Doomsday Journey

A/N- It's time for the dragon to come in! -hugs dragon- I think this is going to be my favorite chapter to type…because it involves action, fighting, blood, dragons, etc. I hope you like the chapter as much as I enjoyed typing it.

Disclaimer- I wouldn't be writing a fic with actors and characters if I owned them…I'd be making shows, movies, manga, etc.

Summary- It's fighting dragon time!

Chapter 7

Everyone, but the 2 actors were now standing under a fire breathing dragon, which was, at the moment, flying above them. They all looked frightened and not sure what to do. Kitsune started to run around in circles. Koneko's eyes almost bulged out of her head when she saw the creature flying above them. Ookami and Katsumi exchanged glances while they looked at their weapons. They weren't sure what to use them for. Sesshoumaru turned into his demon form and jumped to attack the dragon, but when he bit the dragon's leg nothing happened, but poor Sesshoumaru being kicked into a pile of dead human bodies. There must have been hundreds. He scurried to his feet and turned back to his human form. Duo wasn't sure what to do since he had left all his belongings back where he came from. Kurama stood there and then got his rose whip out.

"Come here everyone!" Kurama yelled out so everyone could hear him. Everyone ran towards him dodging as many hits from the dragon as possible.

"What is it Kurama?" Kitsune said in a frightened voice.

"We need to work together."

"But we don't know how they work." Katsumi and Ookami said in unison.

"We'll have to figure it out!" Koneko yelled out starting to walk towards the dragon. Koneko held up the bow and took out an arrow. She slid it onto the bow and pulled it back. She then aimed for the dragon, but instead of hitting it as she let go she hit part of a mountain and cracks started to form. The next thing they knew there was an avalanche of rocks coming towards them.

Next Legolas aimed his bow and arrow towards the dragon's wing. Unlike Koneko, he actually managed to hit right on target. He did the same, but aimed to the other wing and again hit it. The dragon hit the ground as it lost control of its wings and hit the ground which shook furiously. Everyone held each other, but soon after tumbled to the ground. They quickly scrambled up to their feet as a string of fire came towards them.

Kitsune managed to sneak past the dragon and towards it's tail. She decided that she would use her sword even if she did mess up. She motioned to Sesshoumaru and he came over to her. She then whispered something to him. Everyone watched as Kitsune climbed onto Sesshoumaru's back and transformed to his demon form. He jumped near the dragon's wing and Kitsune slashed it off its back. She had done the same to the other. The dragon growled in pain and smoke came out its nose right before he shot fire out his mouth again. Before Kitsune could slash the dragon again it turned and hit Sesshoumaru and her into another mountain of rocks. They became unconscious right before a pile of rocks landed on them.

As Ookami decided to give her claws a try Kouga came up next to her, "Let me help."

Together they ran towards the dragon. Kouga took the front and tried beating it. Ookami climbed up the dragon's back as Kouga distracted it and she slowly her claws into the dragon's neck. A low scream came from the dragon as she slid down its back with her claws dug into its skin. There were bloody streaks running down the dragon's back and Ookami's claws were also dripping dragon blood. She then went up to the front of the dragon with Kouga and dug her claws where she thought the claws were. Right when the two started running off the dragon struck them with a surprise shot.

While all this happened Katsumi was pulling the rocks off Sesshoumaru and Kitsune. They were still unconscious. Katsumi turned around and notice everyone but her, Kurama, and Duo who couldn't help much were lying on the ground beaten. Katsumi got up holding both hers and Kitsune weapon. She walked over to Duo and gave him the sword.

"You'll need this." Katsumi said, "This is the plan…I'll try using my sword. I remember something about if I don't pull my sword out of the ground fast enough a huge fire will form on the ground…so I'll try to prevent that from happening. As I'm doing that, Duo, you need to slash its head and a claw off." She paused, "Then Kurama you need to use your rose whip to finish it off. While you do that Duo and I will bring everyone to the layer." Duo and Kurama nodded.

"Legolas," Legolas looked at Katsumi, "Could you help Ookami, Kouga, and Koneko back to the rooms?" He nodded.

Katsumi looked back at the dragon, "Here goes nothing." She closed her eyes and picked the sword up. Next she pushed it into the ground and less then a second later she pulled it out. It was glowing like a fire. She then ran and slashed the dragon countless times. Duo appeared and jumped up slicing the head off. He then slashed the claw off it's limp hand and handed it to Katsumi. Blood that was as dark as night started splashing everywhere; Duo and Katsumi ran over to Sesshoumaru and Kitsune. They helped them up and helped their unconscious friends towards the hole that they had walked through. When Kurama finished the dragon off he helped Duo as Katsumi went to see Naraku with the dragon claw in her hand.

"Katsumi," Beverley Mitchell and George Stults came towards her before she headed to Naraku's, "Are you ok?"

"Everyone got unconscious, except for Kurama, Duo, and me." Katsumi hesitated, "I wish I was the one unconscious, but besides a few scratches everyone should be find soon…I hope."

"George and I will help them recover….you were gone for a long time so we began to worry."

"How long,"

"2 hours."

"Good…we have 46 hours before the world is destroyed."

Katsumi was out of breath when she got to Naraku's room, "Naraku we got the dragon's claw." Naraku once again looked astonished. He never thought this was possible.

Katsumi handed him the dragon's claw, "Before you ask, some of us got unconscious."

"I can see that." Naraku said in a low evil voice.

"What's our next mission?"

"I believe I can't tell you until the others remain consciousness." He hid the smirk that crawled on his face by picking up a book and pretending to read it, "You can leave."

"I DEMAND TO KNOW THE NEXT MISSION!" Katsumi yelled.

"I'm sorry, but I can't." Katsumi was furious and stomped out the room mumbling something.

"He wouldn't tell me!" Katsumi through her arms up in the air. They were in the kitchens getting water for everyone, "No one can know until everyone remains consciousness." She mimicked Naraku, "I can't believe this! It could take days for everyone to recover. He just doesn't want us to get the last sacred item! That's it!"

"Calm down, Katsumi" Kurama said, "They'll remain consciousness soon."

"It's not like I was going to do the next item alone! I was planning on waiting!" She continued rambling on until a bucket of water was dumped on her head.

The 6 that were still conscious walked back to the bedrooms. Kouga went in Ookami's room, Katsumi went in her own room, Kurama and Duo went to Kitsune's room, and Legolas was still in Koneko's room since he had gone to the kitchens earlier. Beverley Mitchell and George Stults went in every room to check on everyone every once in a while.

They all sat in the rooms and waited until their friends were conscious again.

A/N- Sorry to everyone who got unconscious -hides from flames being thrown at her- but I had to make this chapter interesting, right? It turns out that there are only 2 chapters left…Chapter 8 (or 7) and the Epilogue! I hope you all enjoyed the fic, especially this chapter and please R&R!
