Requiescere Sanus
Chapter 1 - Changing Places
So that was it, I was on the move again. I glanced to the side the countryside merging into an ever expanding carpet of green flashing past the glinting windows of the car I'd acquired, at least I assumed, I'd be rid of that dreadful Relena, she followed me like a lost puppy, I hated her, I hated her so much...why couldn't I kill her? Omae o korosu...those words lingered in my head, that was about the only thing I've ever said to her...but still she didn't get the point, I'd even pushed the muzzle of my gun into her face, yet she still followed, baka onna. As ever I'd been forced to move on and as I glanced out of my window I saw the large building that was to be my school looming out of the forest. Hn, I'm not involved I don't need to let anyone know what I really am, I'm just that quiet intense boy that can instil fear if pushed, the perfect solider...void of emotions, a cold killer, because that's what I am isn't it...just a cold killer nothing more nothing less, though indestructible to say the least. I always wondered how they did it, Trowa, Duo, Quatre and Wufei, they fought but they had a heart, they managed to at least seem normal, I found myself starting to miss that violet eyes American baka and his incessant yapping, dammit Heero you're loosing cool, how can you miss Duo of all people? He's irritating, he never shuts up and he constantly pulls terrible jokes, usually at your expense, yet I miss his companionship, I find it odd, I'm used to being alone, I'm used to not answering to others yet I find myself longing for the company of the others. I pulled the car over into the drive and smirked stepping out of the glossy black car and pocketing the keys as I soft shut the car. I looked up to the building, yes an all boys school, I defy you onna to follow me here. I step towards the school shaded in the shadows, no one needs to know me, and if they ask I'll just tell them *The only name you may know me by is Yuy, Heero Yuy, the perfect solider...*

Yarbarah Sadi was lurking in his usual shadows outside the school door, watching the other students... boys who shied away from his single eye and steely glare. His white braids tied back and his sword held absently in one hand, he was not a boy to mess with. Yarbarah saw the black car pull up and a boy stepped out- a boy who took instantly to the shadows like himself... A cold, alone boy... a very attractive boy... his ice blue eye flashed as he watched the boy approach the door.

I looked up, there was a boy by the school entrance, his eye fixed on me, shrouded in shadows, I glanced around my surroundings everything being taken in as my sensitive senses worked for me, my training had allowed me to notice even the minutest detail, and of course it paid off well, wherever I had been sent I was able to use it to my own will. I continued to walk his eye on me, I felt uncomfortable, did he know, did he know who I really was? If so then he was another person I'd have to kill...Why all this bloodshed I questioned myself, I'm just a 15 year old boy, could I really take anymore pain, and then the answer came to me as it had been repeatedly drilled into me. You are a solider, solders kill, you will work to accomplish your mission and then you will give your life is necessary, because that's all you are Heero Yuy a suicide pilot, a cold assassin, nothing more nothing less. My cobalt eyes looked up and met his eyes blue for a second, I was uncomfortable about his sword, though I didn't fear it, after all I had training in sword fighting and a gun strapped in the inside of my trousers if he tried anything. I pondered for a moment then simply nodded to him before pressing my hand on the hard wood of the school door before slipping into the cold quietness of the school itself. I glanced around, no need for asking direction; I had the map of this school planned in my head already from… let's just say...research. I walked to an air vent and slipped into it only the slight clanging as the metal closed behind me signalled my position as I crept forwards through the ducts to my destination. I slipped down into the quiet area. Good I thought to myself, no one's here. I slipped my laptop out of my bag and sat down by the main computer plugging it into the mainframe. Hmm so, let's see I said to myself slipping a disk into my laptop "New Student, Heero Yuy, room number 88, Tuition fees not paid." I smirked, not for long "Tuition fees paid," flashed on my screen and I laughed silently to myself as boarding fees and financial check on Heero Yuy turned clear. "No problem" I muttered then slipped back into the vent taking my equipment with me before moving in the air ventilation shafts towards room 88, my room.

Yarbarah watched the boy stalk into the school... the boy met his gaze- something completely unusual- and nodded back at him. The boy looked like a fighter, but not a swordsman... Yarri waited until the boy was out of sight before walking into the school to ask after the new student. Seeing no one at the front desk, he went to hack into the mainframe to find out who the boy was. He opened the door... and saw the boy slipping through the air vents. "Hn," Yarri said, and started hacking into the new student lists. The only one from that day was Heero Yuy... odd name... room 88. Yarri committed the information to memory. Room 88 was next door to his own room. If he hurried, he would beat the boy there... the air vents weren't the fastest way around the school, he knew from experience.

I crawled hastily through the ventilation shaft my hands pressing on the cold hard steel that comprised the tunnel, I was glad this place didn't have laser protection like some places did it made things a lot easier for me, I could slip about unseen and unbothered, the shadow without a soul. I pondered for a moment, from my research I had noted this school indeed had no form of protection of any sort, but this suited my purposes, if Oz was to come and attack I'd be able to slip out quickly to the Wing zero and make an escape unharmed, but now that I thought of it was unlikely Oz would attack a school full of innocent civilians, especially because they didn't know who I was. For all the Oz organisation's cruelness and ruling with a fist of steel they had yet to attack and slaughter innocent civilians, which was one relief for me. My mind drifted back to my surrounding, I only had to turn left at the next shaft then third right and I'd be there. I dropped out of the chute silently with feet of velvet not making a sound as I contacted the floor. I glanced around, plain room, a desk, bed, cabinet, drawers and wardrobe, it suited me fine. I didn't bother to examine my room further as I reached into my bag and produced my laptop sitting it on the desk, I moved my bag to the side, I wouldn't need that for a while, for the moment I needed to find out what Oz was up to. I sat down plugging the laptop in and clicking into the familiar routines of intercepting top-secret Oz translations and messages. My cobalt eyes scanned the code and deciphered it, nothing yet. Of course if I had of found something I'd have to inform the relevant peoples, but as of yet I could only wonder what he was up to, that man with the words of a rose and yet a heart of cold, Trieze, wherever you are I'll get you, and if I don't Wufei will. I paused and sighed entering another floppy into the machine feeling no tiredness, no discomfort, nothing.
