Where to d/l: Kaaza!!!

Extras: I LOVE that song! ^____^;

A jingling of noise interrupted the consistent tapping of the laptop. Heero paused for a while, fingers hovered the slick, black keyboard, waiting patiently for the noises to continue.

"Yo Hee… Ahh...Erm…Ouch!"

<the motion of imprisonment in a bed of glass

that is first broken by the fumbling of a lady

a loose collection of feathers with a tail of soliday

that almost screams the innocence desired at night>

Heero gave a smirk. The baka was still a baka outside mission perimeters. With that, Heero returned his focus to this laptop, typing away commands on the artificial intelligence as he attempted to upgrade his computer. He had written a letter to Lady Une to request for a change of post in the Preventors and was waiting for a reply. He had specifically asked Lady Une to place him in the L2 department, and knowing Lady Une, Heero was sure that his `request' would be approved. After all, Lady Une had hounded him for months now, trying to get him to join the Preventors.

"Yo Hee chan! Tadaima!"

Heero continued typing at this laptop.

"Heee chan!!!!! Tadaima!" Duo whined, non-pulsed at Heero's obvious lack of reaction. He took of his jacket, threw it to one side and wrapped his arms around Heero's shoulders.

Heero felt the extra weight of the arms. It was comforting to him, if not a little sweet. Duo's skin felt a little cool from being out. It was cold outside, and Duo, as usual, wore only his jacket. Sighing inwardly, Heero wondered of Duo did it on purpose so that he could pretend to be cold and proceed to wrap himself on him. Didn't that baka know that he could have very well caught a cold? And Heero would have gladly allowed Duo to hug him, even when he is warm.

<dancing through freedom and lies in the mood of depression

fragile puzzle pieces that break away from this course>

Duo leaned closer to Heero, breathing softly at his ear as he whispered huskily, "Tadaimia…"

Heero shivered slightly at the voice, the warm breath tickling his ear, and at the same time, making his skin tingle. Heero paused for a moment, his mind and heart debating on how to reply Duo. His heart told him to go ahead and smooch the breath out of Duo, but his mind told him to go slow and just greet Duo… nicely.

Finally, Heero decided to turn his head over to greet Duo… nicely, with a peck on the cheeks. Expecting Duo to be at his side, he turned over, his lips ready to give his love a kiss on the cheeks to welcome him home. Unfortunately, he did not expect Duo to move forward, and turning his head to him to ask something.

<Kiss shining, we're kissing in my eyes

Melting away even the flower petals in our way

Make me shining, changing into the most exciting colors

That first shone in a vision>

Their lips met clumsily, just a soft contact. Yet the feeling was electrifying. Heero stared into Duo's shocked violets, and decided that he liked the kiss very much. Well, it wasn't exactly something sexual in that kiss… right? So, Heero had no problem with kissing Duo.

"Heero?"

Duo's soft voice filtered through his brain. He sounded surprised, disbelieving, yet at the same time, happy. Their fingers reached out simultaneously to touch their lips. As cobalt gaze into violet, Heero felt something akin to happiness surge through him. He liked the kiss.

Without warning, Heero leaned forward to kiss Duo again, just like the last time. But this was not incident. A soft touch of lips against lips. Then he felt Duo kissing him back, his tongue running teasing over his lower lip, asking silently for entry. Heero parted his lips, not sure of what to do, but willing to follow Duo's lead.

<the field of view excels the dimension of panorama

a perfect mimesis that can only tremble

a cheap touch whose reaction is to look for secrets

you want to see them even if they are coldly obscene>

Heero tilted back his head as Duo increased the pressure on his lips. A tongue had slipped into his mouth, gently tracing the roof of his mouth while Duo sucked his breath away. Duo's hand was supporting his head, the other caressing his cheek softly. He moaned a little into Duo's mouth as his hand rise up unknowingly to clutch at Duo's shirt. He had no idea when Duo had moved in front of him. All he knew was that he needed more of that kiss, more of Duo.

"Hm…Duo..."

Heero murmured, a little dazed after Duo lifted his lips from his. He was still dizzy over how the kiss felt, sweet, loving, comforting and at the same time, electrifying. It took his breath away. He looked at Duo, looking a little dazed as well. `Well.' Heero thought, noting smugly that Duo's lips looked a little pink, ` at least I am not the only one affected.'

<a sea of gushing pleasure that alters the colors of the rainbow

that strikes into this world adding shadows to the fringed game>

"Hee chan…"

Duo trailed off, his face blushing as he tried to turn away. Heero wouldn't let him. He caught hold of Duo's chin, forcing him to look into his eyes, before kissing Duo again, this time, properly. He copied Duo, letting his tongue slipping into Duo's mouth. Their tongues twined lovingly with each other, each trying to tease and fight each other. The kiss ended with Heero kissing the side of Duo's mouth tenderly, and then he backed off. Looking intensely into Duo's eyes, Heero caught hold of Duo's braid, using the feathery tip to tickle Duo's chin.

