasn't shaking him from his dreams and begging for food. Then he remembered. He sat up in bed and looked forlorn at the empty bedroll.

I hate this, he thought. He just couldn't stand the though of not knowing if the boy was getting himself in trouble. He was Konzen's responsibility after all. Konzen scowled and sat in bed alone, missing the usual weight of the hungry saru in his lap. Konzen's head snapped up when he heard a voice from the other room.

"Hello? Konzen? Are you in?" It was Tenpou's voice. Konzen's shoulders slumped slightly. Tenpou peeked into the bedroom.

"There you are." He walked in, a huge smile on his face, a half smoked cigarette also graced that smile.

"What brings you here, Tenpou?" Konzen pushed the blankets aside and swung his legs to the side of the bed. Tenpou quickly walked to meet him as he stood. Konzen, few inches shorter, was left looking at a close up of that handsome smile. He noticed that smile was minus the burning cigarette.

"What...?" Konzen said. Tenpou lifted his chin and looked at him sideways, he then kissed him softly on the lips.

"How long has it been, my friend, since you've made love to anyone?" Konzen failed to see the point.

"I don't know what the hell you are getting at." Tenpou, still smiling, grabbed Konzen around the waist. He sat on the bed where Konzen himself had just been and pulled the blond headed god down with him, forcing him to straddle his lap.

"Konzen." Tenpou breathed as he ran his fingers through Konzen's hair and kissed his neck. Konzen closed his eyes and let his head fall back.

"Tenpou, what is going on? Tell me, please. Was this all a set up?" Tenpou laughed lightly.

"Well, yes and no." Konzen opened his eyes and looked strait at him. Tenpou spoke again, "It was Kannon's idea to take Gokuu-chan for the day, I just happened to get wind of it from a servant." Konzen started to push against Tenpou, trying to stand up.

"Go back to your Kenren and leave me alone, Tenpou." Tenpou held fast to his hips and pulled him back down, slamming him into him. Konzen and Tenpou both winced.

"Is Kenren and my relationship such that I can't show you how much I still care for you? Besides, he is gone on a mission, so he has Gojoun to keep him company right now." Konzen smirked.

"Oh, I see how it is. You think he is cheating so you wanna get back at him, right?" Tenpou's smile finally disappeared.

"Watch it, Konzen." Konzen laid into him and started kissing his neck.

"No." Konzen found a loose piece of skin and began to suck on it, nipping and licking until it was a light shade of purple. He moved onto the next spot. Tenpou's tense body began to loosen up again and he let one of his hands rest on Konzen's head. He moaned through clenched teeth, still angry about Konzen's comment. Tenpou sucked in another breath and spoke.

"Anyway, love. I came to see you, end of story." Konzen stopped and rested his head on Tenpou's shoulder, he could feel his heart pounding in his throat. His thoughts still gravitated back to Gokuu, no matter how hard he tried not to.

"I am not gonna deny it, Tenpou. I miss him. Noisy as he is." Tenpou was about to question who when it hit him. How could he forget? Gokuu was the constant in Konzen's life now, not him.

"I remember when you used to miss me, Konzen." Tenpou closed his eyes and laid his head back against the wall. Konzen moved away from Tenpou's shoulder and looked at him. He watched as the light from the window danced on Tenpou's graceful eyelids and cheeks. He couldn't find any other reasons to say 'no' to him anymore.

"Tenpou. I'm sorry, about what I said. About Kenren." Tenpou opened his eyes.

"I know. But then, I think you are right." Konzen was about to say something when Tenpou kissed him. Konzen closed his eyes and enjoyed the kiss as much as he could. It was so forceful that it nearly hurt. The kiss continued on for a long moment until it ended with both men breathless and lips throbbing.

Tenpou reached up Konzen's night shirt and glided his hand over the soft skin. Konzen pulled his shirt off and then pulled Tenpou's head down to his chest. When lips touched his chest, Konzen arched his back into them. Tenpou's generous kisses, nips and licks covered Konzen's chest. Tenpou rose from the chest and leaned forward as Konzen removed his shirt as well, it having long before been unbuttoned. Tenpou's shirt and long coat was pushed behind him and his arms dragged out of it. Konzen returned the earlier favor by ravishing Tenpou's chest as well.

