It's been a while- now hasn't it? But I'm glad to be back and I'm bored mindless- then I remembered this, and since I felt SO guilty I decided to COME BACK as well as Hope did. ^ ^;;;;;; Enjoy!

Chapter 20: The found Love, the found Goddess, the lost Lucifer.

Hope: So, I felt a person reaching out to me, then I felt them slip away, but I caught that they were sad. I don't want anyone to ever be sad- especially over me. So I came back to make sure no one would be sad over me. I don't want anyone to be sad- because of me.

Rini: That was Sandy. Sandy- why were you sad?

Sandy: I....... was thinking that if she were to live..... I heard that the War Goddess was-

Gina: *slyly* Heard?

Sandy: *blushes* I Saw it. I Saw that the War Goddess would be able to help me care. To..... like people. I was always secluded, and seeing how close the four of you were- I got jealous....

Hope: Oh, why Sandy!!! You should never be jealous of me. I wouldn't want that either. My life sucks.

Gina: I have to agree. We have not only lost our friends and family, but almost eachother.

Hope: Michael....... *sighs then stands* Excuse me.

Hope walked out to stand on the deck. They had stayed in Erryn's little home and they had divvied up the rooms while she put up charms and spells... for protection. She looked out at the woods that surrounded the quiet cottage-like home. There were four ways to get in- five if you included the balcony and 10 if you counted each window as well. There was a door in the back, a door to the deck, the balcony, a door on the side opposite the deck and a door in the front. There were two levels- a ground floor and an upstairs along with an attic that was too small for anything but a little storage. It was brick, and had a fireplace that she had helped keep going with Erryn who went out and got wood. She crossed her arms over the beam before her that served as a railing. Her layered, spikey black hair fell back as she gazed up at the moon. They had dealt with their wounds and were about to sleep it all off when Gina got a reading that there was yet ANOTHER strong magic nearby. A strong trace like either a Scout, Goddess, Lucifer or Scott. She didn't remember if Scott had gotten away or not. All she remembered was Michael. His stunningly dark grey-green eyes sparkling with anger when he ordered her to leave, his brown hair gelled in the popular spikey fashion, the blue short-sleeve shirt that fitted him so_well_. She sighed and turned, to lean the small of her back on the railing, and ease her elbows on it as well. She remembered Rini's friend, too. She was a Lucifer. The Lucifer she took out. The one she killed. The high-school girl that was now dead.

Dead- because of her.

She pulled out the stick that changed her. The thing that transformed her into that murderer. She gripped it. It was her destiny, and it was too cut-throat now. It was them or her, and she didn't want to die again. Her knuckles turned white and she smiled. She'd fight to avenge michael. If she didn't have a purpose, what good was it? Before it was for her parents- now it was her dead boyfriend. Her dead ex. It was still for her parents- to make them proud. No daughter of Heero's could die, fail, feel pain for fighting a war. She was a soldier- a fighter who couldn't stop because she didn't wanna fight anymore. No. She'd fight- and she'd fight to win.

Kaze came out and glared at her.

Kaze: I don't like you.

Hope: ^-^ Well, I'm not quite so fond of you either, dearest.

Kaze: Alex told me to leave. Kicked me out. Because of you. You, the little Waress he had his little crush on.

Hope: Can you blame him? My parents were both pretty, and hell! I'm pretty glamorous m'self! ^ ^

Kaze: Sorry. Unlike you- I don't look at women like that.

Hope: No. You go after men with money.

Kaze: I _loved_ Alexandar! With..... all my heart-

Hope: What HEART?!?! You abandoned the Scouts to side with him because you thought he was the winning side- then you came to like his money as well! You crave nothing but power and vengence. You have no right to call yourself one of us!! Haruka was a freak- but she fancied women- you fancy nothing but anything you can profit from!! YOU ONLY CARE FOR YOURSELF!!

Kaze: Never_mention_my MOTHER!!!!!

Hope: Don't mention Alex.

Kaze: I guess we've found our understanding.

Hope: Guess so.

