“Yuuuukkkiiiiii! When are we gonna goooo?!!” Shuichi called from what sounded like the living room.

“In a minute brat!” The novelist called hotly from his study as he hurried to put his laptop in its black carrying case.

“Can I get my shoes on?” Shuichi asked loudly as he rolled off the leather couch and onto the hard floor with a `thud!'

“Yah, sure, whatever you want!” Eiri called back inattentively as he flew through a mental list of everything he had packed to see if there was anything he had forgotten. The blonde had packed all the suitcases and moved them down into his black Mercedes after Shuichi had fallen asleep the previous night. He swore that kid could sleep through anything, though he'd never actually tested the theory.

“Yuuukkk—” Shuichi started loudly before being cut off by his lover's gruff voice.

“Shuichi, if you don't shut the fuck up right now I'm not taking you anywhere!” Yuki barked as he swung his computer bag over his shoulder and walked briskly to the front door, stopping only to grab his brown suede jacket off the back of a kitchen chair and his pack of smokes off the table.

“Why are you bringing your…” The young vocalist started quietly as his long-lashed sapphire eyes fell to his lover's side where the ominous-but-seemingly-innocent looking leather bag hung. The pink haired singer hated to see it any other place but the study because it always seemed to make a habit of wedging it's way between Yuki and himself.

“Working abroad helps me when I can't think of anything to write,” Eiri explained dryly as he slipped his brown boots onto his feet and opened the front door for his pouting lover.

Neither of them talked as they walked along the icy path to the large garage that contained all three of Yuki's cars. Just before they reached the door Shuichi's feet slipped on a patch of ice, causing him to fall backwards. On his way down he grabbed onto Eiri to try and stabilize himself, but the blonde was too busy trying to dig his car keys out of his coat pocket to be able to even support himself. He ended up flat on his back next to a crying Shuichi.

“Your such a klutz!” The novelist said angrily as he picked himself up off the ground and brushed the snow off his jacket, “Damn brat. Stop crying and get up!” He mechanically extended his hand out to his whimpering lover and helped the boy up off the ground as he began fishing around inside his jacket pocket again, trying to locate his remote car starter.
After his lengthy search turned up nothing but lint, He gave up on the outside pockets and reached inside his jacket to search the inner breast pocket.
The writer cracked a half smile in triumphant satisfaction as he pulled out the sleek silver remote/key combo and pointed it at the garage; The sound of a car engine rumbling to life following soon after.

“Pay more attention to where your walking next time,” Yuki said as he opened the garage door with his remote and let Shuichi step inside first.

“We're taking the Mercedes?” The singer asked quizzically as he stared at the gleaming, curved body of Yuki's most expensive car, “But it's winter!”

“I know that you dumb ass,” The writer said flatly, lighting a cigarette as he went over to the drivers side rear door to put his computer in the back seat, “But I want to drive it today. You got a problem with that?”

“No no Eiri!” Shuichi stammered apologetically, “It's just that you don't usually drive your Mercedes in the winter and it surprised me. That's all!”

It was true; Yuki didn't like to drive his Mercedes in the winter because he didn't like to get it dirty or wet if he could help it, but he didn't have any other choice but to drive it this time. His expensive, German -made vehicle was the only one of his cars with a big enough trunk for all their luggage.

“Get in brat, I want to get were we're going before it gets dark,” Yuki said, shutting the back door softly and opening the front one so he could get in.

`Before it gets dark? It won't be getting dark for another five or six hours! Where is he taking me? Shuichi thought, a look of excited worry that only he could pull off rapidly spreading across his face as he turned and hurried around to get in the passenger side door.

Yuki closed his door, put the key into the ignition and restarted the car. He revved up the cold engine once or twice before tapping the gas a little too hard and pulling out of the garage.

“Whoa, Yuki slow down! You almost hit that car!” Shuichi yelled frenetically as they reached the top of the sub-level garage and turned onto the main road.

The blonde quickly glanced at his speedometer and slowed down when he saw that it was way past where it should be.

“Sorry Shu-chan. I didn't realize how fast I was going,” He said compliantly as he took a left onto one of Tokyo's crowded downtown streets.

