Part 3

Everyone got up to investigate. What they found was a pile of broken plates on the opposite wall that Duo and Laura were standing at. Laura was holding Duo in her arms whispering stuff in his ear. Confusion seeped onto the faces of everyone that came into the room. It soon turned to concern on Quatre's face. Thinking that Duo had thrown the plate at Laura, he was about to speak up but Duo beat him to it.

"I guess this looks really bad, heh heh." The nervousness in his voice was evident. "It's not what you guys think really." He continued.

"Stop worrying Duo," turning to her friends Laura continued. "I know what it looks like, and what you are thinking but it's not. So stop looking accusingly at Duo like that. He did not, I repeat did NOT throw the plates at me. He was just venting his furry at the wall. Besides I'd rather the wall and plates feel his wrath, rather than Wufei. Who was so~oo nice as to cause all of this trouble." At that she glared at Wufei. He slowly started to back away and bolted to the door, unfortunately for him; Sharon was in his path. So she merely stuck her foot out and tripped him, he went flying face first out the door.

Quatre was still staring at Laura with concern and doubt was apparent on his features. "Are you sure everything's fine? Because if your not we can deal with it." He said approaching Duo with clenched fists.

Duo being speechless and dumbfounded by Quatre's accusations him throwing plates at his wife just gawked. He could understand why Quatre thought it but not why he would not believe Laura.

Laura getting annoyed with Quatre's accusations stepped between her husband and his friend, and punched Quatre in the face. She then shouted "for the last time Quatre, because you seem to want to make me repeat myself so much today, which is annoying enough, Duo did not hit or throw anything at me! Sheesh. I'll get some ice for your cheek." With that she went to the fridge for some ice.

Quatre, finally getting the clue that she wasn't in the mood to put up with him, went to wait in the dining room for his ice, rubbing his cheek. Meanwhile Gen and Sharon started to laugh.

"That was the best Sharon! And with such grace too, Wufei never even saw you stick your foot out. Hehehe." Gen exclaimed loosing herself in laughter.

"I know, I know, It was the best. Thank you, thank you!" she said with a bow. With this said and done Duo got out of his shock of being accused at hurting Laura, had taken everything that just happened into perspective and began to laugh. Gen and Sharon got the broom and dustpan. And took up the charge of cleaning up the pile of shattered plates on the floor. They started picking up the 'once beautiful' plates that they had bought them for a wedding present.

Laura walked out of the room with the ice for Quatre's cheek, with Trowa right behind her.

Those still in the kitchen, mainly Duo, Gen, van, Sharon, Milliardo and Heero could hear apologies being exchanged between Quatre and Laura. They could also hear Wufei attempting to apologies for being a royal ass. Then a loud "Teme Yarou" and "apology accepted" from Laura followed.

Walking over to her friends, she started to help them with the clean up. That is when she noticed that they were her wedding present plates from them.

"Ah shit!" she exclaimed. "This is jus the best day I've ever had" she added sarcastically.

Noticing this Duo walked over to the three girls and for the first time, he noticed what he had thrown.

"Kuso! Man, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to throw those, it's just that he got me so mad. I'm so sorry!" Duo said apologetically to them.

"Hey it's ok Duo, they can be replaced, it's not like they were a living thing. There only plates." Gen said in her it's-ok voice, while picking up the larger pieces and throwing them in the garbage.

"Ya she's right, don't worry about it, besides plates can be replaced, friendships can't." Sharon added. Throwing the smaller ones in the garbage as well.

"What time is it? On my it's already eight p.m., and we still haven't eaten. Guys, let's go, out, out, out." Laura said as she was shoving the guys out of the kitchen.

Dinner went well. Wufei sat at the opposite end of the table that Duo, Laura, Gen, and Sharon were. Same with Quatre, he had a nice bruise forming on his swollen cheek. The three girls chattered fervently, Duo talked to Van and Milliardo about everything and anything. Heero was - it appeared to be - off in space, to the untrained eye or of course if your not friends with the guy. He is actually in deep thought about something or another. Quatre and Trowa were having their own conversation and Wufei sat there quietly eating his food.

This went on for about twenty minutes, when all of a sudden Heero pounded on the table and said, "God I really hate relena, she's so annoying, and what is wither her stalking me all the time?! Grr..." he finished and started to grind his teeth together to restrain his anger.

"Um yeah…I think we all do, Heero." Duo said.

"I don't...I think she's really nice and pretty. Don't you think so Trowa?" Question Quatre and looking at his 'friend' with pleading eyes.

"...I'm not getting involved." Was all he said.

"Shut up Quatre, you wouldn't know what pretty was if it got up and bit you in the ass!" exclaimed gen.

"I would too! And Miss Relena is very pretty, and, and, she's not stalking you Heero, she just loves you very much." Quatre said in his defense.

"SHUT UP QUATRE!" was his response, from everyone except Wufei who had no idea what was going on (what else is new) and Trowa of course.

Quatre looked at everyone with big teary eyes and he slowly began to sob.

"If your going to cry, go some where else cause you ain't going to get any sympathy from us" Gen said (she's mean too, she can't stand people that cry.)

*Sniff sniff* was the only response she got. Everyone was beginning to get annoyed with Quatre's sniffling, so they finished dinner quickly and went into the living room. Leaving Quatre to cry with Trowa and Wufei as his only companions. (Oh joy! That would be so~oo fun!)
