Doomsday Journey

A/N- I just finished cleaning the kitchen, except I don't know where the broom is, so I couldn't sweep, but that's ok. Back to the topic, not that we had one, but now that I think of it this fic wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be…but I'm not going to start over or delete it after getting this far. I'm going to finish it and that's final! I think I made it too easy to get to things...but in the last chapter it did get more…intense? I can't find the right word…it's just not very intense because it was easy to find the dragon…and kinda hard getting its claw. I'm starting to ramble again, so I'm going to stop typing the A/N because by the end of the chapter that's all this chapter will be XD…I just realized something! My first 2 fanfics I discontinued and typed them both at once…but now I have almost 5 fanfics and they're all almost done (not including Life or Death?). Maybe I just have to type one fic at a time from now on…also this is the last chapter and next is the epilogue -Shuts up and zips mouth close- XD -----

Disclaimer- I've already talked to much…unless you want me to keep rambling there's no point on typing this…except I already am so I will….I own nothing but myself….not even the dragon…cause that was the dragon on my door even if I forgot to mention the spikes on its back.

Summary- This is the last time I'm talking. Will everyone remain consciousness? If they do, will they get the sacred item before 11:59pm?

Chapter 8

It was midnight and everyone was still unconscious. Katsumi was the only one up and her thoughts about the journey haunted her and wouldn't let her sleep. The thoughts she had had at the beginning of the journey came back to haunt her too.

-Flashback-

Katsumi was in her room looking around. It was an exact replica of her room at home. It had posters of George Stults and Sesshoumaru all over it. It also had a few pictures of her favorite shows on it. The room was painted dark red and there was a stereo on top of her dresser. Next to her dresser was a desk. There was also a small book shelf in front of her bed and next to her bed was a night stand.

I'm not sure about this journey. I don't think anyone is, but if we have to do it to keep Naraku from destroying the world, I guess we'll have too. I don't have a good feeling about this at all what if we never finish? What if we die while we're doing this? I don't want are world to be destroyed don't want anything to happen to anyone. I hope everything turns out good in the end.

-Flashback Ends-

Her thoughts from before hung in her head…those last words didn't seem right anymore…they seemed like they would never happen.

I hope everything turns out good in the end…but I still have that bad feeling except this time it's worse. Something isn't right and I don't think we'll have tine to get the next item…the items got harder and harder to get and after the last one we're not going to have time…what if Koneko, Kitsune, Ookami, Kouga, and Sesshoumaru don't regain consciousness in time?

She couldn't stop thinking about what could happen. Not even in her dreams…or nightmares. Every time she managed to sleep she would wake up and take hours to go back to sleep.

Katsumi groaned and checked the clock. 12:00 was what it read. She scrambled to her feet, got dressed in the empty room, and checked everyone's room to see if they regained consciousness. No one was there so she assumed they were in the kitchens. Still no one was found. She decided to go find Naraku and ask him if he knew where they were. When she was in his room it was already 12:30.

Only 11 hours and…she saw her friends and ran up to them giving each of them a hug.

"I'm so glad you're all ok."

"Me too, now let's get this mission over with!" Koneko said.

"Naraku she's here." Kitsune said.

"Good." He paused, "You have 11 hours, 29 minutes, and 45 seconds before this world is destroyed." He pointed to the large timer above them and was holding the remote with the red button, "At exactly 11:59 I'll be pressing this button." He smirked in delight.

"Just tell us the mission for the last sacred item!" Ookami shouted impatiently.

A smirk that could be seen from miles away appeared on Naraku's face and everyone knew that wasn't good, "Steal…the Tetsaiga…away from Inuyasha." He slowly hissed every word he had said. The girls exchanged glances and ran out the door.

"Katsumi, we need to tell you something." Kitsune said.

"What is it?"

"Naraku knew about George Stults, Beverley Mitchell, Sesshoumaru, Kouga, Duo, Kurama, and Legolas…"

"What is he doing with them?" She exclaimed.

