Chapter Two:

As soon as Shuichi had left Yuki’s apartment, he had gone back to Hiro’s place. His best friend had let him cry all over him, but Shuichi had had enough. Now that his relationship with Yuki was over, he was going to be strong. He had taken Yuki’s shit for too long, he couldn’t let the man do this to him anymore.

But he knew it was easier said than done. He knew it was going to be hard without Yuki, the man had always looked after him. He had never needed to fend for himself before. And despite what Yuki had done to him, he still loved the man. Yuki was, and will always be, his first love.

But he had to try. He knew he couldn’t stay in Japan, he had to get away for a while. He had to put enough distance between Yuki and himself. Maybe then he would be able to sort himself out.

He had called the airport and booked a flight to America. He was going to visit Ryuichi, who had been living in America for a couple of years now. He had missed his idol a lot. Hiro was also going, which Shuichi was grateful for. He would be surrounded by two of his greatest friends, just what he needed.

The flight had left Narita airport at 5pm. Shuichi looked out the window, glad to be leaving Japan behind, even if it was only for a month. He had to get as far away from Yuki as he could. He shuddered when he thought about the older man, of what he had done to him.

He looked over at Hiro to see his friend’s eyes were shut. He sighed, guessing it wouldn’t hurt if he got some sleep, it was a long flight. He closed his eyes, hoping he didn’t have any nightmares, like he had been having for the past week.

Dream

I sigh as I lay in bed. Yuki was in the front room, getting drunk. He had been in a foul mood all day. He’s got writers block, so I’m staying away from him. If I make one move, he’ll probably throw me out.

Suddenly the door crashed open and Yuki strode into the room, grabbing my arm and pulling me out of bed. He didn’t say anything, just raised his fist and slammed it into my stomach, knocking the breath out of me. He didn’t give me a chance to do anything, his fists raining down upon my body.

My eyes blurred and I collapsed to the floo., Yuki turned me to lay on my back and ripped my boxers from my body. I had no breath to talk, I just watched in horror as he freed himself and slammed into me roughly. One of his hands covered my mouth, so my scream was muffled, his other hand pinned my hands above my head.

I could feel something trickling down my legs as Yuki continued to brutally fuck me. My mind went back to the time when I was raped by Taki’s thugs, but this time was different. This time it was Yuki, the man who was supposed to love me.

Tears filled my eyes, and Yuki suddenly let go of my mouth and punched the side of my head, knocking me unconscious.

--

When I came to, I was laying in bed, and my wounds had been cleaned. I looked around to see Yuki sitting on the end of the bed, drinking a can of beer. When he saw I was awake, he put the can on the bedside table and moved closer to me. I tensed, but all he did was take me into his arms. His hand moved to my hair, running his ringers through it.

“I’m so sorry Shuichi…I didn’t mean it…please forgive me, it will never happen again. I love you.” He stopped as he started to cry.

I sat here in Yuki arms, letting him hold me. I was too scared to do anything. He had raped and beat me, did I believe that he wouldn’t do I again? I suppressed a sigh as I wrapped my arms around him.

When we pulled apart, Yuki kissed my forehead, then stumbled to his feet. He was still drunk.

“Get some sleep.” He said. “I’m going to take a walk.”
He left, and as soon as I heard the front door close, I cried. I cried for a long time until I fell asleep.

When I woke up the next morning, Yuki wasn’t in bed beside me. I got up and had a shower. While I was dressing, I winced at the bruises on my chest and face. I had no idea how I was going to explain what happened.

As soon as I was dressed, I walked out into the front room. I looked for Yuki, but he wasn’t there. I vaguely wondered if he came home last night, but to be honest I couldn’t care less. After what he did to me, I wouldn’t care if I never saw him again.

Unfortunately, Yuki came in when I was in the kitchen. He wrapped his arms around my waist and turned me around. His eyes widened as he saw the bruises on my face.

“What happened?” He asks.

Typical, he forgot. I guess I have to lie, but I don’t know why. Why can’t I just tell him what he did to me? I know it’s because I’m scared that if I tell him, he will get angry and hit me again. So I opened my mouth and gave him the lamest excuse.

“I fell over the bed sheets and hit my face on the ground.”Yuki just looked at me, before kissing me softly.

“Baka.” He murmured, as he began to make coffee.

