camillian: ^^ I am so honored to hear that. I watch a lot of horror movies and I'm very demented in the head (as I'm told) so I work hard to bring the stuff that gets people hooked. Hope you continue to enjoy it!!

Rose Fury: Yes, Heero is always special so he has to interact with the ghost girl. ^^

A/N: Wow, I've been gone far too long from this story, ne? I guess I was in a bit of a slump after losing my flashdrive but I'm better now. ^^....I think.....

Chapter 11

“I love you, Hee…ro.” Odin said, smiling warmly before the screen went blank.
Heero stood off to the side, staring at the now blank screen. What did this all mean? He looked toward J for the answer. All he received was the same lost, shocked look.

J looked in a strange mix of pain, horror, and love as he looked at the broken screen of his laptop. He could still see Odin moving, smiling, and proclaiming his love for his son. However, logic was all to familiar with him. Odin was dead and there was no way he was alive in that short vid feed if the glassy eyed look was anything to go by. Quickly he stood grabbing the laptop, cords and all still intact. "Come on, boy." He barked moving towards the door quickly.

Heero trotted behind the man trying to keep up with his short legs. They paused long enough for the old man to grab their jackets before going into the hallway of the condo.

J stopped again to close and lock his door. He had to discuss this with the other members of the Mad 5. He could just be going crazy. His brain worked in overtime to come up with some kind of explanation of his hallucinations only to come to the same thing, it was real. Unconsciously, he looked back at his condo only to find the door slightly open and one wide hazel eye peaking out. His heart skipped a beat and fear so strong that it bought bile to the back of his throat crept up close.

"Une, you're not making sense." Dorothy stated as she walked briskly through thier kitchen. It was sparkling clean thanks to her constant worry for her lover's mental state of being. "You need a vacation is all." She suggested bending at the waist in front of the stove to remove the casserole inside.

"I'm not making this up, Doro." Une insisted. Her hair was loose around her shoulders and freshlly brushed. Unlike Dorothy's need to clean when worried, her tendencies laid with her hair. She HAD to brush her hair to soothe her nerves. If she didn't the darkened figure sitting at their dining room table would have driven her mad two weeks ago. "Please, you have to listen to me."

Dorothy sat the casserole dish down with a little more force than she intended. She turned frustration clearly on her face. "Une, I am dressed in the little blue nightie you love and you haven't touched me once. You keep going on about some little ghost girl that only you can see. I'm worried okay." As she spoke she made a gesture with her hand towards the table. "I am looking at the place you say she's at and I DON'T see her." She looked back to the darker haired woman shaking her head enough to send her blond tresses over her shoulder. "I want to believe you, Une, I really do."

Une couldn't meet the blue eyed woman's gaze. How pathetically insane did she look? "I...I..I'm going to go take a little shower." She said nodding her head as if to convince herself that she was going to do just that.

Dorothy watched her go bracing her hands on either side of the glass dish holding their dinner. It had been browned to perfection and hadn't fallen. Any other day that would've been her greatest acheivement for the day. But now...it didn't really seem to matter.

"Tsukareta, tsukareta yo."

Dorothy spun quickly at the sound of a child's voice. It echoed chillingly through the seemingly empty kitchen until silence fell once again. Minutes passed with the blonde woman's pulse in her throat. Finally she started to relax laughing lightly to herself. It seemed that Une wasn't the only going crazy. //Maybe they'd get us a padded room together...and matching straight jackets// She joked to herself and moved to set the table. She started to reach into one of the higher cabinets when a cold presence raised goosebumps on the back of her thighs.

"Tsukareta, tsukareta yo."

Slowly, the young officer turned finding the wet figure of a child no older than seven or eight standing before her. "How-how did you get in here?" She asked a little shakily. She turned to face the child fully assessing the girl's status. She was pale and sickly. From the little she could see of her wrists, there were blakened bruises circling them. "Who did that to you?" She questioned moving closer to the girl. She knelt in front of her reach reluctantly to move long black strands of hair from the child's face. The hair was completely soaked through and ice cold to the touch. "We have to get you dried up." She said as she began to stand.

