The Mistakes That You Made

Heero Yuy, a tall young man, 17 years of age, walked around the corner to his Economics class.

"Nice of you to join us Mr. Yuy, take a seat," his teacher said annoyed.

`I'm only three minutes late you ass hole,' Heero thought giving his teacher his glare; taking a seat behind the familiar female girl...…woman.

"Now…..." The teacher started saying but Heero stopped listening to him.

`Damn her, why does her hair have to smell so good.' He thought.

Knowing Relena Peacecraft since kindergarten gave him time to love everything about her. Talking occasionally, saying hi in the halls; it always gave him a blushed face after he talked to her; this however was not a long time crush, it only just started a year ago.

"Now since this project is big I'm going to pair you up" Mr. Norse paused "Ms. Brown and Mr. Haskins……." Some time latter, "Ms. Darlian and ummm…… Mr. Yuy." Relena looked over to where Heero sat and met his eyes, she looked away as fast as she could.

`I can't believe it. God is with me!' Heero thought.

"So Heero, I heard that you are partners with the lovely Miss. Relena Darlian, is it true?" The braded man asked his best friend.

"Yes what about it?" Heero said putting his binder in his locker, taking out another black folder that read English.

"Well lucky you, you get one of the most beautiful girls in the school as your partner!"

"Shut up Duo, don't you have science to go to?"

"Yeah, but who cares."

"That's on the other side of the school you should go now." Heero said as he walked away.

"So…….." Duo said shrugging his shoulders with a confused look on his face.

Walking toward his next class *she* had appeared walking around the corner. Walking gracefully with her books in her hand, she glanced and smiled at him. Looking back, he found that she had disappeared around another corner already. He cursed himself that he didn't say hi or at least nod, "damn," he said aloud. Walking in his English class, he sat down right when the bell rang.

Lunchtime came quickly, sitting down next to Duo in their `spot', he pulled out his turkey sandwich and chips.

"I'll trade you this nice homemade cookie for your chips." Duo said. Trading was one of the things they always did. Almost biting into his sandwich, he pulled back his food and tossed the chips to his friend.

"Keep your cookie I don't want it." Heero said. Duo's the type of guy that can eat a lot, but never was feed, only at his household.

"But I feel bad just taking them." Duo said, handing the cookie to the Japanese man.

"No I'm not that hungry anyways. Now let me eat!" Heero said throwing back the cookie, then at last taking a first bite of his sandwich. "Besides were going out for dinner for Grace's birthday."

"Oh yeah that's today, oh well more food!" Duo said taking a bite of his cookie. As they ate in silence, besides the fact that Duo doesn't close his mouth when he eats. Wufei their other pal sat down next to Heero.

"That onna keeps bothering me!" Wufei said unpacking his lunch.

"Maybe if you guys didn't like each other, then she wouldn't bother you but since she's your girlfriend then she would bother you!!! Stupid!" Duo stated. But Wufei only ignored him.

"Hi Heero!" some girls said walking by.

"Hey look your fan club of onnas!" Wufei said looking over at the girls in disgusted.

Shaking his head Heero said, "Sluts!"

"Yep, Yep." Duo agreed taking another chip in his mouth. "So……" Duo said with a mouth full.

"Don't talk with your mouthful, Duo." Wufei demanded.

"Sorry, anyways you ready for our game, Heero?"

"Yes." Heero said finishing his second sandwich molding his trash into a ball; he aimed the trash to the trashcan, making it.

"Hey Heero." A woman's voice said. Heero looked behind him to see Relena.

"Hey," Heero said getting up to talk to her; Brushing off the grass and dirt off his butt.

"I just wanted to talk to you about the project; could we start on it today?" she asked.

"No, sorry I can't my…….my sister has her birthday dinner today and I have to go to it."

"Oh no its ok I understand; can we start tomorrow?" Relena asked, looking into his pools of blue eyes.

"Yes that would be great."

"Ok Umm…….Tomorrow at my house; we can go after school, is that fine because my parents have to meet you first before I can go over to you're house. Yes I know my parents are too over protective……….sorry I was rambling," She said looking down at her hands.

"It's fine I can drive us to your house tomorrow after school if you don't mind saying after for about ten minutes."

"No I don't mind."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Well ok, I have to go but I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!"

"Bye!"

"Dude!" Duo blurted out to his best friend.

"What?!"

"Never mind we better go; we'll see ya Wufei, our game a waits us!"

"Win or you're a bunch of Onna's!"

"Whatever, bye Wufei!" Heero said getting up and picking up his polo bag.

"Bye!" Wufei said getting up and walking away to his next class.