Nearly two hours later they laid in bed, their forms clung together and quivering slightly. Konzen held fast to Tenpou and watched him breathing. The sun had lowered in the sky. It was getting late, Gokuu would certainly be arriving home soon.

"Konzen, I should leave." Konzen pushed up to his elbows and looked him.

"Why? Can't you stay? I am sure Gokuu would want to see you." Tenpou smiled faintly.

"I am sure too, but... Kenren..." Konzen sat up now, a hard look in his eyes.

"I thought you said he was gone-"

"-On a mission." Tenpou cut in, "Yeah, I know I said that. I lied." Tenpou looked off at the far wall. A punch landed in his stomach that caused him to flinch and clutch at his midsection.

"Ow!" He yelled out, giving Konzen the evil eye.

"You deserved it." Tenpou closed his eyes and nodded. He sat up and swung his legs to the side of the bed. He grabbed his pants and began to put them back on.

"So then, why did you come?" Konzen said, watching him dress.

"It's like I said. I heard a rumor that you would be all alone today, I couldn't resist. 'Sides, Kenren was still sleeping when I went to visit him. Drank himself into a coma this time, I swear." Tenpou shook his head and grabbed his shirt. Konzen folded his legs up into his chest and rested his head on his knees.

"Oh, I see." Tenpou had just put his arms into this shirt when he stopped mid-task. He turned and looked at Konzen.

"Mai, mai. Konzen, I didn't mean to upset you." Konzen leaned toward him and kissed him on the lips. Tenpou was a little surprised but then closed his eyes and kissed him back. Konzen pulled away, standing up on the other side of the bed and walking to the bathing room, located just off of his sleeping quarters. Tenpou began to button his shirt back up.

"Don't make habit of this Tenpou. I don't think Kenren will be to happy when he finds out." Tenpou stopped buttoning.

"'When he finds out'? Just what do you mean... are you going to be the one to inform him?" Konzen exited the bathing room and started picking up his day clothes from the floor and putting them on.

"Yes. I am." Tenpou stuck out his bottom lip. Konzen, having only gotten as far as his pants, walked over to Tenpou on the bed. He flicked the lip and bent over him. He began to button the rest of the buttons on Tenpou's shirt.

"He should know. I think even you could agree." Tenpou smiled.

"Your right, he should know. You know, he told me he loved me last night..." Tenpou said absently. Konzen started, he sat next to Tenpou on the bed.

"He loves you?" Tenpou took Konzen's hand and examined it in contrast to his own.

"Yeah. But I am not sure what to think of it. He was quite drunk already. I don't know if it was the sake talking or if it was his real emotion. I- I'm quite confused." Tenpou lowered Konzen's hand and let it go. He looked out the window as a small brown head bounced past it, followed by two familiar shadows. Than a third followed slowly after it, the shape of a wine flask hanging from the shadow's back.

"Shit." Tenpou said. He stood up quickly and grabbed his long coat, heading for the door. He took a smoke out of the pocket and put in his mouth.

"Tell them I will be right there." Konzen said, standing as well and fetching the rest of his clothes, pulling them on quickly. Tenpou nodded and walked out into Konzen's main rooms. Konzen looked at the bed, the rumpled blankets wet and soiled. Quickly he gathered them up and placed them in the wash basket in the corner, he then grabbed Gokuu's bed roll and put it in the same basket. Making it look like a planned laundry day.

He could hear voices in the next room, one of a certain chibi saru inquiring about his keeper. And then a masculine sounding woman making some crack about 'oto-san' still sleeping. He then heard Kenren's voice, deep and sultry. It sounded as if he was questioning Tenpou about what he was doing in Konzen's apartments. Konzen tightened his ponytail and straightened his clothes. He took a deep breath and walked out into the other room.

