Brothers ark episode two: weed and thorn part two

Thorn: previously, on ginga densetsu weed.

Weed: if he finds out himself, it could crush him.

Gb: i don't wish to harm you young one. i only come of the bird.

Thorn: up my ass you'll get it! I'm not letting weed down!

Nero: let's see them escape this one.

Thorn: it's a girl.

Now back to where we left off

Scene cuts to thorn and the others running through the forest

Thorn: so what was nero doing there anyway?

Mindy: they were planning to use me as bait for hougen's decision. well, at least nero was. i can see that you were able to change his minions.

Weed: well it was mainly thorn saving you that did the trick. hell, he looks, and acts like out dad.

Thorn: i do?

Weed: well yeah actually. mom told be lots of stories about him.

Gb: how much farther?

Weed: we're almost there.

Ken: why are we running again?

Thorn: well, out mom's sick and alone at the house, our dad left us, and i don't know what the hell goes on in the city. can't really think of a core reason.

Weed rolls his eyes

Mindy: i sure hope your mom's alright.

Thorn: me and weed have been giving her those berries that help with diseases, so she should be fine.

Thorn and the others arrive to where thorn and weed live

Thorn: we're here guys.

Gb: you guys have a house? interesting place to live for stray dogs.

Weed: we know, but we make it work.

Sakura: weed. thorn.

Weed: mom?

Weed and thorn run over to where their mother is

Thorn: mom. what's wrong?

Sakura: my time has come my children.

Thorn: time for what?

Weed: she's dying you idiot.

Thorn frowns

Thorn: oh.

Naruto sadness and sorrow plays

Sakura: weed.

Weed gets closer

Weed: yes mother?

Sakura: you have to tell weed the truth. it's time for his destiny, to be revealed.

Thorn: that destiny thing again? first weed, and now mom. who's next? this girl we saved?

Sakura laughs a bit

Sakura: thorn. what you are about to hear may leave you with questions.

Thorn: no kidding.

Sakura: but just remember. i will always be with you in your hearts. weed. come closer

Weed looks at his mother

Sakura: please weed. watch over your brother.

Weed: let's see hougen try and stop me.

Sakura smiles and cries a tear of joy

Sakura: goodbye. my sons.

Sakura dies

Thorn: mom?

Weed: mother.

Thorn starts crying silently

Weed: thorn. i know it's hard. but now, we have to accept this.

Thorn: why weed? why did she have to die?

Weed: thorn. she was ill. she was bound to die eventually.

Thorn hugs weed

Weed: sometimes death can come at times you least expect, and at times, when you least desire it. but that special time comes, when someone's met there fate, and they pass on. weather they go to heaven, or hell, is all up to god. our mother was very caring. so, she'll be going to heaven.

Thorn stops crying and the music stops

Thorn: yeah. she is.

Weed smiles

Thorn: oh, wait!

Thorn runs inside

Mindy: where's he going?

Weed: thorn found something in the woods that i told him our mother liked. maybe he was waiting until now to get it.

Thorn comes back with a glowing flower

Mindy: what's that?

Thorn: it's a soul flower. one time, weed told me that when our parents were kids, this was our mothers favorite flower.

Weed: one day we found one. so, thorn decided to take it home, so we could remember our mother by.

Ken: i see.

Gb: what a beautiful way to honor her.

Weed frowns and gets ready to tell thorn the truth

Weed: thorn.

Thorn: yeah weed?

Weed breaths in

Weed: there's something that i've been meaning to tell you.

Thorn: what is it?

Weed: as you know, we are the sons of sakura.

Thorn: yeah.

Weed: what you don't know is...gin is our father.

Thorn: i'm one of the sons of gin?

Weed: yes. and sadly, our father left us a long time ago, in order to protect ohu, in order to protect it from the minions of hougen. hougen's been dead for quite sometime, and it's unknown of what happened to his son. rumors have been going around saying that his son gained a mystical power that gives him the ability to manipulate others into doing his bidding. for quite some time now, both warriors have been fighting with their armies, and it's up to us to stop the war. together, you and i, are the chosen ones to stop the war, and save ohu.

Thorn looks down as all of his previous joy leaves his body and weed stands up

Weed: thorn.

Thorn: why?

Weed: why what thorn?

Thorn looks up at weed

Thorn: why did our mother think that the best time for this would be her fucking death!?

Mindy realizes thorn's pain

Weed: thorn! i know this is a hard time for both of us, but that's no excuse for using profanity against me!

Thorn stands up

Thorn: no weed, fuck that! i wanna know where the world went, to think that my mother's death would be the best time to tell me this! first my mom dies! and now i have to stop a war!? hell, i don't even know who this hougen junior guy is, and you expect me to end him!? after facing the death of my own mother, right in front of me, tell me how you'd expect me to take this horse crap!

