Well anyway this is a sad moment for me because this is the end of my very first 1x2 fic ever. Heero's face turned pale and a look of anxiousness came over him and he looked over at Relena. "What have I done? I thought he was asleep. I didn't realize th--"

Relena smiled at him. "We can fix this Heero " Relena reassured him. "Did you tell him how you felt inside? Did you even try?"

Heero swallowed, too many he times he'd just shut him out and not said much at all to the braided baka, but the more Duo had pushed the issue the more afraid Heero became of his inner feelings and the more he'd questioned himself and who he was.

Within 10 minutes he explained this to the girl and she stood with her arms folded. "Heero Yuy, your own insecurities have built up inside of you, you've softened since the wars, your senses have been dulled slightly. " her tone was sincere in its nature.

"The drugs or the trauma isn't affecting Duo's thinking. He truly loves you or seeing us like this wouldn't have affected him in that way, he was terribly distraught." she finished doing her buttons up on her shirt.

"Let me ask you something Heero, think about it. If you were Duo and you had no idea what the other person you cared about was feeling inside and then you saw him, the one you love with all of your being with someone else... deep down inside how would you feel?"

Heero swallowed, "I would have, I would have died inside. I'd think that there wasn't a hope in hell of being with that person." his voice betrayed him and he sighed heavily. "I've been a total fool. "

Relena smiled and handed Heero his clothes. "Exactly. Now get dressed. "

Heero glanced up at Relena as he got dressed. "You know how that feels don't you, because you knew Duo loved me and you knew that if I felt the same way back then you'd not stand a chance?"

Relena turned to face him. "I knew the minute you left for that mission that I don't stand a chance. I used to watch the way you looked at him Heero, you've been denying your feelings for a long time." she sighed.

"Relena!" Heero stood stunned as the girl turned with out another word and left. "But you, you showed me the same love just then..." he whimpered to himself thinking about the sacrifice she'd made to help him.

Finally! Yes, finally he understood how Duo felt. He could see it in Relena's eyes as she left.

He stood to his full height, walking out of the spare room and towards the sound of crunching glass and the front door closing.

He sighed there was nothing else he could do now but clean up the glass and wait. Hopefully the baka would return home.

"No time to explain I have to hurry." She switched her phone off and watched as the figure disappeared down into the Subway.

She pulled the car over, parking it as fast as she could and got out, rushing across the street, avoiding traffic as best she could.

Slowly she took a deep breath, letting it out slowly and walked up to him.