"Konzen!" Gokuu ran up to his keeper and glomped him hard. Konzen toggled backward a couple steps until he caught his balance again. He hugged Gokuu back and then pushed him away a bit.

"Gokuu. You're home." Konzen knelt down to the boys level, forgetting about the others in the room, and held the boy to him. He had really missed him. The apartments were too clean, too quiet, and far too dull with out him there. Konzen heard someone clear their throat and pulled away from Gokuu. He looked up at the others. He stood to address Kannon.

"Well? How hard did you beat him?" Kannon laughed loudly and put her fists on her hips.

"Never had a need to. He was a perfect angel." Jiroushin spoke up then from her side.

"Yeah, 'angel'. The apartments are in a total state of disaster thanks to that little heretic." Gokuu clung to Konzen's side. Kannon looked bad at her right hand man.

"The only person I had to discipline today was you. Yelling at the chibi for a little mess here or there. Jeez, no wonder you have no children." Jiroushin turned to her, exasperation on his face.

"You only say this because you don't have to clean it up!" Kannon waved him off. She turns around begins to walk out, Jiroushin following closely behind, complaining about one thing or another. Konzen nods his head her direction as she waves goodbye.

"I don't like him." Gokuu said into Konzen's thy. Tenpou laughed.

"Oh don't worry Gokuu-chan! He's harmless! All bark and no bite!" Kenren stepped closer to Tenpou and put his hand on his shoulder. Tenpou looked at him and smiled. Konzen took Gokuu's hand and looked down at him.

"Look at you, Gokuu! You are an absolute mess. Let's get you in a bath before you start to stink worse than you already do. C'mon." He pulled at the chibi's hand and Gokuu followed obediently.

"Wait!" Gokuu stopped short of the sleeping quarters and looked back at the other two. Tenpou and Kenren were out of direct earshot. It appeared they were having a quiet discussion together. Tenpou had his arms around Kenren's neck, Kenren rested his chin on his companion's shoulder. Gokuu watched in wonder, not sure what to make of the touching moment.

"Konzen, what's with them?" Konzen gripped the boy's hand tighter and tugged at him.

"Leave them be, Chibi. Let's go." Gokuu reluctantly followed, still intrigued by the other two.

Once safely closed away in the bathing room, Konzen stripped the saru down to the bare essentials and tested the water in the hot spring in the corner of the room. Gokuu stood next to him, pulling at his shackles.

"I still don't understand why I have to wear these still..." Konzen looked back at the boy. He sat on the edge of the spring tub, surrounded by rocks, and pulled the boy close. He hugged his naked body to him.

"Konzen? Are you okay?" Gokuu's eyes opened quite wide in disbelief. Since when is Konzen this loving to him? He thought. Konzen pulled away and looked the boy in the eyes.

"Don't you dare repeat this to anyone, but. I missed you so much while you were gone. I couldn't stand not hearing you yelling in my ear every ten seconds." Konzen laughed lightly. Gokuu smiled sweetly, he was touched.

"I even dare say, I missed hearing you complain about being hungry." Gokuu giggled and touched Konzen's cheek. Konzen put his hand over Gokuu's.

"Okay, Chibi saru. Into the bath." Gokuu walked around Konzen and crawled over the rocks into the warm spring. He sat on his knees as Konzen washed his long brown hair with something that smelled like strawberries. Gokuu reached for the bottle, Konzen let him take it and eyed him carefully.

"Can I eat it?" He popped the lid and sniffed it, "It smells good, like strawberries. Mmm." Konzen snatched the bottle from Gokuu before any bodily damage could be incurred.

"Baka saru. No you can't eat this, it's soap!" Gokuu stuck out his bottom lip and moaned.

"I'm hungry, Konzen..." Konzen put the bottle in it's place and went back to Gokuu to rinse out his hair. He pushed down lightly on Gokuu's head.

