Hamtaro's Dance party Part II (The lonely two)

Hamtaro: Last time we all decided to hold our own dance at the clubhouse and things were well under way. The thing is ever since our adventure in Paris Boss and Bijou haven't really been themselves lately. I hope they cheer up soon.

Later that night after T.W left for home Boss was calmer but still despondant. He went over to the piano and started to play.

(Singing)

Boss: What'll I do? If you *hums* away, and I am blue. What'll I do? What'll I do, when I am wondering-

(We look at a picture of Bijou on the wall)

Who is kissing you, what'll I do?

What'll I do, with just a photograpgh, to tell my troubles to? When I'm alone, with only dreams of you. That won't come true, what'll I do?

He then got up from the piano and the music continued in the background-

(Singing)

Boss: What'll I do *starts swaying* with just-a photograpgh, to tell my troubles to?

(lays on the floor)

It was silent and right then and there he closed his eyes and went to sleep, Snoozer had been asleep but couldn't help hearing the whole things and applauded softly,

(Mumbling)

Snoozer: Bravo, bravo. Encore *yawns* zu, zu, zu.

The next day T.W goes to Bijou's house to explain what had happened.

Bijou: So he feels that bad? I didn't realize.

T.W: I'm really getting worried Bijou, I've never seen him this way. I really don't know what to do, I think his heart's truly broken.

Bijou: I wish I had said nothing.

T.W: You only said the truth. It might've hurt but it was bound to come out sooner or later. I remember when I used to be that way when I was still hung up on Cocolette. Even now I just don't see why I didn't matter. I think we should do something extra special for him.

Bijou: But what I wonder?

They thought for awhile and then it hit them.

Both: Hey, I know!

T.W: You go ahead.

Bijou: Well maybe a pitiular song will cheer him up.

T.W: And I think I know just the one, I'll see ya later.

As he left home to find the song later on in a windy field Boss convinced himself to get outside. He wore the dressy black tux Hakeru had made and his ears wiggled in the wind.

(Thinking)

Boss: Well I'm up, now what should I do?

Soon it was sundown and the dance had started, everyone was here and enjoying themselves greatly, all except for Boss who stood by the wall and feel like joining in.

That is until-

Hamtaro: And now for our first live performance if the evening is our very own T.W-

Everyone appaulded as he stepped on the podium they had made.

T.W: Thank you, this first song is deticated to someone very special who's been mighty low, you know who you are.

Then "Moon fighter" starts to play and T.W takes the wireless microphone from the stand and starts to dance to beat. Boss knew that he was who T.W was talking abooout and look carefully as he sung.

(Singing)

T.W:-

By the light of a blue moon, I try to keep my cool in this scenario. I just keep on fighting things, This is just my way of handling things.

I meet assistance, and now is it time to find my beliefs?

Truth? Hah! I'm grasping at my last straws tonight!

* Light up moon! Tear the shadows apart!

I don't need to put on any fake smiles.

Everyone thought T.W was better ay performing were dancing greatly to the beat. Boss however still wouldn't dance and felt blue so T.W took his emotion up a notch.

From the distant side of the sky,

During the instermental jumped off the podium and grabbed Boss and brought up on the podium with him.

Boss: T what are you doing?

T.W: You've been gloomy for far too long, you're going to sing the last verse with me.

Just then-

(Singing)

T.W: Light up moon! Come down from the heavens!

He nudged Boss and got a verse out of him.

(Singing)

Boss: Answer only one person, and be restricted.

Then they sung it together-

(Singing)

Both: Come on, Light up moon! Pierce through the sky!

The song ends promptly and they take a bow, everyone cheered as Boss stepped down from the podium.

T.W: Thank you, thank you. This next song is about perserverence and never giving up.

Digital survivor played next and started to step in time with the beat.

(Singing)

T.W:-

He stepped around a bit as everyone was really in the spirit now, Boss included. As the song ends T.W does a pose ans shouts-

T.W: Guwaohh!

Everyone applauds as T.W takes a bow.

