It was a few hours later when the others saw Gojyo and Rianna again. Rianna looked extremely fatigued and the others could only guess that Gojyo had completely ravaged her senses. She looked pleased, though, as she sat on the bottom of the castle steps.

"What are you going to do now, Miss Rianna?" Hakkai inquired and Rianna looked at him.

"I suppose I can stay here. At least I can live in peace and wait," she replied.

"Wait for what?" Goku asked and Goyjo gave him a funny look.

"For my lover, of course."

"HIM?! You really wanna be stuck with him forever? Hey! Why'd you kick me?"

"Because you're a moron," Gojyo said.

"No I'm not! You take that back!"

"No."

"Pervert!"

"Dumbass ape!"

Rianna placed a hand on her head and Hakkai looked at her.

"Are you all right, Miss Rianna?" he asked and Rianna nodded her head.

"I'm fine. I just felt faint for a moment," she replied and Gojyo took her hand.

"You're pale," he said and Rianna smiled weakly.

"It's all right. Well, I guess I'd better let you go since we've already said our good-byes."

"Hey, I'll come back."

"So does a weed," Sanzo said and Gojyo glared at him.

"Shut up."

"You wanna die?"

"Why don't you just leave him alone? There was no reason for you to come along so why did you? You could have stayed in a nice warm bed instead of wasting your time here with me," Rianna said and Sanzo stared at her. He lowered his gun and turned away from Gojyo.

"Bitch," he muttered and walked away from where she stood.

"I do not think he knew how to deal with you," Hakkai said as Gojyo took her hand.

"Are you sure you'll be fine? You don't look that well," he said and Rianna glanced at him.

"Yes. I'll be fine. Now that everything that tormented me is gone. I'll be fine," she replied.

"Please do not be offended, Miss Rianna, but I would like you to lie down so that I may examine you. I think there is more bothering you than you are willing to say," Hakkai said and Rianna looked at him. Why did he have to be so intelligent? She reluctantly lay on the hard steps of the castle and Hakkai laid a hand over her stomach. The others watched as a greenish light came from his hand and Hakkai closed his eyes tight in concentration. He soon opened his eyes and glanced at Gojyo, who was visibly showing concern for her. Rianna laid a hand on his and Hakkai looked at her.

"Don't tell him," she whispered and Hakkai lowered his eyes, signifying that he honored her request.

"I won't," he replied softly. "For I once had a lover as well. She was raped and impregnated by a youkai..."

"I'm sorry."

"I have come to live with that past. At least you have been able to make better decisions than some of us. If you had committed suicide when you first saw Gojyo, you would not have known feelings like this. He does care for you. If he didn't, then he would not have gone through so much trouble to save you. What is growing inside you will have some of that courage I hope..."

"I hope so too. But please, don't tell him. I want it to be a surprise when he comes back."

"It may be many a year before he comes back. The child will have grown without knowing his father."

"I know but I think it's best this way."

"As you wish."