"Dump you head into the water." Gokuu held his breath and fell backward into the water. Konzen reached in and shook the soap out of his hair. He watched as Gokuu's hair floated around his arms in the water. Gokuu lifted his face out so as to take a breath. He noticed Konzen looking at him and lifted himself up. Konzen was sitting on the rocks a the edge of the spring, it didn't take much for Gokuu to be exactly face to face with him.

"Gokuu, what are you doing?" Gokuu reached his wet hand up to the side of his face, Konzen just looked at him wide eyed. Standing in the water, Gokuu moved closer to Konzen. Konzen watched as Gokuu, soaking and nude, sat on his lap and clung to his neck. Untied brown hair clung to his skin and to the side of his face. Konzen was in to much shock to push the boy away. Suddenly a voice came booming from outside the door.

"Ne! Konzen!" Kenren knocked hard. Konzen, finally able to regain the use of his limbs, pushed Gokuu back into the water with a splash.

"Hurry up and finish. I'll be right outside the door." Konzen took a towel and patted himself, than he walked to the door and opened it halfway. Gokuu watched as he walked out and shut the door quietly.

Gokuu sat in the tub, pondering what he was thinking before. He didn't understand why it was he wanted to sit on Konzen that way. It made no sense to him. And then, this that happened to him while sitting there, the hardness in the appendage from which he only half understood. Gokuu looked down at himself, wondering how to get ride of the thing. He touched it lightly with his hand, and that sent a surge of strange feelings through him. Ones almost similar to when you taste a really yummy candy for the first time. Only, unlike candy, that flavor of the first time never went away. Gokuu finally just took it into his hand and held fast to it. The hardness and warmth that it contained was insane.

He had never felt it do this before, and yet it felt so natural. He began to tug lightly on it, felling those flavors surge once again. It felt beyond delicious. Gokuu closed his eyes and leaned his head on the rock in front of him. He pulled harder, mostly on instinct. He felt as if he need a release of some sort, what kind he was not sure of. He continued tugging until he finally discovered what it was his body needed to do. With a giant surge of lusty emotions, he came into the water. His appendage began to shrink once more, and Gokuu relaxed. As that the water was constantly flowing in and out of this spring, the white stuff had already filtered out. He then sank into the spring, all the way down to his nose.

As Gokuu laid in the water quietly, he could hear arguing voices outside the bathing room. He listened in as he finished up his bath.

"Is it true, what Tenpou said? About why he came over here, and what you two did?" Kenren said, a little too sober now for his liking, but then again this was important.

"Yeah. But then, I can never be sure if what he told you and what he told me is one in the same." Konzen leaned against the bathing room door, his arms over his chest.

"What does that mean!?" Kenren was already upset, this wasn't helping matters. Tenpou put his hand on Kenren's shoulder and tried to calm him down.

"All he means, Kenren is that he doesn't trust me anymore. I lied to him-" Kenren stared at him, shocked.

"To get me to do it with you." Konzen said.

"Say what? Tenpou, is that true?" Kenren turned to Tenpou, a pathetic look planted on his face. It really didn't suit him. Tenpou pulled him into him and kissed him. No care for the other man who stood patiently watching them. After the kiss, Kenren let him hold him to his chest. Kenren looked over at Konzen, then reached a hand out to him. Konzen, against his better judgment, took said hand and let Kenren pull him toward them. Kenren lent even closer to Konzen and kissed him as well. Tenpou just watched them and smiled. Konzen pulled away and backed into the door again.

"I- I have to check on Gokuu." Tenpou waved at him.

"That's okay. We have to get going anyway. It's getting quite late. Tell Gokuu-chan good night for us." Tenpou turned and began to walk away, followed soon after by Kenren.

"Good night, Konzen." He said.

"Good night." Konzen turned around and put his hand on the door. When he went to push it open, it opened itself. A sleepy Gokuu walked out, dressed in jammies.

"Oi, saru. I thought you wanted something to eat." Gokuu yawned and stretched.

"Nah. I'll eat lots tomorrow. I'm tired Konzen. Will you read a story with me?" Konzen nodded and took the boys hand, leading him to the study to find a book.