Kaze: Just remember- I'll get Alex. Don't act like you don't care. I know you do. That's some of the reason I want him so badly now. To get what I want, and to spite you. Spite Rei's daughter. *goes inside and closes the door behind her*

Hope: Go on! *turns and gasps in surprise* Erryn-

Erryn: I always wondered- what Michael saw in you. I did. But now I see. I see that you're a lot stronger than I figured. Than I ever imagined. He always liked you. He'd hit me anytime I spoke ill of you. I want you to know that. He did always care. And- he didn't know about the whole me trying to kill you thing. He would've told you, or killed me. *he tried to smile, but fails, to lamely attempt to console her* I just thought you deserved to know-

Hope: Why'd he break up with me?

Erryn: To win her trust. Duo's and the Queen's. The trust of those he had to side with. He hated it.

Hope: He tried to kill us.

Erryn: *shakes his head* Save you- if some half-wit Guard or whatever of Duo's hadn't sensed Alex, and found you like that Mike was gonna take you away, and explain everything, but when he lost his chance he tried to find you- but you went back in time. He couldn't tell you- and so..... *shrugs* All his chances kinda..... dissipitated.

Hope: I see.....

Erryn: *hugs her* I'm glad you're back.

Hope: *surprised* I..... uhm.....

Erryn: *smirks* I get it. *kisses her cheek* Sorry. *releases her* The whole, me trying to kill you thing, right? I hope you can learn to trust me. I really do.

Hope: .... Un......

Erryn: *turns away to go inside*

Hope: ... *jumps to hug him* He protected me!! *begins to cry* He died to protect me, and I couldn't even save myself!!

Erryn: ._O .............. ^-^ *hugs her back* It's okay, shush. Shh...... we'll get 'em in the end.

Hope: You better promise.

Erryn: I promise, Hope. I promise.

Hope: Thanks.... *sniffle* Oneechan.

Erryn: *surprised again* Hai......

Sarie: I'll take guard with Gina and Rini. Then it's Kaze, Cloveress, and Iris. Erryn, Sandy and Hope can go last. Did I forget anyone?

Hope: Nope. Dun think so! *huggles Sandy* We get to sit around and gossip, and share stories and do eachother's nails-

Erryn: Wow. Thanks, Sarie.

Hope: *blinks* .... ^-^ *huggles Erryn* I'll then do YOUR nails, Erryn!!! We can have make-overs and facials-

Erryn: *scrapes her off* ^ ^;;;;;;;; I'll pass.

Hope: *shrugs* Then I guess we'll have to stick to the usual.

Erryn: Usual?

Hope: Tatooes and piercings. I swear to the Gundams, Sandy, if you give me any lip about me piercing your ears-!

Sandy: You're getting NO WHERE near me with pointy objects!!!

Hope: Erryn-

Erryn: Same here.

Hope: *poutingly* You're no fun.

They had to take turns guarding because the magic Gina had found hadn't been confirmed, and was still slinking in the darkness out there. In those woods....

Hope snuggled up next to Erryn. She shared a bed with him because the space was so small, and because she shared a room with him and Kaze. As if she'd sleep with HER. That's the only reason she wasn't on watch with her- because it was after they made the room arrangements (which were chosen by straws, and numbers from one to 100) they had their tiff on the deck. Sarie didn't want the Evil outside to be a minimized problem so she took they problem-to-be and squashed it. She seperated Hope and Kaze as fast as she could. Erryn stroked her hair.

Erryn: *whispering* Do you miss him?

Hope: *also whispering* Who?

Erryn: Alex.

Hope: *quiet* ..... no.

Erryn: You little liar. I know you do. I know you miss him. Otherwise you wouldn't've told little precious over there to not mention him.

Hope: I just want to think about my main enemy, not the Joker that's his Crony. The King is all that matters now. Not the stooge.

Erryn: Nice.

Hope: What?

Erryn: Your lying. It's nice. You're good. Nice and quick. I would definetly believe you if I didn't know you.

Hope: You don't know me.

Erryn: I know you better than you think. If you think you kept everything from us those few years you're wrong. Mom and Dad and I all knew. Everything.

Hope: What everything?

Erryn: The boyfriends, sneaking out, fighting at school, cutting school. We knew about everything you did. Good and bad.

Hope: You know why I minipulated people and guys and trashed one guy to move to another?

Erryn: Not really.

Hope: To find him.

Erryn: Him. Aha. I get it now.

Hope: *sighs* No. I mean..... him. The guy that I saw in the fire. The guy I knew would come. My ....prince, so to say.