Weed sees thorn's pain

Weed: thorn. i'm sorry it had to come at a time like this, but if you-

Thorn: no fuck that shit weed! i've been lied to, about my fate, this entire time, and i wanna know how long this has been up for!

Weed: thorn, please. me and the other residents of ohu only wanted to protect you.

Thorn: well you sure have a funny as hell way of showing it!

Weed: thorn, it's okay. we can work through this.

Thorn: fuck that too weed! tell me, how how do you expect to work through this!?

Weed backs up a bit and thorn starts crying

Weed: brother.

Thorn: do you have any idea, what it's like, to see your mother's death in person, and then be faced with the destiny of stopping a war? why don't you think about that for a sec?

Weed starts to feel guilty as thorn walks off

Thorn: just think weed. you know this was a bad time to reveal it.

Weed sheds a tear

Weed: thorn.

Scene cuts to thorn walking through the forest as the my little pony friendship is magic song, the pony i want to be instrumental plays

Thorn:(singing)if i'm kid then why do i, have to stop, a war? my father's gin but even, that fact is, not enough. there's something burning in me, and i'm bound, to mess up. i get that dogs are strong, but i'm feel, like i broke.

Thorn leans on a rock near the river

Thorn:(singing)would you believe...that all that i've, been through proves, that i'm not, meant to take, this task? yet i can see...i have to prove, that i'm the dog that i wanna be.

Weed is seen spying on thorn as he walks into the woods

Thorn:(singing)i've thought for my whole life, what to do, what to say. but sadly, on the day, that i saw my, mom decay. i found out my destiny's dark, and i don't know, what to do. my joy's sinking, and i'm about, to die too.

Thorn climbs up a rock wall

Thorn:(singing)would you believe...that all that i've, been through proves, that i'm not, meant to take, this task? yet i can see...i have to prove, that i'm the dog that i wanna be.

Thorn stands at the edge of the rock he climbed up to

Thorn:(singing)i am the dog that i wanna be

Thorn sits down and looks over the river close to his home

Scene cuts to weed climbing up the same rock thorn is on and walking over to him

Weed: brother.

Thorn turns around

Thorn: what do you want exactly?

Weed: thorn, please. i know it's hard for you, but we can make it through this.

Thorn: and just how do you plan to do that?

Thorn turns around

Thorn: we've been hiding from hougen for years now. how do you expect to stop him?

Weed: i don't thorn. but what i do know is that we can't just give up here and now. i know we can stop hougen junior bastard. no matter what it takes, there's nothing to be afraid of.

Thorn looks at weed

Thorn: weed. that's not what i'm mad about.

Weed: then...what is it?

Thorn slams his paw on the ground making weed step back as angel beats ichiban no takaramono plays

Thorn: maybe it's because i'm not worthy to handle any of this crap!

Thorn starts crying

Weed: thorn.

Thorn: you may be up for this, but i have no experience in fighting! you've been protecting me and our mother for as long as i can remember. and what have i done to help? bring back a stupid pigeon that i fought for!?

Weed becomes shocked

Thorn: that's right! i for those neck bruises from when i was fighting from gb for that bird! i only told you different because i was worried that if you went after him, nero would've caught and harmed you! do you think it's easy facing a nero warrior!? oh, hell no, it's a damn hard thing to do! and if you find one then watch out!

Weed starts to feel thorn’s pain

Weed: thorn.

Thorn: i'm sorry weed.

Weed becomes surprised at thorn's apology

Weed: sorry? for what? you never did anything.

Thorn: i'm sorry for being useless! i'm nothing but a useless pile of fucking cow shit! the only thing i can do while on the journey to mount ohu is be there and hold everyone back! every little part of my personality is bound to get us all killed! but being hated isn't what i'm worried about. it's the fact that i'm going to fail at my destined fate that i'm worried about!

Weed: what do you mean?

Thorn: i'd just get us all captured by hougen junior, and then turned into slaves. i'm worried that if i do go on the mission, i'll just be nothing but a nuisance. i'm scared weed. i'm scared.

Weed walks over to thorn

Weed: thorn.

Thorn looks at weed

Weed: come here. you clearly need some comfort.

Thorn hugs weed

Weed: thorn. do you remember when you were born?

Thorn flashbacks about him meeting weed

Past weed: hey little guy. welcome to the world.

Past thorn struggles but walks over to weed who holds him

Past sakura: he seems to like you weed.

Past weed: yeah. he does, doesn't he.

Past sakura: i wonder what we should name him.

Past weed: i actually did have a name in mind for him. something that's the opposite of my name.

Past sakura: oh. i see. what is that name exactly?

Past weed: i'll tell you mom. i name thee...thorn.

Past thorn laughs and hugs weed's neck

Past sakura chuckles

Past sakura: he seems to like you.

Past weed smiles

Past weed: yeah. he does. i have a feeling that we're going to get along just fine.

Flashback ends

Thorn: yeah. my first site of the world, was you.

