Quatre yawned as Heero eyes darted suspiciously around them.

"What's wrong?" he asked sleepily.

Heero put his index finger to his lips motioning for Quatre to be quiet.

Suddenly Quatre felt a stinging pain in the back of his neck. He let out a soft whimper.

"What's wrong?" Heero asked.

"I'm fine, it was probably a bug or something."

Heero didn't buy it. He quickly picked Quatre up and rushed him to the car.

"What are you doing?" Quatre asked, quickly wrapping his arms around Heero's neck.

"I'm taking you to a hospital. Don't ask anymore questions."

Quatre obeyed and soon they were in the car.

When they got to the hospital Quatre was felling weak and sick to his stomach. Heero quickly rushed to the desk, "Check him in immanently."

The woman at the desk handed him a chart, "Fill it out first."

"It will be too late. He's probably been injected with N13."

The woman paled and quickly sent for a doctor, code green.

Doctors rushed in and one of them asked who it was.

"Here." Heero said and put him on a stretcher.

Quatre's vision became blurry. He didn't know what was going on. Then everything became blank.

Heero walked to a pay phone, cursing himself for not brining a cell phone.

He took a card from his pocket and called Trowa.

"Hello?" Trowa's voice answered.

"Get to the Memorial hospital south of San Francisco in California, America. Quatre's in trouble."

"I'll be there as fast as I can. I'm in Russia right now."

He called Duo next.

"Duo, Quatre's in trouble get to the Memorial hospital south of San Francisco."

"I'll be there. Don't bother to call Wufie he's with me."

He called Noin next.

"Preventers, Lucrezia speaking."

"Quatre's been injected with N13. Get to the Memorial hospital south of San Francisco as fast as you can.

"I will. I can gather the others. I'm right to assume you've got the other Gundam Pilots coming?"

"Yes."

With that, they hung up.

Twenty minutes later Duo and Wufie arrived at the hospital.

Heero guided them to a succeeded corner in the waiting room and directed them to sit down.

"What happened? Was there an accident? Will he be okay?" Duo asked and looked like he was going to continue, but Wufie interrupted him."

"Let him answer the question before you ask another."

"I'm sure that Quatre has been injected with N13."

Duo and Wufie looked blank.

"It's an experimental drug to bring on biological warfare that the Preventers busted. N13 stands for Number thirteen."

"Real original," Duo muttered.

"N13 goes through the human system and kills the human instantly. Quatre would be dead if it wasn't for the fact that the experiment was a failure in the sense that it kills the human instantly. The symptoms vary in each person. Caroline Charm, is an expert in the field and just happened to be here."

Duo huffed, "yeah right. I bet it was planned."

"I figured as much."

"It sounds to me that the person or persons heard about Charm and looked into her research and bought it on the Black Market. Probably an amateur who didn't know much about poisons." Wufie said.

"Or they were just giving Quatre a warning." Duo said softly.