"He told us he wasn't sending them back…but…but…" Katsumi could see the look in their eyes.

Are you trying to say…what I think you're trying to say, "Y-you don't mean…" They all nodded, "We can't let them! We have to save them!"

"What about the world?" Koneko said chasing Katsumi who was now running towards her bedroom.

Katsumi stopped, "We'll have time to save the world…we have to save them and make them go back to where they came from…that's the first step to making everything go back to normal, right?" None of them seemed to think this was suck a good idea, not even Katsumi, but they decided to do this…if the world were to be safe nothing would be the same without these characters or actors, so they went along with it.

The group equipped themselves and then ran off towards the dungeons. About 5 minutes later they were all hiding at the sides of the dungeon entrance.

"Katsumi you take the toad. Kitsune, you take the one on the other side of him and I'll take the big guy." She pointed to each guard, "And Ookami you need to get the keys since you're the best sneaker in this room." They all nodded and then started their attack.

Katsumi dug her sword through the ground and pulled it out. She then sliced the toad demon (Jaken) in half and watch the blood splatter to the ground. Meanwhile Kitsune quickly slashed one of the green elves into a million pieces and started to run looking through all the cells to see if any of them held the captured actors and characters. They ran past Koneko who shot one of her arrows straight into his heart. The arrow went right through him and he had exploded. She then started running after her two friends when the abruptly stopped in front of a cell.

"That's them!" Koneko yelled.

"Duo, Kurama," Kitsune shouted to get their attention

"Legolas," Everyone in the cell looked up with a sigh of relief.

"George, Beverley, Sesshoumaru!" Ookami ran over to them and put the keys she had gotten into the lock. The key didn't work. She tried more and more until she got to the last one.

"This has to be it." She said nervously, but it didn't work.

"Ookami spread the poison from your claws into the bars and I'll my sword. Maybe that'll work." Ookami nodded and they did just that. It worked and they managed to make a doorway into the cell and get everyone out.

They started running out of the dungeons when they ran into Naraku, but Ookami and Koneko immediately poisoned him with their weapons. They watched him fall to the ground in pain before running towards the corridors.

"I'll take Sesshoumaru and Kouga to the Corridor I with Ookami." Katsumi said running towards the many corridors.

"I'm going to take Duo and Kurama to their Corridors." Kitsune said running towards Corridor G.

"Alright, I'm going to the library, we'll all meet in my room!" She yelled so they could hear her.

Ookami and Katsumi had just arrived in the Feudal Era and were saying their goodbyes.

"Thanks for helping Sesshoumaru." Katsumi said.

"You too, Kouga," Ookami added, "We couldn't have done it with out you."

"You're welcome." Sesshoumaru and Kouga said in unison, except for the two voices sounded much different. Sesshoumaru's sounded cold and heartless, but Kouga's was caring.

The girls jumped the well and then quickly and ran through the door to Koneko's room, "I still wonder what makes you like Sesshoumaru." Ookami said to Katsumi as they arrived into the room.

Katsumi ignored the question, "We have to steal his Tetsaiga…"

"I know, maybe we should have done it while we were there."

"No, Ookami…we shouldn't do it at all. What if this changes everything in the world?" Ookami looked as though she was thinking.

Kitsune had just said her goodbyes to Kurama and Duo and started running for Koneko's room when she ran into someone. She had lifted her sword when she heard a familiar voice, "It's only me." Koneko said.

"Oh."

"Legolas is gone. All we need is to get George Stults and Beverley Mitchell back into my room. They ran to her room.

Koneko and Kitsune slammed the door closed and sat next to Katsumi and Ookami.

"Katsumi and I were thinking."

"About what," Koneko asked.

"We can't steal the Tetsaiga…that would change the entire Inuyasha show." Katsumi answered, "Naraku won't give it back."

"Well, we'll have to." Koneko said, "Anyway by the time we get back from the airport we'll have at least 8:15:00 to complete the task."

