"So Mr. Yuy, are you satisfied with the divorce papers? I'm really sorry about this though, you really are a nice guy, and the fact that you're letting Mr. Maxwell keep everything, the house, cars, and more just tells me how much you truly cared for him." Mr. Wellesley said sympathetically.

"Yeah the papers are great, and I'm glad this is all over and the divorce is final. Quatra's connections really helped this go faster than usual. But thank you for all your help." Heero stated. He stood up and shook his hand, and said his goodbyes, and walked out of the office. Quatra was sitting there with his lover, and greeted Heero with a big smile.

"So Heero, now that it's final, why don't you stay with us till you figure out what you heal and figure out what to do next."

"Thanks Quatra but I couldn't do that, besides I think I need to just get out there already, and just try." Heero said softly yet sure.

Trowa who had been silent all day, finally broke in, " Where do you plan to go."

" I talked to Wufei since he works for the preventers, and asked him if I could talk to Une, and I decided to take her up on her offer since it was still standing."

"Wait, wasn't Une's offer to join the Shadow Preventers, or secret preventers group. Aren't they the ones that basically disappear, no contact during missions, and they go undercover sometimes for years and their identities and locations are kept hidden. Heero you can't be thinking of joining. I mean, why don't you join as a regular preventer, don't go disappearing on us." Quatra said slightly frustrated that Heero was sort of running.

"Quatra I want to help, and I'm one of the best. Plus I just need to get away, and Duo has been trying to get a hold of me constantly since the divorce, and I just need to start new and fresh, I promise I'll try and let you know how I'm doing. Ok. Please don't make this harder." Heero begged.

"Alright, just come back to the house till you have to leave ok?"

Back in Quatra's mansion; Heero decided to go outside to the garden in the back, to calm down a little. He walked towards the bench, brushed some of the snow off, and sat down. Losing himself in all the thoughts and memories that took place in the past years.

Flashback

"Duo I swear when I get my hands on you I'm going to kill you!" Wufei yelled as he chased after him. Duo ran up behind Heero and wrapped his arms around his waist. " You wouldn't dare hurt me. Right Heero, you'll protect me won't you. You know you couldn't live without my sexy ass running around!" he said as he pecked his cheek lightly, and took off running. "Duo you BAKA!!!" Heero yelled to the retreating pilot.

"Ahhhhhh, mistletoe! You're both standing underneath the mistletoe, you have to kiss, it's tradition. Come on, do it already. Kiss!" Quatra taunted happily. "Well we can't break tradition now can we?" Duo said with a sneaky glint. "Baka, what are you talking abmmmfffttttt!" Heero tried to ask, but was cut off by Duo's lips pressed insistently against his. Pulling back slowly, Duo just smiled, and went back to trying to open his presents early, leaving Heero standing there shocked and frozen, hand touching his lips. `That was my first kiss.'

Heero stood at the balcony looking out at the garden below, once again thought about the braided pilot running through his head. He found himself growing more attracted to him everyday. And yet there was more to it than that, he began to care, maybe even love him. `But nothing would happen, it was foolish, besides he's straight, and even if he wasn't there's no way he would want someone like me.' He thought sadly. Suddenly he heard a sound, but before he could turn around, he felt a body press against his back, and arms placed on the rail on both sides of him, stopping him from escaping. Then the warm body pressed closer, chest pressing against his back, and he felt his own body feel warm from the touch. He gasped as a light husky voice breathed into his ear, "I've wanted to do this for a long time, and I can't just sit back anymore." Then those soft lips brushed over his ear, and down his jaw. A hand came up, turning his head towards the body's own lips. Heero gasped as soft, warm lips met his, and a tongue slowly licked his bottom lip, pleading for entrance. As he moaned, they took his open mouth as an invitation, and dipped their tongue into his sweet cavern, tasting and exploring, and finally tempting Heero's tongue to play back. Slowly they broke away from the kiss, needing air. A shaken Heero turned in the arms, and smiled a rare smile. "Heero, I love that smile, and I want to be the only one to make you smile that way." He said softly. "Oh God Duo, I've wanted this for so long, my heart has ached to hear you say you even cared." Heero cried out, and kissed him fiercely.

End Flashback

Later in Heero's room, the door slowly opened and a voice was heard. "I know you're planning on leaving tonight, than in the morning like you told Quatra. You know he'll have your butt if he finds out." Heero ducked his head, and couldn't bring himself to look at Trowa. "I'll keep him distracted so he doesn't notice, but you'll owe me, because I know I'll be in the doghouse for this one. Just take care, and promise to contact us whenever you can."

"Thanks Trowa, I really owe you for all that you guys have done for me. I'll miss you, Quatra, and Wufei a lot, but I have to do this." And then he grabbed Trowa and hugged his tighter than he had ever before. Shocked a little that Heero would actually initiate a hug, Trowa slowly slid his arms around Heero, and told him to be quiet on his way out and good luck.

"HE'S GONE. HOW COULD HE DO THAT. HOW COULD HE LEAVE BEFORE MORNING. TROWA I KNOW YOU HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS AND YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE MISTER. DON'T YOU BABY ME, THE NEXT TIME I SEE HEERO HE IS IN DEEP TROUBLE." Quatra yelled, even though a part of him knew Heero would leave before sunrise. He wouldn't expect any less of Heero.