"Tsukareta, tsukareta yo."

"I know, I know, I'll take care of you. Une," Dorothy turned her head so that her voice would project towards the staircase she spoke. She didn't see the little girl eying the pale column of her neck until it was too late. The older woman gasped as the little body lurched towards her. Unconsciously she tucked her chin in and turned her head so they could be face to face. Her eyes widened when she found the child's mouth wide open baring decayed teeth. The mouth closed on her bottom lip biting down to draw blood. Dorothy screamed.

Upstairs, Une turned sharply at the sound of Dorothy's pained screams. She walked quickly out of the room clad only in her jeans and a bra. She took the stairs two at a time rounding the corner to the kitchen in less than two minutes. What she found drew a startled scream from her lips. Along the far wall of the kitchen, scrawled in blood read 'And then there were none' in big letters. Underneath the writing laying in a pool of the blood probably used to write the message was Dorothy. Her hair fell over her face shielding everything except her wide eyes.

Une moved quickly and numbly taking Dorothy into her arms. The woman's head lulled back sending most of the hair sheilding her face out of the way. Une shook with shock and horror at the sight of her lover's face. The lower half of her face had been eaten away leaving her gums and teeth completely exposed. The exposed tissue twitched and fluttered attempting to move pouting lips that weren't there anymore. A sob left the darker haired woman as she struggled to lift the other.

"Du....o...."

Une froze turning her head slowly to the sound of the all too familiar voice. It was coming from the narrow hallway that led to their laundry room. It was unnaturally dark.

"Du....o...."

A pale hand shot out reaching blinding and twisting in the air before slapping down to the floor. It clawed at the tiled floor leaving streaks of blood from the bloodied nails. Another hand shot out clawing and pulling whatever they were attached to out from the darkness. Une didn't wait for it to reveal itself. She stood with newfound strength holding Dorothy close to her. She half ran half walked out of the house as quickly as she could only looking back when she was on her way to the driveway.

Micheal's form lay in the threshold of her house. His bloodied heartshaped face grinned joyously at her. "Du....o" He croaked.

Une felt her stomach lurch with fear as she opened the door to her car. She placed Dorothy into the passenger seat hastily but carefully. She moved quickly around the car jumping into the driver's seat and throwing the car into gear. The silver hovercar hummed to life lifting off the ground only to shudder with the sudden weight of a grown man on the front hood. Une screamed as her eyes identified the man as Odin Lowe. His decaying form attempted to crawl up the front of her car. She pressed the gas sending the body off her hood and the car back into the middle of the street. The hovercar tilted as it was forced to whip around at 85 mph. In a matter of seconds she was on the turnpike that narrowed into a single lane just over a cliff. It was a very dangerous place to speed but Une refused to let up on the speed. All she could think about was the image of Dorothy's face half eaten away and Micheal and Odin's bodies grinning at her.

"Don't worry, Dorothy, I'll take care of you." She said as the road began to narrow. The nearest hospital was just a little bit away. "Just hold on for me, baby." She said letting her right hand drop to Dorothy's limp hand. When she found the limb clammy and wet she froze looking towards her partner. The little looked back face just as damaged as Dorothy's. "No..." She said breathlessly and unbelieving.

Slowly, the girl began to move in the seat so she could crawl into Une's lap. Slowly her form bled back to Dorothy. A tear escaped Une's eye as she stared into the blonde woman's unseeing eyes.

Special News Bulletin:

A silver HoverEx109 was found at the foot of the Turnpike 03 cliff. The body of Dorothy Catoline, a well respected Preventer's Agent, was found inside the car. Her cause of death is being investigated. Officials say that speed was a factor of this accident but are unsure if alcohol was also a cofactor. We'll have more on this investigation soon.

A/N: I don't like writing my chaps in wordpad. It makes them seem so short and I can't tell if I've succeeded in my five page limit. T_T But I don't have Microsoft on my laptop yet. Please review.
