---Continuation from the last Chapter---

Heero braced for the impact that he knew was coming. He heard the bullet hit something but not himself. A strange wind blew by his head. He looked up to see Zeion with his hand on Maya's gun. Zeion had diverted the gun's aiming path towards a little to the side of Heero's head. Maya was struggling to get her gun back. Zeion pried her fingers from it and threw the gun out into the hall.
"I thought I was in charge of the prisoners, Maya," Zeion commented. "And you were in control in the lab and we do not interfere with the other's job. I have not ordered anyone to execute him."
"Then tell me who nursed you back to health, who?" Maya screamed. "Me, that's who. And if it weren't for me you would be dead!"
"I have already repaid that debt to you. Now if you do not leave I will have the guards arrest you under violation of the colony's codes," Zeion added.
Maya growled at him and left the room, stomping. Zeion turned and faced Heero. Heero had collapsed to the floor. His legs had given out on his prone form. Zeion removed his helmet and knelt beside Heero. Zeion noticed the bad shape Heero was left in. He pressed the back of his hand against Heero's forehead. It was hot to the touch. Zeion smiled and remembered the mission they had to L3X18999. That was why he came here in the first place. He extended his palm out to Heero after he stood up.
"I see that they have not been treating you well," Zeion said. "Come with me young soldier and I will guide to you to the friends you seek."
Heero weakly grasped Zeion's hand. Zeion helped Heero to his feet. The teenage boy braced himself against Zeion for balance. He looked up at the enemy commander and noticed the unusual resemblance he had. Only one name could come to Heero's dazed mind. The white gloves, the clothes, the hair, and the voice. They all came clear to him. He smiled slightly at the figure supporting him.
"Your name is not Zeion... It's Treize Khushrenada.." Heero stated.
"Congratulations, Heero Yui. I am not Zeion, but in reality Treize," Treize answered.
"Why?" Heero questioned.
"To see that the future falls into the right hands..." Treize replied. "You must promise me something, Heero."
"Huh?" Heero said, looking up.
"I will get you out of here if you promise not to tell the others about me," Treize answered. "We have a mission on L3X18999. The others should be gathering there soon. I will leave you and Zero in their capable hands.
"Promise.." Heero, struggling to keep up with Treize's walking pace.
Slowly, they eventually made it to the docking gate. Treize put on his helmet once more and became Zeion, again. Heero managed somehow to get into a pilot suit. Treize waited for Heero to board Wing Zero before he boarded Tenshi. He got docking clearance for the two of them and they flew off for the colony. Their gundams mere flashes of light as they went further into space.

-Peacecraft Space Shuttle-

Zechs looked out the window as the shuttle slowly reached the colony. He could see vague sparkles coming from the L1 area heading towards it. He could only guess at their origins. The others were playing or amusing themselves in some way except for Relena. She had been looking out the window at her seat the whole time. She did not speak to anyone. Zechs walked over to her and sat down beside her.
"What is on your mind?" Zechs asked.
"Nothing..." she replied.
"Come on. Someone just doesn't sit there and stare for no reason at all," he retorted.
"I was hoping that when we find Heero that he will be okay," she answered.
"I am sure he will be," Zechs replied. "What in the world?"
"Its Wing Zero and that other gundam!" Duo exclaimed. "What are they doing here!"

The two gundams neared the shuttle and stopped to fly along side it. Zechs and Relena rushed to the cockpit. Sally and Wufei were trying to open a link with one of the suits. Finally, Zeion opened his link along with Heero's, but they could only hear the voices and nothing more.
"This is a civilian shuttle so I suggest that you back down now," Sally said.
"I know that you are the Peacecraft crew so don't try to hide it," Zeion answered. "Besides if we were looking to destroy the shuttle we would have done so long ago."
"What have you done to Heero!" Relena exclaimed.
"That is what we have come to do. Once we reach the colony I will hand him over to you," Zeion replied. "And to show I mean no harm to you or him, I will let you speak to him."
"Trust him... he may seem like something else... but he is not.. our enemy.." Heero said, weakly.
"Heero, are you okay?" Relena asked.
"No, that is why I bring him to you. He needs medical attention and..." Zeion answered.
"Fine. We will meet you at the warehouse," Zechs said, clinching his fists.
"I thank you, young warriors of peace and your dove," Zeion replied. "May your hands guide this world to the right path."

