Pairings: 1x3x4, 2x5 (eventually)
Summary: It’s Ac 195, and there’s a new war in the works. Humans against mutants. The G-boys are the mutants’ ’’Secret Weapons’, though they don’t know it, at least not yet. Just read, k?

Prologue Continued…
That night, they just sort of sat around, not doing much of anything. Wufei bedded down in the den, a blanket over his head.
“Rise and shine! Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey!”
“Nngh…”
“Wake up! Breakfast is ready. Eggs and sausage. Come on!”
“’m a vegetarian…”
“Then Egg beaters and pancakes! Come on!”[1] The blanket flew off of him and he looked to see a shadow holding said blanket. Nightcrawler stood there, a smile on his face. “Get up, dude.”
‘Okay.” he got up and ran a hand through his hair. “So, you’re night crawler. What can you do?”
“Well, I can manipulate shadows, and control the dead. I can also turn invisible.”
“Really… okay.” He walked into what he assumed was the kitchen to see Sentinel cooking eggs and sausage. He also saw Mastermind making pancakes.
“Good morning Flash! What would you like?” Wufei smiled.
“Could I have Beaters and pancakes?”
“Sure! Two orders of pancakes, coming up!” Sentinel smiled and poured some stuff from a carton into the pan and began cooking it.
“So, you’re a vegetarian too?” The deep voice made him jump, and he looked to see Sphinx standing there, about to sit down. He tossed Wufei a pair of gloves, and smiled. “My sister got them.” With that, he shifted into a cat and purred around Mastermind’s feet until he got a piece of pancake. Wufei smiled, and then pulled the gloves on. They were fingerless except for the middle finger and the thumb (think of snapping). He snapped and a flame danced on his finger.
“Thanks. These will do nicely.”
“So what happened to you to bring you here?” Mastermind asked, as he put a plate in front of him.
“Well, I used to live in a dojo, with my grandfather, but one day it burned down. No, I didn’t start the fire. I was at school. When I got home, he was dead. I ran after that and lived on the streets. I couldn’t use my flames because of the rain, and I was too tired to run. Some thugs caught me, and I barely got away.”
“Do you know their names?” Nightcrawler asked, his eyes nearly black.
“I think one was named Otto…”
“Zechs.” It was the first word Sentinel had said in all the time he was there. (What, 12 hours, if that?)
“Damn him! I told him not to go around like that anymore if he knew what was good for him!” The shadows gathered around Nightcrawler. “I’m going to kill him!”
“Now, now Nightcrawler!” Mastermind said, a glint in his eye. “We don’t want to let you have all the fun, do we, Sentinel?” Sentinel growled, and the cat hissed.
‘So you all hate this Zechs?” Wufei said, eating his food. All the while, the fireplace danced even higher than usual, warring with the shadows around Nightcrawler.
“You’re damn right, we hate him. He nearly killed Mastermind a couple years ago,” Sentinel said darkly.
“oh. I’d like to have a hand in the revenge if possible…” The flames danced a little more, and Nightcrawler grinned.
“Sure. I have a feeling the weather’s going to be sunny.”
