~Wild Thang - Part 21~

The seven of them traveled while the sun's light let
them. They had to camp once the first of the sun's
rays started to disappear. That night, around the
campfire, they were discussing their options.

"What will you do once this quest of ours is over?"
Duo asked.

"Well, for one, we need to get rid of any threat
towards you from this White Fang occult." Zechs said,
nuzzling Duo's neck.

"Why are you doing that?" Duo asked innocently, tired
of waiting for Zechs to court him.

Zechs immediately stopped, blushing.

"Does it mean you want me?" Duo questioned, brushing a
hand against Zechs' tightening pants.

Shuddering, Zechs glared at the other five, daring
them to comment. "Hai, I want you."

"Then why didn't you say so?" Duo asked, confused as
to why Zechs was being so hesitant.

"I do not wish to take advantage of you." Zechs
replied, pulling Duo flush against his body.

"Well I for one am tired of waiting." Duo announced.
"Even faeries do more than what you are doing!"

Several snickers were heard. Zechs couldn't keep
himself from grinding his hips at the thought of
fulfilling his nightly fantasies.

"That feels really nice. Don't stop." Duo commanded
thrusting back.

Shuddering, Zechs realized that with being so close to
finding Duo's father and formally asking to court Duo
like a true aristocrat would, Zechs pulled away
reluctantly.

"Zechs?" Duo asked, with a hurt and aroused statement
on his face. "Did I do something wrong?"

'Even with that enticing body and sensual movements,
he is still an innocent.' Zechs reminded himself. "We
have only a few miles left before we meet your father.
I wish to formally ask to court you."

Duo glanced, puzzled, to the others.

Heero smirked, "Humor him Duo, he's an aristocrat. It
would insult his morals that he grew up with if he
didn't do this the traditional way."

"Traditional way? There's a traditional way?" Duo
asked.

"Hai. When one finds a suitable life mate, they would
seek permission to court them from their relative,
most of the time it's the father, but in some
instances where the father is not around, the mother
or siblings will do just fine. With Zechs being
raised as an aristocrat and very set in their ways, he
must honor tradition if possible, even though it may
deny pleasure." Wufei explained.

"It reminds me of how I went about it with Quatre."
Treize sighed.

"Treize!" Quatre said, blushing. "I thought we were
to keep our relationships to ourselves on this trip."

"Well, Zechs and Duo aren't being quiet about it. And
if you think about who pairs off with who, you'd know
that Wufei and Trowa would always pair off." Treize
defended himself. "The only one who kept his mouth
and actions away from his relationship is Heero. He's
so tight-lipped!"

"And probably tight-assed!" Trowa snickered.

"Trowa!" Wufei said, glaring at Trowa.

"But my heart belongs to you." Trowa replied quickly.
"As with everything else of me."

"Are you all aristocrats?" Duo asked, curious to know
more of his companions.

"Only Treize and Zechs are true aristocrats. Myself
and Quatre come from wealthy families which often
makes you believe we are aristocrats, but in truth, we
are not. Wufei comes from a highly respected family
and Trowa's from a noble's family." Heero informed
Duo.

"Oh." Duo said, afraid he may not measure up to Zechs'
standards.

As if reading his mind, Zechs smiled down at Duo.
"Fear not Duo, I don't care what you are or how
respected you are. I love you for who you are."

"You love me?" Duo asked, amazed.

"Hai." Zechs replied, smiling tenderly.

Duo beams up at him, "Good! Because I love you too!"

Zechs smiled happily, leaning down and gave Duo a
kiss. Duo surprised Zechs and slipped his tongue
between Zechs' lips. The action made Zechs' body
remind him about certain issues.

Zechs breaked off, panting, "Where did you learn
that?"

"Wufei." Duo replied curtly.

Zechs glared at Wufei along with Trowa.

Wufei meeped, shrinking back from the two, "Duo was
curious as to what a kiss was, so I told him what is
was and other stuff that went along with kissing. I
didn't kiss him, I swear!"

"He speaks true." Duo defended, licking Zechs' neck,
making a certain body part twitch on his beloved.

That night, Zechs slept spooned around Duo
protectively, happy that he don't have to worry about
Duo not loving him back. The next morning, they
continued their trek and found the lake.

"Definitely odd to find a lake in a jungle." Trowa
muttered to himself.

"This is where the water fae live. I'm half water
fae." Duo said proudly.

"But how are we going to survive? Humans weren't
meant to live in water." Quatre pointed out.

A curious head popped out of the water. Swimming
towards the shore, the curious water fae tugged at
Duo's braid, attracting Duo's attention. Duo tried to
speak the language he was taught, unsure if all fae
spoke the same language. Fortunately, the curious fae
replied in the same language and informed Duo that
they will get Elder Maxwell.

Moments later, the fae and an elder returned. Father
and son stared at each other, memorizing features.
The others stood back, watching the reunited family
members.

"Is it possible?" Elder Maxwell murmured. "Son?"

"Father?" Duo asked, hopeful.

Father and son rushed together and embraced. Elder
Maxwell traced Duo's face, reminded of the woman he
loved so long ago and watched prosecuted by her fellow
villagers. He prayed for the son that she bore to
live and find a way back to him. At last, his prayers
have been answered, in the form of Duo.