T.W: Thank you, now for my next song Bijou has agreed to accompany me.

She makes her way to the podium and "Himawari; Sunflower" plays.

(Singing)

T.W: So, at that time, they swayed

Like the sun, sunflowers

If the both of us reached out our hands

Then we can see forever

(Singing)

Bijou: So, at that time, it passed by

It went across the prairie, the breeze

If we chased with our hands joined

Then we can go anywhere

(Singing)

T.W: "The white clouds in the sky, where do they flow to?"

We would stare at them forever

Then they sing together-

Bijou: So, at that time, they shined

T.W: "Listen, we too, will become adults someday?"

Surely so, because we pretend that we don't understand

Then they sung together again-

I remember the things about you even now

The song ends on a soft note and everyone claps and they take a bow, they leave the podium and some no lyric music plays.

Soon everything calmed down a bit and everyone enjoyed the platter T.W made with gumption, there was a card game being played, games of chance and of course lots of dancing. Soon enough as the party winded down it was time for the first slow song.

"Double Moonlight Romance" starts to play and everyone picks there partners.

T.W: Hakeru will you dance with me?

Hakeru: Of course.

They hold hands and sway, soon everyone was paired except for three, just then someone with a familiar voice comes up to Boss.

Voice: Would you like to dance with me?

Boss had been staring at the floor and didn't notice who it was.

Boss: I thought you didn't like me that way.

He looked up to see it wasn't Bijou but-

Voice: Well if we dance together I'll finally know for sure.

Boss: Annette! What are you doing here?

That's when Bijou came over-

Bijou: In my last letter to Henrietta I told her about our party, then I got a wire late last night that Annette wanted to attend.

Annette: I had some vacation time coming and Henrietta agreed to look after Gari for awhile. Will you dance with me?

Boss was still surprised and unsure but he took her by the hand and they start to dance as Bijou gives them some room. As they danced they started to sing to each other

(Singing)

Boss:

At last I've met you, maiden

The maiden who has the beautiful dream

Protected by the light of the moon

The princess soldier...

I was searching for you

I had believed that I would meet you

but until we met my slight anxiety

wreathed my wings like mist

(Singing)

Annette:

"Maiden?" Do you mean me?

Is it true? I'm too happy yet afraid

I've never seen anyone like you before, with beautiful

eyes, but this feels so familiar, why?

They spin a bit and sing together-

(Singing)

Boss & Annette: Is this a couple's fate? It is starting now

It seems Boss's recovery is going fine, while over on the other side of the dance floor.

(At the same time)

Bijou: Uh Hamtaro, will you dance with me? Sure I will!

Hamtaro: Bijou will, will you dance with me? Sure I will!

The grasp the other's hand start to slowly rock-

(Singing)

Bijou: When bathed in moonlight,

I remember a love from before we were born-

(Singing)

Hamtaro: An endlessly tender feeling appears,

fills me only when I think of you, why?

Then they sing together-

Hamtaro and Bijou: Is this a couple's fate? It is starting again.

On the other side-

Boss and Annette: Moonlight romance-

The song ends with the lights dimmed and a little light show sprays all around.

Then "WARUTSU ni Koi wo Nosete; Love on a Waltz" plays and Boss steps it up a bit.

(Singing)

Boss:-

Within the whirlpool of the dance

What my heart decided then

I want to tell you tonight

Annette:-

It makes my ears hot

When your voice is that way

My body begins sway

I can no longer dance alone

Both:-

Ah, the two of us have the same feeling

Carrying our love on a waltz

Let's dance, let's dance… until morning

Everyone was dancing with that special someone all except for 3 we forgot. Just then another familiar face appears in front of them.

Stan: Sondra?

Sondra: Well I see you haven't forgotten me *yanks him up* because I came all this way for a dance.

They start to rock and she dips him and says-

Stan: See you guys later.

With that they go further into the dance floor.