Erryn: And did you ever find him?

Hope: *rueful* Yup. About three times.

Erryn: And who was the Prince?

Hope: The only one who fit the part. The only one who could be a Prince.

Erryn: Yea. You don't miss him.

Hope: I don't. I'm telling you. Alex was the Prince. He was Prince Alexandar all along- and I didn't know just how fatal that was. I knew I had to find a Prince, but I thought..... I didn't think that maybe, just maybe, my Prince was an Enemy. It never crossed my mind. I thought he'd be my Tuxedo Mask. But, no. My Tuxedo Mask was there all along.

Erryn: Scott....? He-

Hope: Nope. Mike.

Erryn: Naw. He was never- no. Not him. What about the rest?

Hope: Sneaking out? Simple. Scout Bussiness.

Erryn: Fighting?

Hope: I decided to train. Train on the faces of those who ran their mouths. It irritated me, and I took out my anger.

Erryn: Cutting?

Hope: Scout bussiness.

Erryn: Was it always Scouts?

Hope: ............ No. A few times I left to get away, a few to go to the Shrine, and a few to sneak around with Mike. He was the worst influence. *grins*

Erryn: Shrine? What would possess you to go to an old shrine? None of the shrines within a 30 mile radius of us are up and running.

Hope: Rei's shrine. My shrine. My house.

Erryn: Oh. I'm sorry.

Hope: Forget it.

Alex sat on the bench, looking up at the stars. He stared when Mars winked at him. A small glitter, but it was there. He saw Mars.... He shook his head and looked at the castle. A dark figure was before him. Standing right there. He jumped back, over the bench's back and a laugh filled the air. The cool air that hung without a sound. He looked at them, staring.

Alex: Who..... are you....?

Shadow: I am who you have been seeking. Come. *begins to stride away*

Alex: Wait. Let me see your face.

Shadow: *looks over shoulder* Where's the fun and suspense in that? C'mon, idiot. Don't make me drag you.

Alex: *follows and grabs the hood to the cloak* Who ARE you?!?!?! *jerks and stares* Cloveress....? What....?

Cloveress: Had to ruin it. Moron. Here. *grabs his hand and transports*

Alex: Where....?

Cloveress: You do that a lot, don't you? *smiles* Follow me. *walks up the stairs and goes to a door* Here. This is what I wanted to show you. Come on. *grabs his hand, vanishes and passes through the door with him*

Erryn: Hope-

Hope: *sits beside the window* Sleep. Go to bed, Erryn.

Erryn: I am in bed, Hope. You aren't. You should sleep too. Our watch is gonna be-

Hope: Watch.... *looks at her watch and walks over to Kaze* Kaze. Kaz. Kaz.... *shakes her* Kaz!

Kaze: Alex...... *turns over*

Hope: KAZE WAKE UP, HE HATES YOU, DON'T YOU GET IT?!?!!?!?!?

Kaze: *glares* You know, it's so pleasant to wake up and see you.

Hope: I'm sorry, would you prefer to wake up to Erryn, or Alex?!

Kaze: Erryn??

Hope: Go to your fucking watch, hoe- before you fucking make me fucking hurt you.

Kaze: *stands* Really? I'm sorry, but I fail to see two things-

Hope: Yeah, you chest is rather flat.

Kaze: OH!!! *slaps her* Bitch.

Hope: *slaps her then backhands her* *glares*

Kaze: *glares too* I failed to seehow you'd ever hurt me, and to see how poor Erryn got into this.

Hope: Didn't you know? Erryn has money. LOTS of money. He's been an assasin for years. He's got it all stashed away. I figured, money, single, powerful, handsome. You'd take him. And as for my hurting you... I think you fail to realize it was me and not you to take down that little Lucifer.

Kaze: No. You can have Erryn.

Hope: HE'S MY BROTHER YOU SICK FREAK!!!!

Kaze: Not biologically. You can tell he's thought of it. Look at him. He's been trying to coax you back to bed, hasn't he-?

Hope: You're disgusting.

Kaze: No. I'm stating the obvious.

Hope: Why don't you go to your watch, Kaz.

Kaze: No nicknames, please. *grabs coat and walks out the door*

Hope: What do you WANT, Cloveress?

