Author's note: Thank you soooo much for the reviews! It helps to encourage me to write the rest of the fic! Thanks!
I'm NOT a professional writer, I never said I was. I just do this for fun and I am trying my best to keep this story
and the characters interesting.

**Another thing, I am NOT a Nazi person or whatever. I'm just using that stuff for my fic.

**Chapter 2**

It was now 2:00 in the morning, Middie grimaced in frustration and exhaustion as she finally turned off her
laptop. Researching on how a nuclear weapon was built was more difficult than she had thought. There were so many
details she needed to know and remember in order to pass for an expert on handling nuclear materials.

Middie sighed and climbed into bed, she was tired but she couldn't fall asleep. Sleep eluded her as she
tried to keep her eyes closed, but images of President Victor Frackenburg's cold eyes appeared like a flash of
lightning. She remembered the warning he gave her and Middie trembled with revulsion. The look he gave her as
he was warning her was that of lust and possession. She knew instinctively taht if she wasn't careful, not only would
he possess her, but literally destroy her soul as well.

Middie groaned and rubbed her eyes as she slowly reached for her dairy. Her diary was one of her
most prized possessions for it held her innermost thoughts and feelings, but it was much more than that for each
diary also held five years of accurate details of her past missions that would get most powerful men in serious trouble.
The diary she had now was her third one, the first and second were stored and locked away in a safe down in the
basement. Middie's eyes softened as she turned the dial on the combination lock, her diaries had helped ease the
pain and guilt that came with being a spy. Every time she wrote in her diaries, she felt like she was "talking" with
Nanashi, for she had gotten her first one right after he had left her when she was 10.

Middie stiffled a yawn as she started to write:

~~May 17, a.c. 200

"Dearest Nanashi, I am writing again for I am about to start on yet another mission. I got a strange feeling
that this is going to be one of the most dangerous and important yet. I even get the feeling that I shouldn't complete
this mission, but I have to. The money will be of good use to me for I plan to use it to pay for my education as well
as expenses and that of my brothers as well. I estimate that the money from this mission will sustain my family for at
least four years, if it is invested wisely.

After four years, I should be done with my education and on my way to becoming a decent private
investigator. I want an honest job for a change. But my plans for the money doesn't help eliviate my feeling that
I'm about to commit a big mistake. What I don't understand is why I should have this feeling at all.

I have seen images in the media that President Victor Frackenburg is a good and honest man. There is
evidence that he has done good things for his people. But I also know that images can be deceiving for I have
heard rumors from fellow spies that Victor Frackenburg holds supremacist views that involve "his" people which
consequently fuel his lust for power. Of course, those were just rumors and I could be wrong about my reasons
for hating Victor Frackenburg, but I still can't help hating the swine for the way he looked at me.

The only thing that makes me feel better about this whole mess is that this SHOULD be my last mission
as a spy. This makes me anxious to begin and finish this assignment as soon as possible. Perhaps in that way, I may
be able to live the rest of my life in peace. If that is even possible at all, concerning on what I have done in the past.~~

With that last sentence, Middie finished writing on her diary. She was planning to start her mission later
that morning and she needed her rest. When Middie felt her eyes close, she decided to go to the front desk and
hide her diary and the folder containing information of her mission in any case that she should get in trouble. Actually
she always took this precaution whenever she took on a high profile spy mission. She always made sure that the front
desk of every hotel that she stayed in had individual safe boxes where people could hide important valuables.

Trowa stopped the truck and got out, they had finally made it to Germany around 6:30 in the morning.
Trowa heard his fellow circus workers get out of their own vehicles, preparing to set up the circus tents, animal cages,
and various other stands as well, he estimated that they whould be done by the late afternoon. That gave the circus
performers plenty of time to practice and touch up their acts for the evening performance.

Trowa walked over to the animal trailers and immediately checked if each of the animals made it safely
through the journey as well as to give them their morning feeding. He loved taking care of the animals and deeply
enjoyed the bond of love and understanding that he felt whenever he was around them. His bond with the circus
animals enabled him to perform daring and often dangerous tricks with them. That in itself, along with his part in
Catherine's knife throwing act made him a very valuable and respected circus performer. Trowa knew that he was
very popular with the audience, especially the ladies whom never hesitated to let him know what they wanted from
him, rarely did he take them up on that offer however. What really brought pleasure to him was seeing the childrens'
happy faces whenever he made them balloon animals or performed magic tricks for them.

