Sorry about the first “Chapter” being so short. It’s more like a prologue than a chapter

Captain of The Second Triumph
Captain Aaron Carth stepped onto the bridge of The Second Triumph.
“Sir!”
The bridge crew snapped to attention. Lieutenant Smith, a middle aged man with sleek black hair, stood ready at Comms. Lieutenant Storm, redhaired and green eyes, stood at her post, Weapons. Lieutenant Harris had his arm draped lazily over his chair at Navigations, and Lieutenant James kept his tight smile on his face as he continued his inspection at Systems.
The crews all here
“As you were,” Carth replied.
“Sir,” Smith said, “The Sangheili Shipmaster is on the line.”
Carth sighed, “Bring him up. Let’s get this over with, smiles everyone.”
The image of Shipmaster Garo ‘Mirom snapped onto the view screen.
“Shipmaster,” Carth curtly replied.
“Captain,” came the gruff reply.
Then Garo exploded, “MY SANGHEILI ARE SLINKING AROUND IN YOUR PITS!”
“I understand Shipmaster. However, I was told the Sangheili wanted to be a part of this search.”
“True,” Garo sat in his anti-grav chair, “but whats going to happen if I report to R’Tas ‘Vadum that your ship was hit by an asteroid?”
“It’d be hard to report with half your ship gone,” countered Carth
Garo growled and his image snapped off.
“Sir,” Storm hesitantly questioned.
“Hes bluffing,” Carth reassured them. He remembered the name R’Tas ‘Vadum. The Sangheili Fleetmaster and now co-leader over the Sangheili species. He was definitely not one to cross, “Garo just thinks the Sangheili should sit their asses on a beach with a beer in their claws.”
James chuckled, “I wonder what that’d look like.”
A voice crackled over the Comms, “Hell if I know James, but your mom was wondering the same thing last night.”
The crew laughed at the familiar voice.
“Sargent Forge, What do you got?”
“Sir, things are quiet down here. We got nothing so far. The Fieldmarshalls got nothing too.”
Carth sighed, “do you trust him?”
He isn’t high on the pretty list sir, but we cope.”
“Keep me posted Forge. And remember, the Cole Protocol hasn’t bee repealed”
“Aye sir, Forge out.”
Onboard the Sangheili ship, Holy Sacrament.
“Imprudent, rude, filthy beasts!”
Garo glanced over at his “assistant”. Atleast, that’s what the thing called itself. True, T’suthux ‘Mirom was his nephew, but he did not deserve such an honorable title.
“These humans talk as if the mean something,” T’suthux ranted, “they should-“
“Silence,” Garo growled, “Fleetmaster R’Tas and the Arbiter deem them worthy, and so we shall respect them. Or,” his hand inched toward his blade, “would you like to rant more?”
T’suthux’s mandibles snapped shut.
Garo nodded and stood, “Tell Fieldmarshall Thoro I am coming to the surface.”
“Alone,” Garo emphasized as he turned to his nephew who quickly shrank away.
“As you command, Shipmaster,” replied the Sangheili at the Comms station.
