Chap3: Room for rent!

~ 1 week after Darien has left ~

" Really?!" Mina stated as she was talking with her friend Ami through the phone," What is his na---"

The phone went dead, no sound was heard.

" What the?!" Mina exclaimed as she held the phone infront of her," This is just great! This is the second time this week!"

She set the phone down harshly on its receiver. She stormed to Serena's bedroom and knocked furiously on the girls bedroom door.

" Serena! Didn't you pay the phone bill?!" Mina shouted while knocking furiously," I was talking to Amy and I just found out that she has a boyfriend!"

" What?!" The door behind Mina opened and out came Serena in a robe with her hair up held with a towel as she soaked the floor with water and some soap foams.

Mina nodded," And I didn't get to receive his name because the phone went dead!"

Serena looked down and stared at her foot as she played foot war.

" Well I used the money to buy food because you didn't buy any and I really needed to eat and so did you two," Serena retorted.

" Yeah but still!" Mina replied," You still should have told me, anyways just get it paid okay? Because I want to know that boys name and I don't want to end up using the school's phone again,"

Serena giggled at the memory of Mina using the phone in their schools front office to talk to her boyfriend… Well ex-boyfriend anyway. After Mina hearing a girls voice on the other side she screamed like hell and flamed him so much that could have rivaled the flames in hell.

' What an answer she gave the secretary,' thought Serena.

" Serena! Pay them okay?!" Mina squealed; Serena, being drawn bak to reality, nodded and charged back into the bathroom without a single word.

Mina left the hallway with a sigh and made her way down the stairs, ' Serena, Serena, Serena,' she thought as she shook her head.

Mina jumped up as she heard a deathly scream echo through the house. Landing ungracefully on her ass on the floor.

The cries kept coming and coming.

' Serena!' thought Mina worriedly as she stood up from her position and charge at the bathroom to see if Serena was okay. Stopping here and there to ease the pain that came from her bruised ass.

Rae walked up to the house she and her friends were living in and took out her keys to the door. A deafening scream

coming from the house sent her back falling to her back.

" Ouch!" Rae mumbled as she rubbed her head," OH MY GOD! SERENA!"

With that Rae searched frantically for her keys that she had dropped. Finding it she stuck the key through the key whole and twisted it, causing the door to open for her and charged to where the scream originated after -practically- whipping the door close.

" Serena! Serena! Are you OK?" Mina exclaimed as she tried to open the door.

" Mina!*crash*I can't see!*wince*It hurts sooooo much!*sob*" Serena answered back crying with pain.

" Serena! Back up!" Rae exclaimed, pushing Mina out of the way as she prepared herself to make an attack on the door," I'm going to kick the door!"

A couple of minutes later Rae kicked the door, making it slam against the wal and swing back furiously but not locking it.

Serena squealed at the sound that was made. Rae charged in and found Serena with her eyes closed wearing a robe still with soapsuds on her face and eyes.

" Rae! I can't see! It hurts!" Serena exclaimed," The water isn't running at all!"

Rae picked Serena up and charged out the bathroom and made her way to the living room downstairs, with Mina right behind her.

" Get the water bottle out of the fridge!" Rae exclaimed as she set Serena down on the couch; nodding, Mina ran in the kitchen and ran back out of it with a water bottle in hand.

Handing it to Rae, Rae opened it and splashed the cold water on Serena's face making her shiver and wince at the coldness.

Serena wiping it with her robe she opened her eyes with tears.

" Thanks you guys!" With that Serena hugged her friends and they hugged her back.

" You know I can't stand this anymore!" Mina announced as she pulled away from the hug.

Rae and Serena nodded in agreement.

" I don't want to be in the bathroom to find out that there are no more water and the lights go out," Serena declared.

" And I don't want to have to end up sleeping in such a hot atmosphere in the room because the electricity is cut off," Rae put in.

" And I don't want to end up getting cut off while I'm on the phone," Mina voiced in.

All of them were silent as they thought of a solution to their oh so aggravating life style for the past week.

" I got it!" Serena blurted out. The others were shaken out of their thoughts as they concentrated on listening to Serena's idea.

" Let's borrow money!" Serena exclaimed.

" We can't because we borrowed enough and that won't do any good anyway because we still need to be organized which we are eventually not," Rae asnwered.

Serena frowned at the thought and started thinking again.

" Well we could all take a second job!" Rae stated.

" We can't," Mina retorted," We need to go to school to remember? And a second job will take all our time we have left for homework and projects,"

A tiresome sigh escaped from Serena and Rae' lips. The girls thought again and again.

" All we need to do is to keep ourselves organized," Mina blurted out.

" And the only person who did keep us organized was Darien, Amy and Lita," Serena answered.

" And now we are left with an exrta, unused room," Rae muttered out.

" I finally got it!" Serena exclaimed.

Getting the attention fro the girls she stated," We could have that room for rent!"

" So that that person can keep us organized," Mina chirped in.

" And get money out of the person too!" Rae finished for her.

" Uh huh!" Serena agreed.

" Then that settles it! We are going to have that room rented!" Mina exclaimed.

" But first we need to solve the problem we have right now, so we would be able to get a boarder," Serena announced.

Rae and Mina nodded and the girls then set themselves a mission: Operation new Roommate.

First step: Pay bills and Clean House.