"Okaeri."

<Kiss shining, imitating loneliness

Cutting into space with entwined regret

Make me shining, fragments of my scattered heart

A radiance that surpasses hope>

He gave Duo a tiny smile, and watched contentedly when Duo returned it with a wide, happy grin, then proceed to list off everything he had done at work that day.

`Hn. Noisy as ever.'

But this time, Heero did nothing to stop Duo from rambling. He had missed the chatty baka for too long.

-------------------- later… near dinner time --------------------

"Ne, Hee chan."

"Hn?"

" I think we need to eat out tonight. There isn't much in the refrigerator `cause I don't cook that much."

"Hn."

"Maybe we should try that new restaurant at the last junction. It's called… Hmm... Something in Chinese… or was that Japanese? Ahh… Those kanta kan whatever really look alike ya know! And Wufei had been trying to teach me Chinese. Got me all confused!"

"Hn…"

"Ahh! I've remembered it! It's Wen Wan Jiu Luo. Ermm… Chinese I think…"

"Hn."

"Sooo… what do you think? Chinese food tonight?"

"Hn."

"Oh come on Hee chan, say something other than `hn.', `HN!' and hnnn…', it's getting boring ya know!"

Heero smirked. He knew that always annoyed that baka. It had been a long time since he did that. He never did it with anyone else, other than Duo. It was fun to see the annoyed expression on Duo's face, lips pouting and eyes sparkling while his eyebrows twitched incessantly. Needless to say, Heero was amused.

"Hn."

He said it one more time, just to see Duo pout some more, his lips trembling, eyes watering. Of course, that's just Duo's puppy eye look. Heero could not withstand the onslaught of the look, and he knew Duo knew it.

Heero shut down his laptop, shutting the platinum lid with a soft `click'. He got up, pushed the chair back in, and walked towards Duo, who was still pouting. As he walked past Duo, he caught his braid and gently tugged the brown rope of hair. Duo turned towards him. Heero lifted his jacket off the hanger and put it on Duo. Then he took a step back, taking a look over at Duo.

"You should really wear more when you go out. It's cold, and you've just recovered."

Duo grinned, all evidence of watering eyes and quivering lips gone.

"Aww… Hee chan worried for me?"

<Red soaked fingertips dye the atmosphere with fluttering butterfly tears

And all is turned to sand... Shining, make you cry>

Heero walked towards the jacket that had been thrown down by Duo when he came back. Fingering the worn denim, Heero realized that the jacket was his present to Duo when the war ended. He remembered the ecstatic look Duo had on his face when he unwrapped his present. It was the first time he ever celebrated Christmas, the first time he ever bought a present for anyone. He would never forget the sparkle of tears in Duo's eyes as he pounced on him, hugging him so tightly that he almost couldn't breath. Duo's words of thanks had been a little muffled as well, and when he pulled back, Heero swore he remembered seeing a wet sheen over those violet orbs…

<Kiss shining, we're kissing in my eyes

Melting away even the flower petals in our way

Kill me shining, changing into the most exciting colors

That first shone in a vision>

Heero's heart softened at the memory. The jacket was too thin to be worn in cold weather. They had been staying in Singapore that Christmas, partially because Duo said he had never travelled to Singapore before. It was Wufei who had destroyed the Oz base there. So Heero went along, dragged by Duo, who was talking non-stop about how curious he was to find out how they celebrate Christmas in a tropical country.

And so they travelled around Singapore. Duo was fascinated by the magnificent Christmas decorations at the heart of the city. He was grinning all the while as he pulled Heero down the streets, pointing at the tall Christmas trees which were lit brightly with ornaments and dancing gleefully under the artificial snow while singing Christmas carols.

<Please don't cryin', imitating loneliness

Cutting into space with entwined regret>

Heero was slightly mortified that Duo had been wearing this jacket all this while. No wonder he got himself sick. Even a Gundam pilot could only take this much. Heero decided to buy Duo another jacket as soon as possible, and this time, a much warmer one.

He shrugged on the jacket, not really bothered by the cold. He was used to it. Space was cold, and if wearing a tank top and spandex had not bothered him during the war, why should the cold bother him now? Duo always wore his priest overalls, Trowa, his turtleneck and Quatre, his long sleeved shirt and jacket. Only Wufei wore a tank top, like him, but he had worn long pants.

<Make me shining, fragments of my scattered heart

A radiance that surpasses hope>

Duo was waiting for him, hugging his jacket close to himself. Heero gave Duo a slight smile, and striding quickly over to Duo, he spoke softly.

"Lets go."

He gave Duo a tiny peck on the lips before tugging the chestnut braid, getting the hyper boy out of the apartment to have dinner.

Neither of them realized the series of tiny clicks at the end of the corridor, or the man hidden in the shadows, tailing after them.