Cloveress: *unveils* I wanted to come get her- for the....... Watch. That's right. You heard me-

Hope: I don't care anymore. *looks at the window* I don't get it. How could she be a Goddess? She's Evil. Don't you sense it? I hate being associated with her- by gender, power or side. She's a traitor. She betrayed us, betrayed Duo, it's our turn again. If she ever sees Alex again....... And now- she knows too much. Who let her stay? I'm going to kill them ^-^;

Erryn: Me. I let her- because Clover told me she wasn't too bad, and was a good asset. Sorry-

Hope: And, if she ever sees Alex again.... She'll tell him everything. All that she's heard, watched, seen. *looks at Cloveress* Ever.

Cloveress: I heard you.

Hope: Then why do you not register? She'll sense him. I do. I smell him too. You didn't mask his cologne. What are you trying to do? Kill us!?!?

Cloveress: The Lucifers can find us anyway. I didn't give away the location.

Hope: Get him out. *looks back at the window*

Cloveress: He wouldn't betray us-

Hope: He already HAS!!! *turns, glaring* Get him away from me NOW. OUT!!!!

Cloveress: *walks over and hugs her* Hope-

Hope: *breaks away, tears streaming* He didn't save me. He turned his back and LEFT ME TO DIE. I refuse to speak to, see or SENSE him again unless I'm transformed. Get it!? He left me for DEAD.

Cloveress: I thought our problem was the secrets and Kaze.

Hope: *wipes face* They are. That's our delihma....

Cloveress: So, if you saw him now-?

Hope: I'd let Erryn kill him.

Erryn: *stands* Don't tangle me too. I'm not a part of your mess. I'm not an assasin for now. After all this the Scouts are my prey. I can't hunt any Princes. Too messy- too much contraversy. Sorry. *leaves the room*

Hope: *stares after him* He...... *looks at window* Gotcha.

Cloveress: Got....me....?

Hope: Tell Gina I found it. *grins* Anger management. Gota love the enemies. Alex, stick around. I just may get angry with Kaze later. ^-^ Then I can beat on you also! *pulls out stick and winks* Clover, I'm going out alone. Tell the girls on watch I sensed it on the opposite side and get Alex out. The last thing we need is for them to-

Gina: Sense him?

Sarie: Dude! It's Allie!!!! Hey!!! =^.^=

Iris: Venus POWER!!!!!

Gina: Mercury- Power!!!

Rini: By the Magic of the MOON!!!

Sarie: *shrugs* Sorry, Allie- Scouts first, pleasantries later. By the Power of Jupiter!!

Kaze: What's going on!?!?!? *pushes through and hugs Alex, when Cloveress took the invisibility veil off him* Alex-!

Hope: GUYS!!!! Get out!! NOW!!

Peace: No way. He hurt us, too.

Sarie: My parents are dead because of you, kid. I can't forgive that.

Mercury: Yeah. I think it's about time you got what you deserved.

Kaze: *standing before him, between him and the Scouts* Because of Alex they lived the first time! You got a second chance!

Sarie: Then he took them a second time! It was a tease! To make us FEEL safe!!

Peace: He tricked us. He betrayed us. He killed our parents and Hope. For that you will be punished!

Kaze: Please, don't hurt him. Please.

Hope: *puts a hand on Kaze's outstretched arm* They won't attack you, Kaze.

Kaze: No?!? They wouldn't!?!?

Hope: No. Because they think before they act. *looks at scouts* No more loss. Let him go.

Sarie: You're too soft on him!! If we let him go-!!

Hope: If he goes he owes us. If he goes no one dies. If he goes you guys won't become murderers.

Alex: Hope....

Peace: Who cares!?!? He should PAY-!

Hope: YOU ARE DRIVEN BY VENGENCE! I DO NOT WANT YOU TO KILL HIM!! YOU WOULD REGRET IT IN THE MORNING!!!! No one deserves to be a murderer.

Venus: Hope. We understand you still love him, but we can't let an enemy go. We just- can't. You can't save us. He's a murderer, and should be tried as one. They kill murderers. Don't you want your revenge?

Hope: Duo was my dad's best_friend_. Heero's dead, and so is Duo, in a sense. I can't let my father's best friends's spawn be brutally slaughtered. Look at you! Our mothers fought for love and justice! Our fathers fought for peace, and you want to fight for revenge?!?