The connection broke and the pilots where left in silence. Tenshi turned to Wing Zero. Its large black wings extended outward as he flew over Wing Zero. Tenshi grabbed a hold of Zero's shoulders and flew both suits towards the colony's docking gate. Tenshi flew directly inside the colony, careful not to damage anything. It landed by the warehouse and waited. Meanwhile the Peacecraft shuttle landed and they all got out. Epyon and Nataku were unloaded and taken carefully to the spot. The others riding in the hands of the two gundams. They stopped in front of the warehouse and placed everyone on the ground. All four pilot left their suits. Zeion supported Heero on Tenshi's hand as the mobile suit placed them on the ground. Zechs and Wufei also landed on the ground.
"Heero..." Relena said, worried about Heero.
"I hand him over to you... and his gundam..." Zeion said as Sally took Heero from him. "May they both be some good to you."

Sally took Heero on the shuttle to start to tend to his wounds. Relena followed behind still worried to death over him. Zeion turned to Tenshi and smiled. The other pilots approached him, slowly. Zeion just motioned towards the warehouse. The others glanced at it.
"You have your own mission to complete," Zeion explained. "I will stay in the clutches of the enemy until I can bring an uprising within the organization in your favor. And I also assure you Lady Une and Mariemeia are safe and sound."

With that Tenshi picked up Zeion and placed him in the cockpit. The door closed and the gundam left the colony. Before blasting off the gundam saluted the pilots and then left. The others proceeded inside the warehouse to find what they came to seek. Set before them were Heavyarms, Sandrock, and Deathscythe standing in their custom forms and ready to launch and be used for battle. They each got into their own mobile suit and piloted them outside so they could go with the shuttle they had brought along. After finishing this they boarded the shuttle to find out news on their fellow comrade's condition. They were not allowed in the room where Sally was working. The only people in there were Relena and Sally.

Relena sat beside the padded examination table as Sally tended to Heero. She stroked her hands through his unruly dark brown hair. Her other hand kept a grip on his hand. Occasionally, he squeezed her hand back in response. His gaze rested upon her as she tried to comfort him. She wanted to ask him so much, but reframed from doing so. Relena looked to Sally, concerned.
"Is he going to be okay?" Relena asked.
"Yes. With plenty of rest he should be fine," Sally answered, looking up for a moment.

Sally took about thirty more minutes stitching and cleaning Heero's wounds. When she was done she told Relena that she would let her have some time with him before allowing the others in. Sally closed the door behind herself, gently. Relena laid her head gently upon Heero's chest. She clinched at the remnants of what was once his green tank top. She made sure she was not hurting him. Heero's hand was brought up to hers and clinched hers weakly.
"I'm sorry..." Heero whispered.
"For what? You have nothing to apologize for Heero," Relena replied.
"For breaking my promise... to you..." he said.
"Heero, you haven't broken your promise... You came back to me," she retorted. "I am the one who is sorry for what they did to you."
"They tried... to make me forget... you for another..." he said, weakly. "But..I couldn't..."
"Shh... it will be alright... I won't let anyone hurt you ever again..." Relena said, stroking his hair once more.

Heero smiled slightly in return as his fever declined. He took his free arm and placed it on Relena's back. She smiled back and brought her hand stroking his hair to rest upon his cheek. She carrassed his cheek with her thumb and he closed his eyes in response. Relena smiled never wanting him to leave her again. She looked at him with her head still resting on his chest. She listened to the sounds of his breathing. She brought her hand slowly off of his cheek and began stroking his hair once again. He opened his eyes half way and his heart fluttered. The feelings he had for her were new to him, but somehow he knew what to do in return for her kindness towards himself.
"I will protect you..." Relena said.

Before Heero could reply the door was opened. Reluctantly, Relena sat up and stopped stroking his hair. Her other hand remained on his hand, though. The other pilots gathered in the room, eager to see their comrade after six months. They all took seats except for Trowa and Wufei, who gave up chairs to stand. Zechs sat beside his younger sister. Inside he cringed as he saw where her other hand was in relation to Heero. Duo interrupted the silence.
"Well nice to see you, buddy boy.." Duo said, smiling at Heero. "How long has it been?... Six months!"
"Hn," Heero replied.
"Still the same silent guy, huh?" Duo joked.
"Sally said that you should stay in bed and rest up," Quatre commented. "But it is good to see you."
"Heero, could you please tell us what happened to you?" Trowa asked.
"They.. tried to make me one of them..." Heero answered, not saying anymore.
"Well, we know that is not the whole truth... Now is it?" Duo said, holding one hand to his chin and glaring at Heero. "There's more and we all know it..."
"They plan to attack the Earth within 24 hours so you have more to worry over than myself," Heero replied.
"Heero! Of course we have something else to worry about!! They almost killed you!" Quatre quipped.
"I hate to break our reunion, but we need to prepare to defend the Earth. It was nice to see you again, Heero," Wufei said, leaving.
"Wuffers has a point for once... See ya around, buddy boy," Duo said, walking out as well. Trowa and Quatre soon follow suit. Zechs stays to whisper something in Relena's ear.
"Just don't let him hurt you," Zechs whispered and then left.