"Hey Trowa!" shouted Richard, a fellow circus clown performer, "Would you help us set up this tent?"

"Sure, I'll be right there." answered Trowa, shaking his head out of his previous thoughts. He knew he
was going to be heavily occupied for the next couple of hours, but that's the way he liked working with the circus
workers who had slowly become like family to him.

"Hello, I'm your new assistant Elsa Ewell." said Middie Une, "I understand that you are in need of some
assitance concerning the radioactive materials of the hydrogen bomb."

"That's correct Ms. Ewell, I'm the head scientist Dr. Urich Himler here at the Hidenburg base. I have taken
a look at your qualifications and I must say that I am very impressed."

"Thank you, I pride myself in helping top scientists build their nuclear toys. As you must already know,
I prefer to work in secret. That is the only way that I can work at my very best. In return for this favor, I will keep
your building of the hydrogen bomb our little secret. I have always done this with every scientist that I have worked for."

"That can be arranged Ms. Ewell. Now if you would allow me to give you a tour of the base and the labs,
the sooner you can start looking at our blueprints."

For the next hour and a half, Dr. Urich Himler gave "Elsa Ewell" a specific tour of the base, equipment rooms, and
labs. Unbeknownst to Dr. Himler, Middie had a silver pen pinned to her breast pocket of her lab coat that in fact, was a
tiny portable picture and video camera. She was recording everything and anything that Dr. Himler was saying about the
base and various other weapons of destruction that were secretly being built.

"Hmmm, it's surprising that the Preventers haven't found out about this place and their tremendous supplies of
nuclear weapons." thought Middie as she was finally shown the labs where she would be "working" at. The labs were spacious
and filled with everytype of modern scientific equipment needed for the building of the hydrogen bomb.

"These labs are well built and furnished. I wonder who is funding the money for your secret project? Am I
privileged enough to know that answer Dr. Himler?" asked Middie.

"I think that it's best for you not to know Ms. Ewell. I cannot be responsible if anything happened to you if you knew
the answer." answered Dr. Himler calmly.

"Is that supposed to be a threat?" asked Middie just as calmly.

"More like a warning?"

"I see." said Middie, "I thank you for giving me a complete tour of the base and labs. I will try to the best of my abilities
in helping you to accomplish your goals. You don't need to worry about this getting out, secrecy is my specialty."

Later that night, Victor Frackenburg called his presidential aide and asked him for an update concerning the hydrogen
bomb.

"Did she already infiltrate the base?" asked Victor.

"Yes sir." answered Frederick, "I estimate that our young spy should have what we need within one or two days."

"That's good news to hear. Once I have the blueprints, my master plan will come into motion. My people and I
have waited for centuries for this moment to arrive. The diseaster of World War II destroyed Nazi power, but with me
possessing a highly dangerous weapon, I sincerely believe that we will be on our way to power. We just need an upper hand
on weapon supplies, the buildup of a large army, and a formidable group of top spies to accomplish that goal."

"That is a highly risky ambition sir, but won't we require a high amount of secrecy to get all those things you desire?
What about that new spy you hired? She could betray us at anytime if she chose to do so."

"That is why it's important that you find out who she really is Frederick. Once I know everything about her, I'll
come to a decision on what to do with her."

"Excuse me sir for being crudely blunt, but are you sexually attracted to agent 101?"

"I think that she would be a great candidate to bear my children. She is everything that a female of the Aryan race
should have. Agent 101 is tall, blond, blue-eyed, and it helps that she is beautiful and slender."

"Sir, what if our background check on her reveals that she is a risk for our ambitions? She will have to be eliminated."

"I guess that will be too bad." answered Victor, a cruel gleam shining in his eyes at that prospect. "Frederick."

"Yes sir?"

"Don't ever question my methods, it can get you in trouble. I know what I am doing. You are my friend and aide, but
I will exact punishment on you if you so much as betray or question my way of doing things."
