Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ Labyrinth ❯ Chapter 2 ( Chapter 2 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Labyrinth

Obviously, this is based on the movie, (which I think is great, BTW) and involves the charas from GW, and also a bit of self-insertion. My muses (Past AND Present) also play a large part. So sit back, look blankly off into Never-Never Land, and enjoy my fic!! Oh, and pairings are as follows:screw it, just doing THIS would be as long as the fic, so I guess you'll figure it out as we go along. Gomen! P.S. Duo and Wufei are the only Pilots in this, just cause it was easier. Arigatou for your understanding!!!!

~<@>~

It took Wufei awhile to nottice that all sounds and explosions he had come to associate with Duo in the kitchen had ceased long ago. Curious and more than a tad worried, he laid his book aside and went to investigate. He ruled out the kitchen and the hanger, and decided to look in the bedroom.

Taking the stairs two at a time, he stopped at the top to listen for any sign of the braided baka. It was unnervingly quiet. Where the hell could he have gone....? Wufei wondered. He was starting to panic a bit.

He knocked lightly on the door to Duo's room, and when he recieved no answer, he kicked the door in. Nothing. Letting out a sigh of relief, he was about to head out when a mysterious wind came up and blew the window in. Wufei watched in amazement as a entrepenuring bat tried to fly gracefully in, but fouled up horribly and ended up being blow into the closet. Wufei pulled out his katana and approached said closet. He nearly shrieked when someone covered with Duo's dirty laundry stumbled blindly out of the closet and landed on the bed.

Wufei wasted no time in attacking this new threat, which reacted much like Vash, in being able to dodge his attacks without seeming to. The person managed to pull away a pair of boxers covering his head, and cried out.

"STOP! Oh, for the love of god, CUT IT OUT!!!" Wufei was so startled that he dropped his sword. The person, who soon revealed himself to be a young man, quickly shook himself loose of the clothing and glared at Wufei in disgust. "Dear gods, man, do you do that to EVERYBODY?"

"Only the ones who come in through the window," Wufei deadpanned. Koryu snorted and looked around.

"Well, anyway, my name is Koryu, King of the Goblins, and I've got your......whatever he is." Koryu Gave a tenuous evil grin and waited for Wufei to respond. The response he got wasn't exactly the one he had been looking for. Wufei thought for a moment.

"The Goblin King." Koryu nodded. "Like in the movie?" Another nod. "But no mullet or stretch pants?" Shake. "And you have Duo?" Nod. "Well, then, good luck. You can have him."

"W-what?" Koryu sputtered. "But- don't you want him back?"

"Not particularly." Wufei turned away and began to walk down the staires, Koryu following.

"That's not the way the story works!" Wufei shrugged.

"Then go find someone who wants him back. I'm well rid of the baka. I'll be able to finish my book." Reaching the living room, Wufei picked up said book and sat down. Koryu was at a loss.

"Um.....can I use your phone?" Wufei looked up at the fidgeting young man with the wings, and nodded.

"It's in the kitchen." He watched, puzzled, book forgotten for the moment while Koryu scurried to the phone and dialed a number.

Sara picked up the ringing phone irritably. "Who the hell are you and what do you want?Speak."

"Ah, yes, um, darling, it's me. I have a bit of a problem."

"Koryu? Why haven't you got Wufei in the Labyrinth yet? It's been," she looked at her clock, "half an hour already. What's taking so long?" Koryu cleared his throat.

"He doesn't want him back."

"WHAT?! No way! He has to! There has to be some reason he'll come after Duo! Lemme ask!" She covered the mothpiece with her hand and looked over to where Duo was sitting, tied to a chair. "Duo-kun? What would make Wu wanna come and get you?" Duo looked at her like she was insane.

"First you kidnap me, then you tie me to a chair, and now you want ADVICE?" Sara nodded. Duo gave a sigh. "Well, tell him that it wasn't OZ that painted his Gundam pink, it was me. And if that doesn't work, tell him he's acting like a weak unjust woman with no morals. That oughta get him here. Now, will you untie me?" Sara nodded and leaned over.

"Only because you were a good boy." She spoke into the mouthpiece. "Didja hear that, lover?"

"Yes. I'll pass the message along. Thank you, dearling."

"Ah, it's my job."

Koryu hung the phone up, and turned to find Wufei looking at him expectantly.

"Well?" Koryu cleared his throat.

"Okay. Um, Duo painted your Gundam pink." Wufei shrugged.

"I already knew that. So, I guess you can keep him. I don't need him for the missions, and I'll spend less money on food." Koryu nodded, pretending defeat.

"Fine, then, I suppose I'll be leaving....." Wufei helpfully pointed towards the door. "Hm, yes, thank you. Oh, and Mr. Chang?"

"What?"

"Duo wanted me to tell you that he thinks you're a weak unjust woman with loose morals." Wufei's eyes blazed and he jumped up.

"When are we leaving?"
