It was a longer mission then he had expected; a welcomed, bone tiring, back
breaking, rolling around in the mud, mission. It was the only type of mission nowadays
that could put a smile on his face when everything else in his life was going to hell and
back. He strode along the quiet halls of the Preventer Headquarters building with ease,
since no sane person in their right mind would still be in the building at this time of
morning.
Shadows molded to his body, recently freshened from a de-toxic shower in the
men's locker room. Loose obsidian silk hangs freely amongst his face, curling at his
eyelashes, clinging to his cheeks. A standard issue white towel hugs his neck from the
cool gust of air issuing from the air vents above. Standard blue t-shirt with the
Preventers' logo sticks to the small but much relaxed muscled frame, while gray sweats
hang low on narrow hips. Black flip-flops clack softly against the tiled floor as he makes
his way upstairs to his office.

In his head though, it was a mess. Flashes of the recent mission with its
stuttered gunshots and smoke bombs played ping pong with the conversation he held
with Sally not four days ago. Barely biting back a whimper from the remembered taste
of the Berry Blast snow cone she made him finish off when she couldn't eat anymore,
was ten times better then considering the possibilities of what her words implied.
There was nothing going on between him and Yui. Truthfully it could probably be
chalked up to stress induced spasms of stupidity. The fact that it happened more than
five times in the last week should be proof enough that there was something mentally
wrong about the whole ordeal. It was time to put an end to it. Once he finished typing up
his report, grabbed a quick breakfast from the cafeteria, changed into his uniform and
confirm the upcoming mission details with Une, he would deal with the problem of
Heero Yui.

Mind resolved, he placed his palm on the scanner next to his door and waited
patiently for it to take both a fingerprint and retinal scan. A soft ticking sound was heard
as the locked released from its place as he turned the knob. He didn't bother to turn on
the light because it wouldn't be necessary. Two swift steps and he would be inside his
office with door locked behind him. Three steps later he paused. There was something
wrong.
Eyes causally swept over the moderate office space. First towards the back of
his office where stationed up against the south wall was a very comfortable leather

couch - a gift from Une of all people - and his weapons / spare uniform locker. Nothing
seemed out of place there, so his eyes took in both the west and east walls where two
huge digital maps where placed. On the East wall sat a current live view of every
Colony and Shuttle Base that there was currently in space. On the West wall sat a
projection of Earths' continents; where at any given moment ten red blinking dots would
be constantly monitored.
Finally his eyes swept over his desk where his computer was quickly logging on
and into Preventers' database; programmed to do so every time he opened his office
door. As he moved closer to the desk though, he found the object of his apprehension.

There sitting next to his computers keyboard was a single lotus blossom and a five by
seven inch black box with a hideously bright white bow and a single card tacked on.

Curiously one eye brow rose even as he moved closer to what could possibly be
a trap. Thoughts of where he put the homemade bomb scanner that Duo built for him
during the wars quickly ran through his head but couldn't find any answers. Stooping
low he eyed it carefully to see if there were any wires or any sounds coming from it.....

"It's not a bomb"

He jumped, his body moving into a fighting stance in under three seconds flat.
Blood rushed everywhere as his heart sped up. The scowl that emerged on that once
relaxed face was of mega proportions as he eyed the intruder standing before him.

Dressed in the same standard t-shirt he was in, a pair of blue jeans and black
sneakers Heero Yui was still a force not to be reckoned with. Standing at five' ten and a
hundred sixty pounds of pure muscled mass, it was no wonder why every female and
one third of the male populace practically fainted at his feet. Prussian blue eyes were
still as sharp and deadly as ever hidden beneath dark brown bangs, while the smirk that
was playing across his slightly thinned lips was just as cocky and self assured as its
owner.

"What are you doing in my office?" He growled out while relaxing some; if you could call
some a tenth of his usual brusque coldness.

"Open it" Yui moved into the room, closing and locking the door behind him. The smirk
never left his face.

"Why" He demanded crossing his arms over his chest. He knew better then to take his
eyes off of someone as dangerous as Yui, but the curiosity to read the damn card was
growing. What kind of stupid game was being played now...

"...You know what, just leave Yui!" He sat down in his chair ignoring everything on his
desk that didn't have to do with typing up his report. He would deal with the gift and Yui
later. Yes, he would deal with them later on in the day when he had to the energy too.

Right now his body was painfully reminded of the torture it had just recently suffered
and it simply just wanted to rest. Narrowed eyes took in the glare from the computer
screen while nimble fingers swiftly pulled up the necessary forms to be filled. His body
would have to wait; he could only do so much at a time.

"You should open it" Yui stood in front of his desk, right hand stuff into the pocket of his
jeans jeans that seemed way too tight all of a sudden- while the fingers of his left hand
seemed to caress the top of his monitor.

Onyx eyes glared up at him briefly from the screen, his voice tight with barely restrained
emotions.

"What do you want Yui?"

Prussian eyes narrowed as if to say he wouldn't respond to a question that already had
an answer... but then it was like something flicked on....

"I want you."

Onyx eyes gleam up at him in shock.
Swift fingers reached down and turned off the power for the monitor, plunging the office
back into darkness. The demand on his lips was obvious.

"No One Will Stop Me"
