Chappy 5: Into The Tree And Down Again


The next morning, Hamtaro awoke by the sun's beam of light. He stretched and yawned, then shake his fur. He groomed himself and ate
Veggie-O's for breakfast and exercise by running in the wheel. Yup, he was ready to go! The bird chirped happily as Hamtaro ran trough
the pipe and down on the dog's head. "Hey, Brandy! What'cha doin'?" Hamtaro questions slightly, but to Brandy's answer was a tired yawn.
Hamtaro sighed sadly and ran to the park.

Hamtaro was half-way there when suddenly he was bumped by another hamster. "Oh my, Hamtaro! Are you alright?" Hamtaro opens his
eyes and gazes at his love, Bijou. Hamtaro stood up and gave her a smile, giving her a signal that he's alright. Bijou nodded and grabs his
paw, and they both walked to the Clubhouse. By the time they got there, no one was there! The Clubhouse look like to them a wasteland,
a dead silent slashed trough the life-less atmosphere. Hamtaro and Bijou looked at each other and blinked. They walked outside and looked
everywhere, but there wasen't even the slightest thing about the Ham-Hams. It was like they were dead or something, and they're souls where
sent away from this planet. "Oh my! Thiz eez not good! What should we do, Hamtaro?" Bijou glances at Hamtaro, who's very scared. Hamtaro
just gulped and sighs. "Who knows. Maybe they went on a trip and forgot about us..." Hamtaro sighed sadly, and so did Bijou. Silence.
Bijou suddenly have an idea! "You know, Hamtaro, we can go on a picnic while everybody comes back! What do you say?" Bijou declares,
and Hamtaro nodded happily, "That's a great idea, Bijou! Good thinking!" and with that, Hamtaro congratulated Bijou with a small kiss on her
cheek. Bijou blushes lightly, and grabs Hamtaro by the paw and pulled him to the park.

Hamtaro and Bijou finally reached the park, and went up on a flowered tree and sat there, enjoying the wonderful view from up there. Bijou
sighed happilly as she fixes her pink ribbons, which grasps Hamtaro's attention. "Oh! I see that you're still wearing them... hey, what happend
to the necklace? You know, the one Boss gave you?" Hamtaro blinks confusingly, but Bijou just giggled. "Silly boy! Don't you know what this
means?" Bijou said lovingly to him, but Hamtaro just let out a kawaii, "Heke?" Bijou pressed her own lips to Hamtaro's. Hamtaro's eyes widen
slightly, but got used to it and kissed back. That's when they heard some bushes sway and some heavy sobbing. Hamtaro and Bijou let go of
each other and glances at the twitching bushes. It wasn't long before Boss began to apear from the bushes, with an angry scrowl on his face.
"B-Boss?" Hamtaro stared in shock; he knew that Boss must of been watching them! Boss, without any warning, ran up to the tree and bashes
Hamtaro by the skull, shedding some blood over his forehead. Bijou screamed in horror at the sight of Hamtaro getting hurt, so she decided to
stop Boss once and for all! Boss, like a bull, was getting ready for another bash round. He growled like a bear and ran to the injured Hamtaro.
Boss was half-way there until Bijou stepped in Boss's way and got bashed instead of Hamtaro! Boss's eyes shrink and widen all at once, as
Hamtaro screamed Bijou's name out loud. Bijou fell and fell until... BOOM! She landed on the rough floor, blacking out. Hamtaro's tears began
to pour down everywhere as he ran to his precious Bijou, patting her cheek in order for her to wake up. Nothinh happend. Suddenly, a pang of
fear grew in Hamtaro's stomach; what if Bijou... had... died? No! Hamtaro carried Bijou and swing her on his back, and ran as fast as he could
possibly can. Meanwhile, Boss was too shock to do anything. 'What have I've done? Have I really killed Bijou!?' Boss's heart began to race,
panicking. Suddenly, tears began to well up in his eyes and ran away, without looking back.
