Obviously, this is based on the movie, (which I think is great, BTW) and involves the charas from GW, and also a bit of self-insertion. My muses (Past AND Present) also play a large part. So sit back, look blankly off into Never-Never Land, and enjoy my fic!! Oh, and pairings are as follows:screw it, just doing THIS would be as long as the fic, so I guess you'll figure it out as we go along. Gomen! P.S. Duo and Wufei are the only Pilots in this, just cause it was easier. Arigatou for your understanding!!!!



Koryu grinned happily and looked at Wufei, who simply wanted to go and beat Duo into a liquid. He pointed to the door. Wufei finally got over his bloodlust for a moment and looked at him curiously.

"What? Why aren't we going anywhere?"

"Well, ahem, there are a few.....conditions to you getting your.....whatever.....back." Wufei sighed heavily, realizing he was going to be awhile in gaining his revenge. Koryu struck a pose.

"What conditions?"

"Step through the front door and we'll talk." Muttering something about tar and feathers, Wufei did as he was told. He blinked, as the scenery outside was at odds with what it should have been. Koryu followed him out and squeezed past, striking another pose in front of an old cuckoo clock. Wufei looked around, scowling at the dead trees and barren landscape. Then he notticed the huge stone maze, and groaned.

"Do I REALLY have to go through that?" Koryu lost his smile.

"YES. Now shut up and let me talk!" Wufei shut his mouth with an audible CLICK. Koryu cleared his throat and began.

"Okay, here's the deal. You have 24 hours to traverse the Labyrinth, and make your way to the castle in the center, beyond the Goblin City. If you don't, well, um, something bad will happen. I'm not quite sure what, but I know it's supposed to have something to do with Sailor Moon and a pink dress." He gave a horrified shudder and continued. "Starting now, so you better get going. I said, starting now." Koryu glared at the clock, which seemed to be dozing. He slapped it sharply, and the bird popped out, cawing in indignation. Koryu glared.

"Get off your lazy feathered ass and start doing what I pay you for!" The cuckoo disappeared back into his clock, and the hands went backwards, stopping at the 24 mark. Koryu nodded and looked at Wufei expectantly. Wufei just looked back. The clock ticked. Finally, Koryu spoke.

"Well? Aren't you going to get on with it? I have to wait till you start before I leave, and you only have 23 hours and 50 minutes left. So, go! NOW!" Wufei snapped out of it and made his way down the dirt path, grumbling. Koryu watched him go, then sighed, looking at the cuckoo who had reappeared.

"Y'know, I have a very bad feeling about this one." The bird nodded, and both Koryu and the clock faded out of sight.



Wufei looked around, and scowled. Hearing a small sound behind him, he whirled around to find two young men furiously making out. He coughed loudly, which startled them and made them jump apart, blushing madly. Well, at least the blonde one was blushing madly. The taller one with the........bang?.....just stood there looking mildly uncomfortable. Wufei glared a bit more, then turned to the blonde.

"I need to get through this stupid maze. Show me how to get in. NOW." The blonde squeeked, and hid behind the taller youth, who glared right back. The little one, deeming it somewhat safe, stuck his head out from behind his lover, and pointed.

"You'll find the door over there. Um, my name is Quatre.......and this is Trowa." Trowa nodded crisply, and went back to what he apparently had been doing before Quatre arrived, which was weeding. Wufei loosened up a bit, and only semi-glared at Quatre this time. The blonde began to sweat under the instense scrutiny, but managed to stand his ground. Wufei shrugged, and turned to where Quatre had pointed. Nothing was there. He rounded on the small blonde boy angrily.

"I thought you said that there was a door here! Where the hell is it?" Quatre, who was now becoming used to Wufei's gruff attitude, managed to get out a few words before hiding behind Trowa again.

"You have to ask nicely!" FWOOSH! And he was off behind the not-so-substantial protection of his lover. Wufei silently snarled, then got it under control.

"How," he ground out through clenched teeth, "do I get into the Labyrinth? PLEASE tell me." The look on his face suggested that he was about to start spitting bullets any moment. But when he turned towards the empty wall again, it was no longer empty. Two large doors stood open, waiting for him to enter. He muttered a bit, but then, obviously deciding to go in, he bagan walking. Quatre, noting this, and being the polite little thing he was, called after.

"What's your name?" Wufei absently called back.

"Chang Wufei. Now what the hell-" the rest of his sentence was cut off by the massive doors closing. Quatre let out a breath and stood up straight. He turned to Trowa and smiled.

"I think I like him." Trowa just snorted and pulled Quatre to him, clearly intending to pick up where they had been interupted.

Huzzah! Wufei is FINALLY in the maze! YAY! So, what'll happen now? And why are the chapters so short? Well, to answer the second Question, I HATE short chapters, but they break it up nicely, so you can go to the bathroom, or grab some popcorn, or whatever. Plus I'm pumping this baby out after midnight. On school nights. And I'm in college. That deserves a medal, I think. Oh, well, on to chapter 4. WHEE!!!
