A/N: thanks to my first reviewer on mediaminer! yay! and as to your question, KuraiMoon, there will be pairings, but I'm still mentally working them out. I feel the same way you do; no pairings, little interest. ^^; so, yeah. and Kenji/Seraph is a very mysterious person. If you pay very close attention to the descriptions of the characters I will be introducing, you may figure things out before I let everyone know. thanks again! and everyone else should thank KuraiMoon cause I was debating the continuation of this for a while, but getting a positive review helps. I was serious - no reviews, no updates. Well, enjoy!

'...' thoughts

Kenji smiled as he entered the room where the G-boys were; Duo was still eating, and Quatre was trying to hold a conversation with, it appeared, brick walls named Trowa and Heero. Kenji shook his head and sat down, eating some cake with Duo.

"So how do you all know each other really?" Kenji asked quietly, looking around at the group while the cake was still being devoured, along with chips, popcorn, and just about anything else the cook could dig up.

"Oh, um... I know Heero from when we were young, and me and Quatre met at school. Quatre and Trowa met in band, and Wufei just managed to get together in our little group." Duo smirked a little, "It's pretty weird, cause we're all so different really. But we're good friends."
"Speak for yourself, Maxwell." Wufei put in, looking haughty. Kenji just smiled slightly and shook his head. Duo and Wufei were always fighting like that, it wasn't at all unusual for Wufei to say such a thing.

They spent the whole evening just sitting there, talking, and snacking. After a while, Kenji offered to let them stay over for the night, since it was the weekend, to which they all agreed. After showing the G-boys their rooms (I), they all decided to watch a movie before going to sleep. This, though, posed the problem.

Duo wanted explosions, to which Heero and Wufei could sympathize, but Wufei was more into action/adventure movies involving swords or other long pointy objects. Heero wanted to watch a movie with spies and the like. Quatre wanted one with a romantic twist in it (and was looking shyly at Duo whenever he mentioned it). Trowa frankly didn't care, as long as it was interesting, and Kenji was no better. (II)

"Well, let's just randomly pick one then. How about... this one?" Kenji pulled out Ginger Snaps (III) and smiled, "It's not what anyone asked for, so it's not like I'm favouring anyone. It's a horror." they all nodded and walked to the den in the basement.

Popping the movie in, they all settled into a chair or a couch; Wufei was lounging on the loveseat by himself, Duo and Quatre were on the couch, Trowa was laying on the carpet with a bunch of pillows propping his head up, Heero was on the beanbag chair near the loveseat, and Kenji himself was in the bowl chair.

The movie started, and the boys were all watching it intensely, though all of them were also interested at everyone else's reactions, especially when Quatre squeaked when the werewolf attacked Ginger at the beginning. When the movie ended, Quatre was asleep and Trowa was nearly asleep, being comfortable with his pillows on the floor. Kenji got up and then bent down again to poke Trowa into awareness before getting the movie back in it's case. Duo just picked up Quatre and took him up to his room, not disturbing his sleep. They all wished each other a goodnight, and went to their rooms for the night.

The phone rang in the middle of the night, and Kenji Sera, also known as Seraph Kiara, picked it up, knowing only one person that would call at this time.

"Hello? Oh, hello brother dear." Kenji smiled in the dark of her room.

"Hello little sister," the male voice on the other side of the line said happily, "how are you, all alone over there?"

"I'm alright, and hardly alone with all the others in this house. Besides... I've made a few friends. You might like to meet them sometime, you know..." Seraph said, tauntingly.

"Oh really? Would they be those Gundam Pilots that I heard you were hired to keep alive?" Seraph made a noise, affirming it, though she didn't seem too pleased about it.

"I'm not a bodyguard. I'm really not. I'd better get paid real well for this one." Seraph muttered under her breath. The man laughed.

"Seraph, think of it this way. You're hired to assassinate the assassin. And make sure that the assassin doesn't do their job in the mean time." the man said, chiding her but being serious nonetheless.

"Well... I suppose I'll have to settle for that." she replied with a smile, "but I had better get off the phone now. These walls are a little too thin for my liking, and I have five people that are trained a little too well not to hear me."

After a short goodbye, Seraph hung up the phone. She smiled to herself while settling back into her bed. 'I miss him..' she thought to herself, ' but I'll probably see him soon enough. He knows that I can't very well do this without someone of his...expertise, if you can call it that..' With that final thought, she fell asleep.

In the morning, the boys all got up, just to see Kenji awake already and looking at a bunch of paperwork infront of him. Looking up from it, Kenji smiled, looking rather tired.

"The paperwork is for this," Kenji waved a hand around, to symbolize the house, "You'd be surprised how much there is to it..the maids and all that..and the food and their board and everything. It just keeps on adding up, and there's paperwork left and right along with it."

"I know what you mean, to an extent," Quatre put it, "The Winner family fortune leads to the same thing usually." Kenji smiles at the sympathy, and then gets everyone something to eat for breakfast. For a while, everything was calm and relaxing as everyone sat there comfortably with each other, eating breakfast.(IV)

That would change soon enough though.

A/N: well, there's another chapter, and another huge thanks to my first mediaminer reviewer, and everyone else that's helped along the way.

I - remember, it's a huge fucking house after all.

II - ~shrugs~ I couldn't think of anything else to put to show their differences, and I may have overdone it. Gomen.

III - a Canadian movie about a girl named Ginger turning into a werewolf. I think it's good; if you have the time to watch it, do so. Ginger Snaps II is out in theatres!

IV - is it just me, or am I making them eat a lot? O.o
