Disclaimer: *sniffles into her hankie* They just told me... I don't know how to tell you, but they've said... they said... I don't own Gundam Wing! Why! Heero, Why!?

I, Goddess Blue, do promise not to hold hostage any more chapters. (So long as I keep getting reviews).

Wufei got curious about what would happen if someone felt Duo, so he did, and Heero felt Wufei's face with his fist.

Now Wufei's in the hospital.

I tried to make it up to him by dedicating the lemon in the next chapter to him and he asked if it would taste sour, like real lemons.

I'm gonna make sure he has lots of kleenex's on hand.

Love,

Goddess Blue

Chapter 3 ~ Strange Feelings

Heero was feeling a little naseaus at the scene he'd just walked in on. Relena and Duo were... laughing and... getting along. It was weird.

He wasn't going to mention it, though, and would get Duo to tell him what they'd said later. He cleared his throat to catch their attention, and the both whirled on him, surprised at being interrupted. They looked almost... guilty.

He resisted the urge to reach up and scratch his nose.*

"I thought the two of you might be interested to know that Trowa is dancing with that Winner kid."

They both perked up and Duo looked about ready to do his victory dance. And that wasn't a pretty sight.

Heero turned around and began to leave the balcony, catching the warm body that had propelled itself to land on his back and ride him piggy back. Heero held onto Duo tightly but felt he had to mention that this was a black tie affair, and piggy back rides weren't very professional. Relena chuckled in the background and followed them back in, giving Heero a wink as she passed them.

Another knot loosened in his stomach, and Heero couldn't help but thank his lucky stars that he'd confessed his feelings to Duo after all.

They hadn't spoken since they'd gotten to the dance floor. Trowa led, and Quatre followed, and they got silently absorbed in each other's eyes.

Quatre couldn't remember ever seeing an emerald in those depths of colors. There were even specks of gold mixed with the green, and Quatre couldn't have thought of anything to say to him even if he'd been capable of speech at the moment. He hoped no one would ask him a question, he might embarrass himself by answering in some long-forgotten baby language.

Trowa was having a little trouble adjusting to the pounding of his heart when he held the blond in his arms. It was difficult to keep his mask in place, when all he wanted to do was grin like an idiot. He'd never felt like that in his entire life. He wondered what Catherine would say if she could see him now. Not only had he talked to someone, hit on someone, and now he was dancing with someone, but... he felt like smiling.

So he did, and it moved slow and graceful over his face, as if he'd been doing it for years and that particular smile hadn't been out of practice for years.

To his credit, when Quatre stumbled, he caught himself immediately before falling on his ass. Trowa's grip on him tightened, and he turned beet red.

There. That broke the ice.

They smiled at each other and danced through the pause in the music to the next song.

Sally, Noin and Une and watched the couple dance around the floor and sighed in that girlish way ladies do when something really romantic happens. Wufei slumped further in his seat and tossed back the rest of his champagne. They'd all circulated back to their table and Wufei was stuck sitting with three women.

Three.

Now, contrary to popular belief, Wufei had nothing against women.

Noin giggled and poked Une in the side.

Absolutely nothing. Women were beautiful creatures, and he appreciated that.

Une leaned to her right and whispered something in Sally's ear. Sally snickered.

No, no. He liked women just fine. What happened to the rest of his champagne? Maybe the bartender had something stronger.

Before he could go search out the bar, Relena joined them, and motioned to the other girls, who leaned in to hear her whisper something. They all sighed and looked the opposite way of Quatre and Trowa.

Another sigh.

Were they lacking for air or something? Vodka. Vodka would be nice.

And then they all turned to look at him expectantly.

Wufei had been in many battles, and had been under enormous pressure, but it was now that he began to sweat.

He sank a little further down into his chair. "What?" his voice came out dully.

"Nothing." They all sweetly replied. In surround sound.

Ah, so now he knew it was something. He rolled his eyes and stood.

"Would any of you ladies like more champagne?"

"I'm fine," Relena announced, and stood. Noin stood with her, elbowing Une.

Une blinked, then smiled and stood. "We're going to go mingle. You two enjoy yourselves."

Noin barely hid her grin as they all turned and left, Sally gaping over her shoulder at them.

Wufei toyed with the edge of his champagne glass and fought back the surge of awkward shyness. The kind he hadn't felt since his wedding day. His eyes slid up and caught Sally's, and they smiled at each other slowly.

"Did you want to dance, Miss Po?"

* Someone's thinking about Heero or talking about Heero.

There it is. Kinda short, but nice enough. Review. *big chibi eyes* Pwetty Pwease?