(Singing)

Sondra:-

Dreaming, I longed for you

Now that you are here

My longing will be fulfilled

If keep praying, it will be

Sondra and Stan: Ah, the two of us will always be together

Carrying our love on a waltz

Let's dance, let's dance until morning

The song ends with mostly everyone close and beautifully, soon after everyone went home and Boss had went to T.W's café for a late cup of coffee.

(Pours boiling water in s cup of freshly roasted coffee)

T.W: Well the dance turned out to be a great success, wouldn't you say?

Boss: I suppose, ran a little long for my liking.

Just then Annette entered the café looking around for the feel of it.

T.W: Good evening Annette, what can I get you?

Annette: I'll have a cup of coffee and a slice of coffee cake.

T.W: Sure, pull up a chair I'll be right with you.

As he prepares everything she sits at the same table as Boss and they got to talking.

Boss: You sure surprised me, what made you come here all of a sudden?

Annette: Well in your last letter you wanted to go out for coffee so here I am. Sondra heard about the party and wanted to come along. I thought I should cut back my work some.

T.W then came though and set out some coffee with milk and a large coffee cake and a caapichinno.

T.W: There you are, I figure you should have something special the first time here, on the house.

Annette: Thank you.

He then casually goes over to Boss and whispers-

T.W: I suggest you make the best of it.

He then heads back into the store room and dims the lights.

Annette: Like I was saying, with Gari growing up I'd thought I'd get back in the romantic scene. Ever since my husband's death I've realized I wasn't the widow type, and I know Gari needs a father around but it's very hard to find someone between working full time and a single mom there's hardly time to browse around.

Boss: I can only imagine.

(Sips)

Annette: But it's gotten easier, he's such a caring and gentle boy, I only hope he'll get a father who'll give him the love and attention he needs.

Boss: I hope so too, he deserves it.

Annette: Thank you.

Just then T.W came back in and placed a candlelabra and lit the three candles on it and took out his shop remote and clicked on the CD player and "Usagi Love Magic" starts to play.

T.W: Well that should keep things netural.

He quickly went back to the storeroom and peeked through.

Annette: Oh how interesting.

Boss: What is?

Annette: This song was my husbands favorite, he said it made him fall in love with me on our first date.

Boss: I think I remember hearing this song before. I think I remember how it goes.

And so it began-

(Singing)

Annette: itsumo ii ko de itai no ni, kono omoi ai ni oitsuka nai. Kyou wa dore kurai, aeru no. sore bakari kangae deshimau-

They laugh a bit and sip there drinks, T.W is peeking out through the storeroom door hoping this will cheer up his friend.

T.W: Good luck.

Boss:Uaitai-

Annette: To omou.

Boss: Kimochi ga-

Both: Himitsu wo mata tsumugi awaseru kara-

Deai wo unmei ni kaeru

(At the same time)

Boss: Your Love is Forever, Your Love is Forever.

Annette: My Love is Forever, My Love is Forever.

The song ended on a happy note and much time later half the cake was eaten and long finished there drinks and had quite a great talk.

Annette: Well I better go. Hakeru said I could stay with her. It was great talking with you.

She sat up from her chair and was about to leave when-

Boss: Wait, *gets up* I'll walk you there.

Annette: That's alright, you don't have to.

Boss: Well I want to, follow me.

As they leave T.W comes out and clears the dishes away.

T.W: Well I've done all I can, it's all up to him now.

He put all the dishes in the vat and blew out the candles. As he went into the kitchen he turns around and says-

T.W: Good luck dad *went to the kitchen.*

Soon they reached Hakeru's home and climbed up the ladder to the window which Hakeru left opened a crack.

Annette: Well I better turn in. I have to go home tomorrow.

Boss: That soon huh?

Annette: Yeah, I don't want to worry Gari. But first-

She leans in and gives him a kiss cheek.

Annette: Thanks for a lovely evening.

She was about to go inside but for some reason came back and held him tight, before either could what was coming next they kissed each other again this time on the lips for quite some time.

Through it all the full moon shines overhead and a string of cherry blossoms flew along the wind and we fade to black.