"Plus we'll need to eat, by the time we get to Corridor I to get the Tetsaiga and try to steal it we'll be fighting with Inuyasha…"

"Unless we go at night," Koneko said, "Besides Inuyasha, everyone will be sleeping and maybe that'll make it easier."

Katsumi and Ookami sighed, "Fine, but only for the world."

They all got up and headed for the airport.

Naraku was lying on the floor in his room. He had crawled from the hall to the room and was now by the speaker. He couldn't believe he was doing this, but he had to get revenge.

He pressed the button and reached Inuyasha, "Hello?" A male voice came up.

"Inuyasha, this is Naraku." He could hear a small growl escape Inuyasha's throat.

"What do you want, bastard?" Inuyasha growled again.

Naraku explained the story to Inuyasha, "So make sure you kill them off."

"Why should I? You're the one that made them."

"But they're the ones doing it.

Katsumi, Kitsune, Koneko, and Ookami, were back to how they were at the beginning. Alone. They only had each other now which made this even harder. They were currently in the taxi on their way back to the layer. They had the taxi drop them off at the closest place to the layer and walked the rest of the way. Then they went into the layer and had something quick from the kitchens.

About 10 minutes later they were in front of the door to go into the Inuyasha world. Koneko glanced up at the clock hovering about them.

"We have 7:59:59 before the world is destroyed." She said.

"Don't we have time to take a break?" Ookami said.

"The last time we took one it took 2 days…" Katsumi responded, "We might as well get it over now." They all started walking through the door and climbed up the well. They looked around for a good 5 minutes before deciding where they would go.

They started walking. It was now dark in the Feudal Era and every minute that had gone past made the sky look even darker. After about 1 hour the girls saw a light shining from a cabin. They ran towards it and looked through the windows. Inuyasha was in it watch Kagome sleeping.

Inuyasha was about to turn the fire from the fireplace out when he heard a few noises outside. He stood up and walked towards and opened it a little bit, when he saw four girls he stood outside and closed the door silently so he wouldn't wake up the others.

"What are you doing here?" He growled at the girls.

"Uh…well…um we're on a mission." Katsumi started.

"You can give us you're Tetsaiga so you can save the world or we'll fight you for it."

Inuyasha stared at them as if they were joking and then laughed, "Keh. I'd like to see you try."

They all glared at them and hesitated as the lifted up their weapons. Before they knew it the girls were all fighting to get Inuyasha's Tetsaiga. Ookami had tried her claws, but it didn't work very well because Inuyasha used his against and then pushed her to the ground. Then Koneko shot every one of her arrows at him, but he managed to dodge them all. Kitsune and Katsumi weren't sure what to do, but exchange glances. Katsumi dug her sword into the ground in full anger and pulled it out. As she started towards Inuyasha she didn't notice that his Tetsaiga was facing her since her anger was so strong all she could see was the fire surrounding it. She missed Inuyasha, but he successfully hit her and she fell to the ground. Her skin was pale and there was a puddle of blood forming under her. Koneko and Ookami ran up to her to see if she was ok, but she was dead. Kitsune was madder than she already was and slashed Inuyasha, but her sword was knocked out of her hand. Kitsune joined her friends as Inuyasha walked behind her, but just then….

BEEEP!

A/N- You should all thank me for typing a third chapter. It took me like 2-3 hours to type this thing. It's at 7 pages so far on Microsoft Word and over 2350 words! My back hurts so much for sitting like this all day….I can't wait to lay down XD. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter…I loved that cliffy. Also I killed myself, because I made everyone unconscious in the earlier chapter, so I thought this was a good way to make everything even, but next is the epilogue…and guess what? They'll be a small surprise waiting there…I also changed the rating cause of the violence I put in the end. R&R please.

I hope you all liked the story and I think this last chapter just made the entire story better than it was. I'll be making another FF with Koneko, Kitsune, Ookami, and Katsumi in it, I just don't know when, so keep an eye open.
