With all of the pocky stored away (where ever there was room… Bathroom cupboard, kitchen cupboard, kitchen counter, living room stands {coffee table entertainment center} some in the car, in Yuki's writing nook…. Just about every where you could possibly think of besides under the sink or in the oven) Shuichi decided some sleep would do nicely. He was still a bit sore every where. So he popped a couple pills and lay down on the couch where Yuki was smoking a cigarette and reading over his new book. He was actually starting to calm down a bit until Shuichi coughed and a bit of blood came out of his mouth fallowed by a nose bleed.
“Apply pressure to the top of your nose. You have to see the doctor. Something is wrong.”
“Ok. But I feel absolutely normal.”
Shuichi went to stand and then fell over. He had passed out. Yuki called an ambulance and held Shuichi's head on his lap. Moving the hair away from Shuichi's face he sobbed. A tear gleamed in the light and slid slowly down his face landing on Shuichi's lips that were parted half way.
“Don't leave me Shuichi.” He whispered into his ear. “Stay with me. Every thing will be better I promise. I won't call you names anymore or pick on you for being such a sissy. That is something I love about you really. I like how you always want to be near me. Secretly I want that to. I want to flaunt you around to everyone. I want everyone to know that you are mine, and I am yours. I love you. There are still so many things we have to do. So you have to stay with me ok…”
At that moment the ambulance arrived. Yuki answered the door and they hurried to Shuichi's side to check his vitals. Heart beat was a bit faint. Blood pressure was low. They hurriedly got him onto a bed and rolled him out. Yuki fallowed the ambulance all the way to the hospital and awaited the dreadful wait in the waiting room while to X-rayed and ran tests to only find out that he had internal bleeding. His lungs were taking on fluid causing his breathing to stop. Emergency surgery was needed and fast. Yuki paced in the waiting room. Sat and paced again. He was the only one there. He felt a ball come from his gut into his thought. He couldn't move, couldn't breathe, couldn't swallow. He ran his fingers through his hair as he leaned over in his char. Rested his head on his arms and cried. Crying. Something Yuki knew nothing about. How hard it was to cry. How much hurt you feel when crying. He also knew nothing on stopping. IF you had seen him you would have cried also. It was pure sorrow. He didn't know what he wanted to do but he knew he wanted to do something. And then sleep overcame him as he dozed off leaning back against the wall seated on the floor. It was morning when he was awoken by a nurse.
“You can go see him now.”
“Thanks.