Peace: Not my dad. He had nothing to do with Peace-

Hope: for Christ's sakes! You, the Goddess of PEACE are saying this!?!?!

Peace: *looks down*

Kaze: *whispers* Thank you...

Hope: *smiles* Sure, Kaz. No problem.

Alex: Hope-

Hope: And now- I am going to go tackle the enemy I sensed outside! Excuse me! ^-^ By the Warfire of Mars!!!!! *trasforms* *winks* Ja. *portal appears and she jumps through it*

Alex: Girls-

Girls: *disspell* Get out.

Sarie: Allie-chan, you live for now. Don't push us. Go now.

Kaze: I'll take him back.

Rini: Will you stay, or return.

Kaze: I think I'll stay-

Cloveress: Fine.

Kaze: With you guys. If you don't mind. I'd really like Sandy to help train me a little more.

Alex: I'm glad you have your home. Glad you have them.

Kaze: You're happy..... for me....?

Alex: I told you to go here, didn't I? I wanted you to be happy.

Kaze: Thank you, Alex-san.

Iris: Who brought you?

Cloveress: I did. I wanted him to know that-

Iris: That if he bothered us ever again Hope would be pushed out of the way and you'd DIE, Alex? Did you need to come here to know that!?

Cloveress: I wanted him to know that he should stop worrying. He's been so worried-

Iris: You took away our edge. They think she's DEAD. Now they'll know the Waress is back.

Waress: *takes a running leap to grab him* You-

Man: ^-^ You attcked me nonetheless, little Goddess.

Waress: *jumps up to lace her arms around his neck, and wrap her legs around his waist* You're alive.

Michael: So're you. *puts his arms around her*

Waress: I guess so. *smiles while burying her face into his shoulder* Weird, huh? Accusing eachother of being alive.

Michael: It wasn't easy finding you. ¬_<

Hope: How did you? ^ ^;;;;;;

Michael: I followed the beautiful aftermath magic of my beauty.

Hope: Really? ^ ^

Michael: Yup. So, where's Iris at?

Hope: You jerk.

Duo: I NEED A NEW SEER!!!!!

Guard: Seer? Oh! Yeah. The other one ran away...... Seers are SO difficult to find, Sir. They See you're coming and run away.

Guard: Yessir.

Duo: In fact, go fetch Alex. Now.

Guard: Yessir. *bows and strides out*

Duo: Relena?

Relena: I don't like you using our son as your pet.

Duo: He's a Seer, and a good one. We can use him. It's about time he did something other than mope aound.

Relena: I guess.....

Dream Sequence: Flashback, a Memory of Erryn's

Hope came inside, ranting about their cousin Alex. But when he came downstairs Barry knew better. He looked at Alex, muttering about that he hated company, and hated the name Alex, and knew there was no cousin Alex. When he SAW Alex- his jaw dropped.

Barry: Alex!

Alex: Err- O.O

Barry: Uhm..... I'm going to go get some wood, for the fire. Be right back! *goes outside, and only barely hears Alex say that he'd help and the door close* Alex, what the hell're you doing here?!?! And my name is Barry. Here I am Barry.

Alex: Okay..... Barry. I'm Duo's son, and I went looking for Gundam Pilots, to find out that they're all dead. They all had daughters, and Hope is Heero's and Rei's daughter.

Barry: Heero.... Yuy....?

Alex: Yup. The very one. She told me she'd set things up here, and then I can go see her friend Iris about Gundams. You know how I always wanted to be a Pilot.

Barry: Does she know you're a Prince?

Alex: No.

Barry: Does she know about ME....?

Alex: Nope.

Barry: Does she know-

Alex: When she said it was her fake family.... I had no idea. She's not really their kid, you're not really their kid, they're not really happy. It's all so, so fake.

Barry: Not.... happy?

Alex: They love Hope, but she's a free spirit. They know she ran away, snuck out, but they went along with it, thinking she ran into me on the way.

Barry: Yeah.....

Alex: What do we do?

Barry: Well, we can certainly act like cousins- we're already friends. We know eachother.

Alex: Right. Hope-?

Barry: We can't tell her I really know you. We can't talk about home or business- we have to act like we're part of this family.

Alex: Aren't you?

Barry: No. I'll never be. I'm Mariemaia's kid, not theirs.
