Warnings: Mean Duo but Heero likes it (just like in the old movies…. trust me *grins*)

****Earlier**************

"I trust you haven't been having a problem destroying those supply ships?" Zechs Merquise said as he sipped his wine.

"No, I've had no troubles. Everything is going as you planned."

"I hope the gold is enough of a payment for you?"

"It is. Don't worry. Now when and what is our next ship that needs to be sunk?"

"Good. My friend, Wufei Chang, will be telling you all the important details from now on. And I thank you for your help. The sooner Treize is swinging from a noose the better."

Zechs smiled maliciously and sipped at his wine again. He stood and bowed to Dermail, then left the cabin.

"And once Treize is gone, then Duo will be mine." Dermail smiled. Then stood to tell his crew their orders.

*******Later that day************

"Duo!" Quatre called for what felt like the millionth time. "DUO!"

Duo rounded the corner to find Quatre yelling for him, "I'm here. Why are you hollering for me?"

"Treize wants us to meet him at the hall."

"Okay. Let's go."

They rushed right into the meeting hall. Treize was sitting on the main seat arguing with the other representatives of the small island. One man stood up and Duo growled when he recognized Zechs Merquise.

"What do you plan to do about these pirates that have been sinking our supply ships, Treize?"

"I plan to get rid of them."

"And how will you do that? You have to do something soon, or we aren't going to get the supplies nor the money we need to keep living on this island."

Treize glared angrily at Zechs but smoothly replied, "My dear sir. I have the perfect person for the job."

Treize looked around and finally spotted Duo and Quatre, "Duo, my boy. Just the person I wanted to see. I need you to take out The Rose(1) and go after Dermail and the Black Swan. Can you do that for me?"

"Sure, when do you want me to leave?"

"Right now, hurry up with you."

"Aye Aye."

Duo ran out of the room with Quatre in tow.

Treize smiled smugly at Zechs, "We'll soon see that he is victorious and we won't have any trouble with our supply lines. Now if you excuse me, we shall meet tomorrow when you will hear the good news."

Treize then stood and everyone else stood with him. He then left the small meeting hall to go home.

Zechs smiled evilly, "We shall see Treize."
