Quatre looked at Heero. "Where's that noise?"

"Duo broke up with Hilde." Heero replied calmly. "He's probably throwing things around in his room but we'd better go check, just in case." He swiftly took out his gun and made for the stairs. He didn't get very far when the Duo kicked down the door of his room.

Quatre's eyes widened. "What in the-?"

Duo was wearing black shorts, a black shirt with the words `LOVE SUCKS' in bold white letters on the front and was singing into his hairbrush. But that wasn't the think that caught Heero's eyes. Duo's unrestricted, chestnut brown hair was flowing wildly as Duo swung his head round making him look like a ck star.

//When nothing goes your way, your heart begins to fade,

However hard you try, the problems seem endless. //

The swinging of his head caused the mass of chestnut brown hair to sway wilding. Duo was also swaying his hips from side to side in time to the music. For Heero, the sight before him could only be described in one word. Intoxicating.

//It's your own bed you made, not gonna go away,

You just break down and cry, must be a way out of there. //

Quatre stared. He had never seen Duo so emotional over a break up, if that was the reason behind his current behaviour. Quatre could see a fire burning in his eyes, a fire that no amount of water could extinguish.

//No use feeling sorry for yourself, coz you've got something else. //

Duo belted the next few lines at the top of his lungs. His deep husky voice boomed through the house.

//Hope, there's gotta be a little bit in you and me,

Hope, the only way we're gonna keep our sanity.//

He reached the top of the stairs and slid down the banister, quite a performance for the two people in the audience.

//Hope, there's gotta be a little bit in you and me,

Whatever it takes, hold on, keep riding through the storm.//

Heero quickly jumped out of the way as Duo landed at the bottom of the stairs, coming to a stop on his knees like rock stars at a live concert.

//Don't dream of giving up, don't dream of giving in,

Just try to keep your head, the answers are within you.//

Quatre stood gawking at the sight of a wild and unruly Duo singing his broken heart out. The break up must have made a big impact for Duo to be acting like this.

//Don't think of losing heart it's tearing you apart,

Just gotta carry on, you know you can get through.//

Duo leapt onto the large couch, singing and dancing on it as if it were a stage.

//No use feeling sorry for yourself, coz you've got something else.//

//Hope, there's gotta be a little bit in you and me. //

Quatre gasped as Duo grabbed the porcelain vase on the coffee table and threw it at a wall with all his strength, shattering into a thousand pieces.

//Hope, there's gotta be a little bit in you and me. //

Heero sensed the situation. He had to stop Duo before any more damage was caused.

//Hope, the only way we're gonna keep our sanity.//

Duo punched the coffee table, splitting in into useless pieces of wood.

//Well I want what you long, that's right, yeah,

So baby, don't give up the fight, hey...//

The singer jumped around, smashing, pounding and breaking everything he could lay his hands on.

//Hope, there's gotta be a little bit in you and me,//

Shinigami will destroy everything in its path.

//Hope, the only way we're gonna keep our sanity.//

Cups, dishes, cd's, statues.

//Hope, there's gotta be a little bit in you and me,//

Shinigami was in full swing.

//Whatever it takes, hold on.//

Chairs, windows, the tv.

//Yeeeeea // Heero poured a jug of ice-cold water onto Duo. // ahhhhowwww!!!!// HEERO!!!!
