****Chapter 1****

"Sir, the lady spy is here to see you." announced Frederick Lechler, the president's aide.

"Good, show her in, I want to see her for myself." replied the president.

"Yes sir."

Frederick walked over to Middie who was waiting patiently outside the president's office. Frederick gave
Middie, known to him as the lady spy or agent 101, a calculating look. The beautiful petite blond looked fragile and innocent,
but a close look into her soft blue eyes told him that there was more to her than what it seemed. Her eyes held a unique
intelligence that gave a hint as tho her experience as one of the best spies the Alliance had ever produced before and during
the Eve War of a.c 195. It was rumored that she had once saved gundam pilot o3 after a fight with the then crazed
gundam pilot o4, but that rumor had never been confirmed by anyone.Frederick narrowed his eyes at Middie and told
her that the president was ready to see her.

"I see that you were able to arrange the meeting after all." said Middie.

"The president was intrigued by your well known resume and our previous meeting at the cafe and he decided
that he wanted to see you for himself." answered Frederick.

"I see." said Middie as she walked into the president's office.

Middie looked up to see that her boss was the well known president Victor Frackenburg of Rosenburg, a
small country just southwest of Germany. She was surprised that Victor Frackenburg would find cause to hire her. What
could he possibly want with a hydrogen bomb?

"I see by your expression that you know who I am." commented the president.

"Yes, I know who you are." answered Middie. "Why do you require my services?"

"Ah, right to the point. I like that in a person." said the president with approval and a hint of admiration.

Middie whivered with repulsion of the man. Victor Frackenburg was a tall, handsome man of 30 yrs of age
with a powerful build for a politician. He had dark auborn hair with a slightly tanned complexion, but what was more
startling was the color of his eyes, they were ice blue. It gave him a cruel menacing air. Middie had hated him on
sight the first time she had ever seen him on television.

"As you know, I want the blueprints of the hydrogen bomb that is secretly being built in Hidenburg base in the
city of Berlin. The base is heavily guarded and my aide has acquired some information on how to infiltrate the base."
said Victor Frackenburg, handing Middie a piece of paper.

"Hmm, the scientists are looking for an assistant, a fairly good expert on handling radioactive materials and a
pension for keeping secrets." read Middie. Middie looked up at President Frackenburg with a grim but alert look.
"With some research, I know that I can pull this off, but there is something that I must know."

"And what is that?" asked President Frackenburg.

"Why do you want the blueprints to the hydrogen bomb?"

Victor smiled at her, "You see, my office had been swamped with threats of a nuclear strike against my country
for my part in keeping the peace. The terrorists see that my country of Rosenburg has risen in prestige and power,
consequently......they want to possess my country as a stepping stone for even greater power and the eventuall
destruction of the Earth's Sphere Unified Nation."

"Your country is just one of many who has recently risen to power. Why would terrorists target Rosenburg?
Why not the other countries?" asked Middie, skepticism riding in her tone of voice.

Victor frowned slightly and then quickly got up from his chair, "I have proof."

The president of Rosenburg walked over to his file cabinet and took out a thick folder. He walked over to
Middie, known to him also as only agent 101 and handed her the thick folder. "The folder contains letters and phone
transcripts that will prove that I am telling you the truth. I don't know why Rosenburg was chosen, but it happened and I
must have those blueprints in order to take down those terrorists."

"If you have problems with terrorists, why don't you ask the Preventers for help. I'm sure they will be willing
to help you."

"I want to keep the matter quiet."

"But why do you want to use a highly dangerous weapon against the terrorists? I think that the building of
another hydorgen bomb will cause more problems for you, of course not to mention the risk of killing a lot of innocent
people."

Victor gave her a cold smile, "Oh don't worry about that. I already thought of a way to solve that problem.
All you have to do is get me those blueprints."

"Very well." said Middie, getting up from her chair, "I'll get on this assignment right away. All that I require
right now is a day or two of preperation and research and I will be on my way to Hidenburg base."

"Good, I wish you the best of luck." said Victor, "Oh and one more thing, I warn you to trust no one. No
one can be trusted in the business of espionage."

Middie narrowed her eyes at President Victor Frackenburg, she didn't like him, Middie could sense the young
president looking her over from head to toe. It was all she could do to stop herself from decking him. "I will take note
of that." Middie answered as she closed the door.

Half an hour after Middie left, Victor Frackenburg called over his assistant Frederick. "Frederick, I want you
and my best top detective to keep an eye on agent 101. I got a suspicion that she might be on to us, as soon as she
gets those blueprints, I want you and my loyal honored guards to sieze agent 101. I want her back alive at all costs,
I have plans for the blond beauty."

"Yes sir." answered Frederick.

Trowa patted the lion's head as the circus's crew finished loading up the rest of the animals into their
seperate cages. The circus's next stop of the summer tour was going to be on earth in the country of Germany in the
large city of Berlin. With peace established between the colonies and earth, people were eager to enjoy themselves
and build happy memories by going out to amusement parks or circuses. Business had really picked up for Trowa's
circus troupe, rendering them a good year's pay and security.

"Trowa, are ready to leave?" asked Catherine.

"Yes Cathy, I was just looking after the animals." answered Trowa.

"I should have known that you would be ready. I think that we will do well in Germany. What do you think
little brother?"

"I believe that we will do fine. When are we due to leave?"

"We should leave in a couple of minutes and if everything goes right, we should arrive in Germany by tomorrow
morning."

Trowa gave Catherine a slight smile and nodded. He had a foreboarding feeling about going to Germany
ever since he heard that it was going to be thier next destination. Trowa had a feeling that he was going to encounter
danger there in which he could place no concrete evidence on why he should feel that way.

Just the day before, Trowa had called Quatre and told him about the way he was feeling about going to
Germany. Quatre had told him that it was most likely that he was having some sort of foreboarding premonition on what
was to come.

"If you don't want to go to Germany, why don't you just tell the manager?" asked Quatre.

"That's just it Quatre, along with the feelings of danger and foreboarding, I feel that I will be needed. I don't
why, I just do." answered Trowa.

"If you feel that you are needed then I believe that you should go. Your going to Germany might mean that
you were meant to solve or stop some crisis."

"Thanks Quatre, take care." said Trowa as he hung up the phone.

Trowa sighed as he remembered his conversation with Quatre. He was going to have to be on full alert
during the whole time he was going to stay in Germany. Trowa closed his eyes briefly and an image of a person he thought
of since he was 10 yrs old rushed up to him like a tidal wave. Did it have anything to do with his premonition of going
to Germany?
