Wufei sat patiently, with three onna's that wouldn't shut up, waiting for the other four boys to arrive.

A commotion on the other side of the main door caught the room's occupant's attention. Soon Quatre and Trowa entered the room breathless.

"I am so sorry we are late. I completely lost track of time." Quatre apologized as he took his respectable seat.

"That's quite alright Quatre, besides Heero and Duo haven't arrived yet either." Relena informed them, slightly disappointed. Wufei looked away at the mention of his best friend and the Irda boy. He knew they wouldn't be seeing either on of them for quite a while.

"But they have to show up soon. It's very important." Hilde whined.

"Oh shut up you Onna (1). They will show up." Wufei proclaimed. "When they feel like it." He added as an after thought.

"What was that Wufei?" Quatre asked from the other side of the table.

"Nothing." Wufei replied.

"Alright, we might as well start. We can't wait forever for them now can we." Dorothy advised slightly disappointed in her cornel.

"You are right." Relena agreed. "Let's begin." Relena motioned for Hilde to begin.

"Alright. Well as I discussed with Relena and Dorothy yesterday, visions of 'the prophecy' have been coming to me more frequently. They have been quite clear and I know who the five warriors are." Hilde paused to let the information sink in.

"And what does this have to do with us?" Quatre asked politely.

"Well…"Hilde started. "It has every thing to do with you."

"How?" Trowa asked softly.

"You five…three at the moment are the five warriors that are to save the world."

"What?" everyone turned to the side door where Heero and Duo stood in surprise.

"What?" Duo asked. Heero and himself had just arrived from their little 'stroll', finding out from one of the attendants that the meeting, that they were supposed to be in, was still going on. So here they were, just walking in as Hilde finished saying that they had to save the world. "What was that?" he asked once again.

"That's what we are just finding out. Maxwell Yuy, welcome back." Wufei smirked. "Have a seat." He motioned to the two empty chairs beside him.

Duo and Heero glanced at each other before walking towards their seats.

"So what took you guys so long?" Relena asked.

If I told you we lost track of time would you believe me?" Duo asked.

Relena gave him a bleak look, as she shook her head 'no'.

"Damn well to tell you the truth, I wasn't going to come. So Heero stayed to keep me company." Shrugging, Duo leaned back into his chair.

The other occupants in the room excluding Wufei, gave the two boys confused looks.

"Onna, could you get on with it. Unless you are done, I have training to do." Wufei commented.

"Yes, well in the near future the battle that will determine the faith of the world will take place. And you five are to lead the battle…"

"What it we choose not to?" Duo cut her off.

"Why would you refuse?" Hilde asked puzzled.

"Just curious." Duo shrugged once more.

"The answer to your question Duo is that if any of you chose to not fight, there is no hope for the world. You five have been chosen for over hundreds of years to save the world. You cannot escape your faith." Hilde pressed.

"Ok, anyways, I need to get something to eat. So unless you need me for anything in particular I'm leaving." Duo stated as eh stood up. Giving Relena a courteous look, he walked towards the door and left, leaving quite a few puzzled people in his wake.

"Well this just sucks." Duo proclaimed as he walked into the palace gardens. "First I loose my family because others don't want me around, and now I have to fight to save those that didn't want me around. Not only that but I might lose my friends and lets not forget about my life. Along with other things." 'Heero' Duo thought.

"I won let that happen." A voice from behind him stated.

Turning around a look of complete confusion crossed his feature as he looked into dark Prussian eyes.

"That's not going to happen. I wont let it. I refuse to let it." Heero stated firmly as he approached Duo.

"How? How are you going to prevent me from getting killed Heero? I have no fighting skills other than the self-defense moves that I was taught. Yes I have extremely powerful magic but I don't know if I can bring myself to kill someone with it. What are you going to do? Watch out for both of our backs?" Duo asked skeptically.

"I'll figure something out." Pulling Duo towards him, he hugged the boy lovingly. "I wont lose you. Not now, not ever." He pressed.

Duo whimpered softly, but no tears fell. "Heero, I miss them so much."

"Shh…it's ok I'm sure they miss you to Duo." Heero cooed.

Duo leaned back against Heero, seeking comfort in his warmth. A long while passed before either one of them spoke. Tilting his head to get a better view of the man holding him, Duo smiled. "I don't know what to do. I'm so confused. I don't want to fight, but if I don't than the whole world will pay. Or I might loose you and I know I'm being selfish but Dammit Heero I just found you. I don't want o lose you." Smiling sadly, Duo leaned his forehead against Heero's.

"You're not going to lose me. I want die. I love you to much to die or to even think of leaving you." Heero responded calmly. ''Duo looked once more at Heero, insecurity and disbelief crossing his features. "You love me?"

Nodding his head Heero confirmed. "I must admit that when I first met you, you completely managed to confuse me. But yes I do love you."

"When did you figure it this out?" Duo inquired.

"Earlier today, when we were sitting by the river."

"Are you sure it love, and not something physical?" Duo sneered; he'd gotten some of them during his time on the island. Probably another reason why they wanted to get rid of him.

"Yes I'm sure. I'm not trying to get into your pants or anything. I like being with you because you're you." Heero replied softly.

Duo looked at Heero once again, searching for any kind of false in his declaration of love. Finding none Duo nodded hi head. "Me too Heero me too."

Wufei sat at the table as he watched his friend go after the braided boy. He didn't like the idea of them having to save the world on their own but it would be unjust to not try. Shaking his head Wufei turned back to the other occupants in the room.

"Where are they going?" Hilde and Relena demanded in unison.

Wufei smirked. 'Stupid onna's, they never understand anything.'

"Wufei, what is it that you find so amusing?" Dorothy inquired.

"Nothing mam." Wufei replied curtly. Dorothy was one of the only women who received his respect and which he followed orders from. She was a great general and fighter. In his opinion she earned the position of general.

"Really, well how about you share that nothingness with the rest of us? Who are in the dark."

"Hn, are you all really that blind?" Wufei asked. "Surely you have eyes and a brain that lets you interprets situations."

Well obviously we do but it also helps to know the people before hand." This came from Quatre.

"I suppose that would be of assistance." Wufei agreed.

"Are you going to tell us or not?" Hilde exclaimed.

"Well let's see, from what I gather from Duo while traveling with him was that he hates death and killing. Which doesn't surprise me since all Irda's have a gentle nature. So the legend goes. As for Heero, well he know what it's like to kill and I can guaranty that that is not why he left." Wufei stopped there to see how the others would react and to also see if the could figure the rest out. 'Probably not' a voice in the back of his head joked.

Looking from face to face, he examined their expressions. Trowa seemed to comprehend what Wufei was saying and not saying as well. Nodding to him, Wufei looked at Quatre, the boy seemed completely confused. Which was understandable since he hadn't traveled with them. Trowa leaned over to the blond boy and whispered something to him. Understanding replaced the look of confusion on Quatre's face, nodding to him Wufei looked at the three girls in the room.

They were completely baffled as to the meaning of what Wufei meant. Sighing Wufei shook his head, what was going to be an interesting explanation.
