Chapter 6: Not ready

"What the fuck!" A man, mid-twenties screamed. When he felt this door being kicked down, then he saw one very irate Chinese man, and a few shocked others, "Listen bub, I don't…" This is when said man saw, his wife in tears behind, the enraged Chinese youth. All he could say was "SHIT"

The woman his had been straddling rolled of the bed and fled the room. Steve, the aforementioned man looked up into two onyx eyes glowing with pure hatred, and he knew he was going to die.

~Duo and Wufei's~

'Oh, no he knows I'm looking why can't I look away, his face it's just so, close, so… very… close…' Duo moved a little closer, he felt Heero's breath, 'warm, smells like peppermint, I like peppermint… so close… so very… very… close… ' Their lips were inches, centimeters, millimeters away.

Thud, "Duo, Duo are you here." A voice sounded from the door, "Duo, NOW." But Duo couldn't move, he was stuck, less than a breath away from Heero's lips.

Heero, had to do something, "Um Duo some ones calling you" He said not moving from his spot.

"Yea, it's Hilde, fuck her she'll go away." Duo said in a whisper, before he crushed his lips down on Heero's.

"Duo I'm gonna break down the door, Duo?" She knocked, "Oh, well guess your not home."

Heero felt like he was flying, he recovered from mild shock and kissed Duo back fervently. It was hungry at first like they had been deprived of what they needed to live until that moment, then it was more passionate, tongues battling in a playfully war, finally soft and sweet, and if that stupid need for air hadn't gotten in their way they never would have stopped. Nevertheless the need did arise and they broke for much needed air.

~ Hospital ~

"Mr. Chang, I understand the fact that you felt the need to protect and what was it you said 'serve justice' but really, Mr. Chang you beat the poor fellow to within an inch of his life!"

"He's an adultery, he deserves to be in pain." Wufei smiled, while rubbing Sally's back as she cried relentlessly into his shirt.

"Very well, he said he's not pressing charges, so take Mrs. Kale home if you will the roads should be dry by now." Wufei nodded, and he left with Sally, to find Trowa and Quatre so they could leave.

~ Guest bedroom ~

'What the hell did I just do, he was being so kind and he's just pitting me, I just forced myself on my best friend' Duo felt sick the best kiss of his life was forced and not really wanted, "Oh, god Heero I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I wasn't thinking, I was scared and… and … and." Duo jumped up and walked to the corner of the room.

'He doesn't want me' he felt hurt, "Duo it's ok, really, no big deal, you are just a little tweaked, I understand."

"You do?"

"Yea." 'I understand you more of an ass than any donkey.' Even in his head Heero was too sarcastic for his own good.

"Your not mad, I hate to think what Marty will think."

"It'll be our secret, you weren't thinking, I won't tell Wufei."

'Oh god, I forgot about him, I feel like such a slut' Duo was biting his lip again.

"Stop that," Duo looked up questioningly, "Your biting your lip, now if you feel to odd about it I can leave, or if you can put that silly blunder behind you then you can come over here and get some rest, and I'll stay, whatever you want."

"Stay!" Duo rushed over, "I don't want to ruin our friendship over a 'silly' kiss" Duo said 'I don't think it was silly' he mused. Then he snuggled up against Heero, as more thunder entered the room, even though the rain had stopped.

Heero pulled the covers up, over them and lay down with Duo, 'I may never get to have you but this will do, if it's all I can get, I'm glade for it.' Before long both boys where in a nightmare less sleep.

~Hospital~

"Quatre, I'm getting cold feet, I love you, only you, but I don't think I'm ready, we're 19, and I've only been with one other person, I … well… Quatre darling, I want more experience, I ain't ready." Trowa spouted so fast the word were barely distinguishable. "Now I know what you going…"

"Me too." Quatre stated plainly. "I also, well, need to confess that I had an affair, after you cheated on me." Trowa stared wide-eyed. "You know I love you, I know you love me, but I agree we need to experiment and make sure we'll have no regrets, I love you and I'm prepared to wait until we are both ready," Trowa's eyes softened, "Trowa, we'll always be together, as long as you want me, but I agree we should wait."

Trowa smiled "Then we'll be together forever, little one." He pulled Quatre in for a passionate kiss.

"We've been looking for you guys, lets go the roads are clear and we've been released, we'll take Sally, home with me she can stay in a guest room." Wufei finished just as Trowa and Quatre broke apart.

"…"

"Yea, I think so too, Trowa thinks we should get home for some sleep ASAP"

"You two are incredible, come on lets go." Wufei huffed as he led the way with Sally.
