Shadows oF To Be 0/?

Walking across the street to the house Heero looked around the quite street with the nice houses and was suprised that his friend lived here he didn't pictured this place being a place where Duo Maxwell would settle down when the wars were over.

Looking at the normal door Heero wondered if it was a nice little trap for unwelcome guest with a smirk he rung the bell on the side of the mentioned door, he wondered what Duo been up to he would admit that they left off on a bad note but six years had past and he figured that it would be enough to get over a brakeup.

"Who is it.?." A voice Heero knew was not Duo's in fact it sounded like a young child*Is he babysitting someone kid? or..* his thoughts were cut off when the door opened and a Little boy looked through the craked opening with sharp blue eyes." Hey i seen your Picture!."

Heero was shocked when the door was opened wider and he got a good look at the little boy*He's Duo child alright the hair color and smile but those eyes...i know them anywhere* "Hai i am a friend of Duo is he home?."

The little boy was about to say something but it was cut off when he was pulled into the house and was replaced by the one he sought.*My Lord he hasent change he did get taller but he's still small him and Quatre are the small ones in our group now* that thought brought a smirk to his face when he saw those violet eyes was looking at him in shock and confusion.

"Heero what are you doing here...no don't answer that come in." Duo said moving aside so the ex-pilot could walk inside his house*What in hell..i wasnt expecting this today or ever i was just about to take Adin to his friends house now i have to deal with Heero Yuy...SHIT!*

Heero walked into the house and looked around it looked like a normal house the living room had toys on the floor a little bike was leaning on the wall in the hallway near the stairs, Turning around he saw the little boy looking at him intensly as if studying him*Damn i wonder if i look at others like that if so then i have a lot of sorries to give out* Shaking off the look he foused on Duo who was looking at him leaning on the now closed front door.

"Sorry if the house is a mess but i wasnt expecting anyone..." Duo bit on his lower lip and moved to the livingroom and started to pick up the toys. "In fact we were about to leave."

"Oh i am sorry if i am keeping you but this wont take long." Heero said as he to walked into the livingroom he looked at the table next to the couch and saw picture of him and the other pilots they took it at the end of the last war.*Must foucus on task at hand.*

"Oh please do tell why in all these years you came to find me now!." Duo said as he sat down Adin sat next to his daddy looking at him worried he saw the hurt in the violet pools.

"Are we still going to Davey's daddy?." Adin asked looking from Heero to Duo with his lip tucked between his teeth.

"Yes as soon as Mr Yuy tell me what he wants." Duo said running his hand through Adin hair then stared at Heero as if to tell him to continue.*Hurry and go before i hurt more then what i do by seeing you again*

"Quatre asked to find you so you can come to his party he is having" Heero said as he took a card out his pocket.

"Why didn't he just send it to me?." Duo asked taking the card he and Adin looked over it then he gave it to his son before looking at Heero.

"Becuse you moved and stoped all contact with us." Heero said as he walked over to the lone seat next to the couch, Adin looked at the card and then at Heero before letting his twinkling eyes face Duo who groaned.

"Oh but do you really blame me..no matter tell Quatre i will be there i just have to find a sitter for this little terror." Duo said as he looked at his son's pouting face.

"NO! i wanna go with you daddy please i hate being left behind you promised never again." Adin launched himself at Duo and held on tightly.

"He can come too he'll have children to play with." Heero said as he stood up*The others would love meeting him and i would like to know more about him myself*

"Fine you can come but you better behave yourself."Duo said with a sigh*as if i could leave you here* Duo stood up and walked Heero to the door trying to look as if the messy haired young leave him once more. "I'll see you there."

Heero nodded and walked out the door willing himself along as he left the house when he got to his car he saw Duo and his son standing there looking at him with a small smile and a nod he got in and drove off thinking of how he could fix things between them.

Once the front door was closed Duo walked into the living room and sat on the couch with his head in his hands.

"That's my dad right?." Adin asked sitting next to his daddy and laying his head on his lap.

"Yeah" Duo said as he looked down at his son with a sad smile he never lied to his son and wasnt going to start now since he knew the little boy was to smart for that anyway.