Weed: and you never want to be apart from it. thorn, don't forget that you're not alone on this. sure i vowed at your birth to protect you no matter what. but that doesn't mean that you can't protect yourself. and as long as we work together, and gather up enough warriors, we can defeat hougen junior. no matter what.

Thorn stops crying and looks at weed

Thorn: do you really mean that?

Weed: yes thorn. I do.

Thorn smiles

Thorn: thank you weed. let's go back to the others.

Weed nods

Weed: right.

Thorn follows weed down the rock wall and back to the others

Weed: ya know thorn, i was worried that i couldn’t get through to you.

Thorn: you kidding me weed? you’ve always been able to in the past. i’m still pretty mixed on this whole thing, but i’ll still do it.

Weed smiles

Weed: glad to hear.

Scene cuts to weed and thorn arriving back at weed and thorn's house

Mindy: hey. you’re back.

Weed: we can see that.

Ken: seems like you’re feeling better thorn.

Gb: what exactly happened out there?

Weed: that’s for us to know, and you to find out. but what i can tell you is that thorn’s a surprisingly good singer.

Mindy: he is?

Thorn: i am?

Weed: i overheard you singing about your struggles with accepting your destiny. your voice is really calming.

Mindy smiles

Mindy: i like that in someone.

Thorn: really?

Mindy: totally.

Thorn smiles

Thorn: well cmon guys. If we’re ever gonna get to mount ohu then we’ve got no time to lose. i’ll go get my stuff.

Thorn runs into his house and into his room

Thorn: alright. now where’s my traveling pack?

Thorn finds a backpack in his dresser

Thorn: here it is.

Thorn grabs some capsules from out of his closet and puts them in his pack

Thorn: you didn’t expect us to just starve the whole way there, did you? these are just for survival.

Thorn runs out of the house

Thorn: i’m back guys. hope i didn’t take to long.

Weed: not at all. i see you’ve got your adventuring pack.

Thorn: you can never be too ready for what you’re about to face.

Gb: what exactly did you put in there thorn?

Thorn: oh. just some capsules and stuff for when we’re too hungry to hunt or tired.

Ken: i do get tired when hunting.

Gb: it’s true. he does.

Mindy: so are we gonna head to mount ohu or what?

Thorn: who said we weren’t? and thanks to weed, i’m certain we’ll stop hougen junior.

Weed: right. let’s get going.

Thorn and the others head for mount ohu

Narrator: and so, with thorn discovering his true destiny, he and his friends set off to mount ohu. thanks to his beloved brother weed, thorn is now more confident in saving the land of ohu. little do they know however, hougen junior is much more threatening than they suspect. however, with the help of their newfound friends, weed and thorn will fulfill their destiny, and have hougen junior meet his fate. what adventures await our heroes in the future? stay tuned in next time for more ginga densetsu weed: the legend of thorn.

Scene cuts to hougen junior in his lair spying on thorn and the others

Junior: so. that little brat and his friends think they can stop me, huh?

Junior turns off his computer

Junior: because if so, then they’re in for a nightmare.

Junior presses a button

Junior: jerome. enter.

Jerome enters the room

Jerome: yes master. how may i assist you?

Junior: go after that thorn kid and his little minions.

Jerome nods

Jerome: yes junior. i shall not disappoint you.

Jerome runs off

Junior: you’d better not.

Just then junior gets a call and answers it

Junior: ah. gin. it’s been quite some time, hasn’t it?

Gin: you can’t keep this up forever junior. my sons will stop you.

Junior: oh you mean the boring one and the one with destiny issues? yes, i do believe they wish to end me, and stop the war. but don’t get your hopes up. i sent my best minion to stop them. i myself trained him in only the best of martial arts.

Gin: that won’t solve anything. you’re still just a puppy. you still have much to learn.

Junior: and so do your children, who’re still my age. and if jerome doesn’t stop them, then i’ll do it myself.

Gin: you disgust me junior. you won’t get away with this.

Junior: we’ll see about that gin. prepare yourself for the final battle. you and your minions shall all die. one by one. they will fall.

Gin: even if you do defeat my minions, you won’t defeat my sons. they will stop you no matter what.

Junior: i honestly doubt it. goodbye for now.

Junior hangs up

Junior: go ahead and try me thorn. i’ll play your little game of hunger games. because as we both know, it will be your last.

Hougen junior laughs maniacally as the screen fades to black

Thorn: wow. the guys are really surprised at the capsules i brought. in case you’re wondering, thanks to weed, i gained a little more confidence in my journey to mount ohu, but i’m still pretty skeptical about it. on the plus side though, i get to use these capsules i’ve been saving up. ken and gb are just being them, first seeing capsules, mindy’s reaction is, rather questionable, but weed’s pretty confident in these things. next time, the journey to ohu. that’s really noble of you mindy, but it’s just a house. wait, who the hell is this dude?
