"Okay little man, this is where you're gonna' sleep for now." Duo said throwing a black sleeping bag on the couch. "Sorry I don't have the extra bed ready. There's just so much of my junk in there. I'll clean it out tomorrow when we get back."
"Back from where?"
"The mall."
"Why are we going there?"
"To get you some clothes. I think I'll ask Quatre to meet us. He's better at shopping then I am." Duo said with a smile. "The dude has 29 sisters, of course he's good at it." He said under his breath.
Suddenly the phone rang.
"Hello." Duo answered.
It was Relena.
"Duo, have you noticed anything… strange about Heero lately?"
"No, can't say that I have. Why, have you?"
"Yeah, actually I have. You see today, and I can't say that I'm not happy because I am, but he kind of…ashed me ofer for niner." She said in a hushed voice.
"What?"
"He…askedmeoverfordinner."
"I didn't quite get that. Just a bit slower."
"HE ASKED ME OVER FOR DINNER!"
"…ha ha ha ha, it's about time he did something. I was wondering what he meant by a date."
Relena's face was going red. "What do you mean it's about time?"
"What! You mean you haven't noticed?"
"Noticed what?"
"Guess that's a no. Heero likes you."
"Me?"
"Yes!"
"I… well…I…"
"And you like him. Right?" Duo said getting a grin.
"Well…maybe…I guess so…yeah."
"Then what's the problem?"
Relena was silent for a while but then smiled. "Guess there isn't one. Thank you, Duo. You're a really good friend."
"Of course I'm a good friend. That's why I'm so popular."
"It's also why you have such a swelled head. Good-bye Duo."
"Good-bye. And I do not have a swelled head."
"Whatever." <click>
"Okay Andrew," Duo said turning around "time for be… heh."
Andrew was curled up in a little ball on the couch sound asleep. Duo carefully picked him up and took Andrew to his bed. He undressed him and put Andrew under the covers. Duo then went over to his closet and took out a little brown teddy bear. He placed the small toy next to Andrew whose arms wrapped around it and held it close. Duo exited his bedroom, taking a moment to look back at the little boy in his bed, and continued on to the couch to sleep there instead.

Trowa lay awake in bed staring at the ceiling. He had a strange feeling. He'd been having it a lot recently. Mostly when it was quiet. As much as he liked the quiet, it was starting to make him feel as if something was missing.
He got up, knowing he wasn't going to go to sleep soon, and turned on the TV. He flipped through the channels. Eventually, he found his favorite show, CSI. It wasn't long until his thoughts were back on his feelings. He felt the same way earlier today in the back of Duo's truck. When he looked back at the TV, CSI was over. He resumed flipping through the channels.
He settled on what looked to be an interesting movie. It was right in the middle of it, but he didn't mind. He watched for a few minutes when it got to a teenage girl crying and saying that she didn't want to be alone anymore.
That's when it hit Trowa. When he realized what was bothering him, what was making him feel the way he did at times. He was lonely.
"I don't want to be alone anymore." He said to himself.

Wufei was in his fitness room lifting weights on his bench press. He had his own little evening routine he always followed. First he'd have dinner. If he'd been out that day, which he had, he would check his messages. Then he'd lift weights and practice a few different forms. He would then take a shower, watch the news, and go to bed.
He'd had received quite a few messages. A mother called, telling him two of his students were sick with the flu. His next-door neighbor, an old widowed lady who was a little too nosy, but really nice, wanted to know if he would like some cookies. She also wanted him to meet her daughter in another message she left. She was always trying to set him up with on girl or another.
Then there were two unusual messages. One had a face with it. The other didn't. The first was a teenage girl who appeared to be around his age, but you can't judge a book by its cover, can you?
The message*
"Hi. You don't know me but, …oh, how should I put this, …I really like you and I learned your name and everything and that's how I got your number through the phone book. And I would really like to meet you in person instead of just watching from afar. Not that I watch you everywhere you go, no no no. Nothing like that. So, maybe, if you wouldn't mind, you could meet me at the park tomorrow at noon. You know at the fountain with all the ducks. Wait… they all have ducks. It's the fountain with the cupid statue. Um… okay… bye. Oh and by the way my name is Clarissa."
End of message*
The other, was to say the least, was… odd. He could tell from the static the person was from a cell phone. Unfortunately, because of the static, he couldn't tell if it was a girl or a guy. He hoped to God it was a girl. But he didn't think it was.
The message (part 2)*
I've seen around and everything, and I have to admit I have a crush on you. And I know if you ever saw me you'd want me. So an…"
End of message*
The message didn't have a chance to continue before it was deleted. Wufei didn't even want to think about what kind of person that was. If the person called again and wanted to meet, he'd meet him just to put the guy out of his misery. As far as he was concerned he'd be doing the world a favor. It's not like he hates gay people, he doesn't, but… that was just… disturbing.
He tried calling the girl back to say he didn't want to meet anybody right now at all. But she had called from a friend's house and wasn't there anymore. When he tried to get her number, he found out the reason she called from a friend's house was her phone had been disconnected. As much he didn't want to go, he didn't want her standing out there waiting all day either. He decided he go, try to explain he didn't want a girlfriend as politely as possible, and leave.
He finished lifting weights and moved on to his forms. He figured his plan was a good one. It was better than rushing in with no idea what you were doing.

Quatre was just getting out of the shower. All his thoughts were concentrated on Andrew. He was happy the kid had a home. It was supposed to be temporary until they found a good home for him, but Duo was most likely going to get attached, if he wasn't already, and adopt the kid himself.
He really was a cute kid. And his imagination was far from small. Quatre rather enjoyed his story about the evil squirrels.
Quatre was headed down to the dinner his cooks had prepared for him and a few of his sisters who had come over. He passed by a room with the door opened. It was the gallery. He walked in real quick to look at his favorite picture in the whole house. It was a picture of a family at winter all gathered around the fireplace. They were laughing and talking and just having a good time. It reminded Quatre of how much he wanted to have a family of his own.
He had all laid out in his mind. One day he'd meet a girl he could never stop thinking, talking, or dreaming about. They'd fall in love and get married. They'd have children together and everything. It was Quatre's dream.
He didn't know how long he stood there when one of his sisters came in.
"Hey, I've been looking all over for you." Hanna said. "Are you going to come eat or what?"
"Sorry, I guess I got lost in my thoughts."
They were about to leave the room when suddenly the alarms went off.
"What's that? What's happening?" Hanna said with fright.
"Someone's trying to break in." Quatre replied and took off running through the halls.