“It's okay Yuki, I…” Shuichi paused and his mouth dropped down when his brain finally caught up with what his lover had just said, “Did… did you just call me… Shu-chan?”

Yuki froze momentarily before covering up with a lame and drowsy sounding “oh, yah, I guess I did huh.”

Shuichi couldn't have been happier. He wanted to laugh and cry and melt all at the same time. The singer turned back to face the windshield, his hands balling into tight little fists as he fought to control himself.

`He loves me!' Shu though dreamily as he sat tensely in his heated leather bucket seat, `I know he does or he wouldn't have said that! And even if it was a slip up, he thought it! Which must means that he thinks about me like that! Oh I love you Yuki!'

Shuichi un-balled his fists and turned to gaze at his lover with large, watery sapphire eyes, hoping to receive a tiny smile or even a returning glance, but he didn't receive a thing.
Obviously it wasn't that big of a deal to Yuki because he just stared blankly out the windshield at the bumper of the car in front of him, looking pissed for no apparent reason.

The irritated novelist paid no attention to the quivery puddle of pink jelly in the seat next to him and concentrated solely on the cars around him. The traffic was moving slower than was normal for that time of day, so he rolled down his tinted side window to look out and see what was causing the delays.

“Oh that's just perfect,” Yuki muttered angrily when he saw what was causing the hold up. Apparently the road was being narrowed down to only two lanes due to construction and they were now stuck in an all way traffic jam.

`Should I say something?' Shuichi thought to himself as he prepared to break the stale silence that hung suspended between them, `What should I say? Maybe I should ask him how his new book is coming along… or …something?

“So, Yuki, what's your new …book…ab…,” Shu said quietly as he turned to face his aggravated lover, who's face now displayed a look that would have you six hundred feet under before you could even blink.
The boy's sentence trailed off into silent nothingness and his face exhibited a look of shocked terror as his body went almost completely rigid in his seat.

Ooh!!! I wonder what Shu-chan saw? Guess you'll have to keep reading on to chapter five for a full explanation!
Thank-You's go out to every one who reviewed chapter three!
Shizuo~Chan (love101): yay! you updated! shuichi cracks me up! so does how well yuki knows shu^^...i'm happy you're going to update soon...that's what you said, i keep your word for it....
Shuichi has got to be one of my favorite characters other than Ryuichi and Eiri who I like for different reasons. Shuichi is just such a well rounded character who is both funny, caring, eccentric and a teensy bit on the possesive/obsessive side, but who isn't!lol!
I adore Ryuichi because he reminds me of myself in such a way that it is scary and Eiri because he is misunderstood and scared. Every time I watch the second Gravitation dvd I feel so bad for Eiri, especially when he starts to cry! I want to hug him so badly it hurts! Oh well! I guess I'll have to settle for the pillow I have with his picture on it! (huggle-glomps pillow!) And yes I promise to up date as soon as I can. Hopefully the updates should be coming within two or three days of each other if not sooner.
Krazykate: Okay, this fic was completely adorable!! I absolutely love it so far. I was sad because, for some reason, when I first looked at it, i thought it had like five chapters, so then....it didn't. I was all like, 'all right, on to the next!' and then...nope. You must update SOON, I order you!! lol.
Thank's a bunch for theeight out of ten rating! You're thefirst one to give me a rated review and I'm glad you were honest about it!(you were weren't you?) Oh well It doesn't matter! I am sorry that you got sad becauseyou didn't get to read thefive chapters you thought my story had,but I assure you that the next chapter is coming really really soon! I hate to keep you guys waiting.
I had twoquestionsfor you guys. One,Would you prefer long chapter'sfarther spaced or shorter chapters more frequently? I'm pretty sure I can do both so if you have any personal preferencesplease let me know! I cater to you,my most loyal readers!*Bows*< /b>
Second of all, do you guys have any predictions for upcoming chapters?I mean the title doesn't really scream Gravitation does it? It just kind of came out of theblue when I was writing thefirst chapter over again. (I added thelemon at the end becauseI figured It was way to cruel to leave it hanging how I had it, especially since I built up to it from thefirst sentence of thechapter!) The title mustmake you think of something and I am interested to know what that somethingis!
Sayonara till next time guys!
