Notes: 1 of a 4 songfic set. I originally wrote all 4 together then over time I added 2 more but I've decided to only post the original 4 songfics. This is the only fics I've ever written that has been Relena-bashing but if you need to read all 4 to really get the whole story.

Relena slid to the floor, hugging her knees. She couldn't stop the tears, even though she knew the news was coming. "Why Heero, why? Why couldn't you have told me that you loved Duo all along? Why did you have to lead me on?", Relena yelled to the air surrounding her in the bathroom.
Relena started to cry, she was broken mentally.

She had loved him from the day she met him, even though he had threatened to kill her. Her love grew for him as the war continued, even though he never seemed to acknowledge her existence. After he disappeared after blasting Libra, Relena started to lose her feelings for Heero, but when he reappeared, her love flamed anew. Everyone told her to give him up, but Relena could never force herself to. The day he asked her to marry him was the best day of her life. But she never wondered why Duo was around so much, she never suspected her Heero could be having an affair with him.

Relena started to cry harder as the images of the past year started to run through her head. Heero and Duo always together, Heero finding reasons to go off with Duo, she even remembered the time she had found them kissing, but she pushed it to the back of her head. It took a note from the Heero, saying that he was leaving her for Relena to finally see the light.

Relena asked herself, "What do I do now? I'm nothing without Heero, nothing."
People would argue that, telling her that she was the Dove of Peace, that people's lives, that the government depended on her. Yet, Relena said, "I gave Heero my life, my heart, a child, but he's gone."
All her life she breathed for him, but he had played with her heart and was now gone.

Seeing a razor blade over by the sink, Relena reached for it. Tears blinded her again as she remembered it was one of Heero's, Heero who shaved because of tradition, not because he wanted to. Relena whispered, "I gave everything to you, and you abused it. You brought me to this.", as she slit her wrists.
Crying to the bitter end, Relena died, never knowing that her 4-year-old son was watching her throughout.

"Aunt Noin, Aunt Noin!", the 4-year-old cried.
"Yes Ryu?", Noin asked, picking up her only nephew.
The child said nothing, just pointing to the closed bathroom. Noin stepped in, surprised and appalled at the sight. After ushering the child out of the room, Noin kneeled next to the dead Relena, surrounded by pools of blood. Making sure that she was dead, Noin whispered, "How could you Relena, how could you let him drive you to this point?", as she started to cry and wait for Zechs.
