Zechs smiled happily as he snuggled with his wife, Noin. He could feel Noin shift to make herself more comfortable. Then she stilled and her breathing deepened as she fell back asleep. Zechs opened his eyes and looked down at his wife. He tightened his arms around his wife and breathed deeply. He could barely hear the noise his two children made as they watched their morning cartoons.

Noin and him had stayed up late last night reading old mission reports. Une thought there was some connection from recent preventer deaths and a new rebellion. From what he and Noin found, she was right. He frowned when he thought that some people were going to try to start a war again. He didn't want his two children to ever know what war was. He had spent the last four years healing from all the mental stresses he had during the war. He had finally come to terms with Treize's death and with his own betrayal to everyone.

Noin whimpered in pain when he tightened his arms too tightly around her. Zechs immediately loosened his hold. Noin's eyes fluttered and finally opened. She yawned and looked up at Zechs.

"What time is it?"

"A little past noon."

Noin gasped and shot up into a sitting position, "The kids…"

"They're fine. I can hear them watching cartoons in the living room."

"But their breakfast…"

"I'm sure, they can feed themselves. They're not babies anymore."

Noin sighed wistfully, "No they aren't, are they? They've grown up so fast."

"Yes they have."

"Well, we better get up and make sure they aren't causing too much trouble."

Noin yelped as she was pulled back onto the bed with Zechs leaning over her. He smiled mischievously down at her.

"Why don't we stay here and play a little."

"But the kids…"

"Are too busy watching TV…"

Zechs leaned down and kissed her gently on the mouth. As the kiss lengthened it became more passionate until Noin was moaning into the kiss. Zechs hands roamed down her body and were in the process of taking off her night shirt when the door opened.

"Mom? Dad? You up?"

Zechs sighed and slumped down on to Noin. Noin huffed and shoved Zechs to the side and looked at the door. She saw her seven year old daughter, Alexandria, standing there.

"Yes we're up. What do you need Alexie?"

"Martin won't let me play any of his video games."

"I'll be there in a minute, sweetie."

"Okay, mommy."

The seven year old ran out of the room shouting down the hall, "Marty you're going to get it now."

Zechs sighed again and tried to snuggle into Noin but Noin moved out of the way and stood up.

"C'mon Zechs. We need to go talk to your son."

Zechs reached up to her and grabbed her hand. He started to pull her towards the bed, "They can wait a few minutes, I can't."

Noin smirked, "No, honey. We need to go see about your son. You can wait a while."

Zechs grimaced and let go of her hand knowing he lost. He heaved a sigh and stood. Then made his way to the bathroom. Noin smirked behind him, "Besides if we wait it will be a lot more fun."

Zechs turned and smiled from the bathroom door. Noin sauntered over to him and hugged him. She whispered "I love you" into his ear. Then she rubbed up against him. Zechs moaned at the friction she was causing in his groin. But soon the friction was gone and Noin stood on the opposite side of the room giggling.

Zechs frowned then smirked, "Tease. I'll get you for that later."

Noin smiled sweetly, "Promise?"

Before Zechs closed the bathroom door he called to her, "Promise. Noin. Love you."

Then went to take his shower. She smiled and changed into some jeans and a t-shirt. She sighed when she heard her son yell for her.

Later that day, they met Une at Preventer Headquarters. Along with Heero, Wufei, Quatre, Trowa, and Sally. Une stood up at the head of the table, "So what have you got on this new group? Zechs?"

Zechs sat up straighter, "We did some cross referencing with old mission reports and deaths of several Preventers. And we've found this group to be in a number of them. They also seemed to be growing in force but I can't determine by how much."

Une sat back in her chair and steepled her fingers in front of her mouth. She then looked to Heero, "Have you found anything suspicious, Heero?"

Heero shook his head, "No. If they are hiding something they are doing a good job of hiding it."

Trowa sat up straighter in his chair, "Maybe we should have someone on the inside to see what this groups all about."

Une mulled that over then nodded, "That sounds good. Who wants to do it?"

"I'll do it." Trowa winced as he stood. His leg was still healing from the last mission he was on.

"No you will not. You're still injured from that last mission." Une glared. Then looked around the room.

"Zechs, you want to do some undercover work?"

"What! Why him? I'm the best at infiltration." Trowa shouted. Everyone but Quatre was shocked with his outburst.

Une stood up and glared at him, "I know you are, but as I said before you are still injured and I refuse to send you out there while injured."

"It's just a flesh wound. It won't interfere with the mission."

"You're limping! It's not just a flesh wound."

Trowa took a deep breath, "Look Une, I know you fancy yourself to be like an older sister to me but you are not. I can do this mission."

Une sighed and rubbed her temples, "I'm not speaking to you like an older sister. I'm your superior in this organization. You are not fit for this mission, Zechs is. He's second best in the field. I want someone fit in there."

Trowa glared at Une, "Fine." Then abruptly sat in his chair.

Zechs looked at Noin. He didn't want to leave her with the children by herself but he knew how important this was. Noin looked back at him, smiled softly and nodded. Zechs smiled while he reached over and squeezed her hand.

"I'm on it."

Une smiled tiredly, "Good. We'll set you up and you can leave tomorrow afternoon. Well gentlemen, I think that's it for now."

They all nodded and left the room.