“I have to go to work.” I say, leaving the kitchen.

--

When I got home from work, Yuki was once again sat on the couch drinking a can of beer. Others lay empty all over the floor. I ignored the drunk man and went into the kitchen, but I was scared… What if he does something?

With that thought in mind, I turn to leave the kitchen, but I bump into Yuki’s chest. He grabs my shoulders and pushes me against the wall, his fist connecting with my already bruised torso.

I hear him open a drawer as I slide down the wall, clutching my stomach. He suddenly grabs my arm and pulls me roughly to my feet. My eyes widen as I see a knife in his hand. His body presses against mine, trapping me to the wall.

His left hand wraps around my throat. I watch in terror as he brings the knife to run it gently against my face. Letting go of my throat, he rips my shirt off, and throws it to the floor. He then runs the knife against my chest, hard enough to cut. He laughs as I hiss in pain.

He keeps slashing at me, the pain making me feel dizzy. Suddenly blinding pain flares through my stomach. I can’t scream, my voice doesn’t seem to be working. I look down to see the knife protruding from my stomach. Yuki backs away from me, his face a look of pure horror.

He must have been snapped out of it. Too bad he couldn’t have snapped out of it sooner. He holds his shaking hands up to his face, covered in my blood. I slide down the wall, and fall unconscious.

--

When I next wake up, I’m in a soft bed, a beeping noise next to my ear. I look around the white room, and realise I’m in the hospital. Pulling the blanket away from my body, I see a big bandage covering my stomach and a dozen small ones scattered across my chest and arms.

I close my eyes for a second, before everything comes back to me. I don’t know if Yuki had tried to kill me, or- well…I guess it was pretty obvious, he stabbed me.

Looking around, I’m alone in the room. I don’t like it. Lifting my arm, I wince as I rip the wires out. Suddenly the machine beside my bed makes that continuous beeping sound. A few nurses burst into the room as I’m trying to get out of bed.

“Mr Shindou, please get back in bed. You’re in no shape to be up yet.”“I want to go home.” I say. “Who brought me here?”I resign myself and let them put me back to bed.

“A tall blonde haired man brought you in, and left as soon as he put you on the stretcher. He didn’t say anything, I think he was drunk. But it was lucky that he had found you, because you would have died otherwise.”After they left the room, I let myself cry. Not doubt Yuki will have forgotten what he did, and will be now at home, wondering where the hell I am.

End Dream

“Shu…wake up. We’re here.” He felt someone shake his arm.
Shuichi’s eyes snapped open, terrified for a moment, wondering where the hell he was. He looked around, before locking eyes with Hiro. He sighed, suddenly remembering where he was and why. It was that dream again, he had it most nights.

He had told no one what had happened. He still had the scar where Yuki stabbed him. He felt tears build behind his eyelids, but he refused to let them fall. He didn’t want to feel weak again.

Hiro’s hand on his arm snaps him out of his daze. He plastered a fake smile on his face and followed his friend off the plane. A sudden screech was heard, and a blur sped towards him. He stepped behind Hiro, he didn’t think his bruised body would take Ryuichi jumping on him.

Ryuichi stopped when he saw his friend move, and frowned. When he saw Shuichi’s face, he gasped. Who had done this to his friend? He looked at Hiro who shook his head. Ryuichi plastered a smile on his face and bounced.

“Hey Shu-chan! It’s good to see you again, you too Hiro-kun. Come on, my limos parked nearby and I’ve got loads of yummy things to eat!”Shuichi’s lips managed to resemble a small smile, and Hiro laughed. They followed the hyper rock star to his limo. Ryuichi was worried, he wished he had brought Kumagorou with him… he wanted comfort. No, what he wanted more than anything was to kick the shit out of whoever hurt his friend.

Shuichi sighed. It was good to see Ryuichi again. He hoped he would be able to forget about Yuki and have a good time, but he already knew it would be useless. Even after everything the man had did to him, he still loved him with all his heart. He was so screwed.

He got into the limo, and listened as Ryuichi spoke a mile a minute about all the places he was going to take them, and how much fun they were going to have.

Both Hiro and Ryuichi noticed that Shuichi was not really all there. They looked at each other. It was a silent communion between the both of them, they would make sure Shuichi had a good time.
