Something for the readers: I don't like to be rushed on things, so i wrote a fraction of the previous chapter as my way of saying, "Dont rush me, gad dammit!" I rush no one, so no one rush me. And now back to the rest of this chap.

Clink.

"What?!"

Boss realized that he had hit a rock. Now he was confused, If that's not Hamtaro, then where is he?

Boss' question was soon answered. "Why?" the response was parched, but it was a response, nonetheless.

"Hamtaro!" Boss yelled.

When Boss turned around, he saw Hamtaro right behind him. "Out, now." he said and pointed to the window.

"Look, I-I'm sorry about what I did, but can you blame me for acting like that?"

Hamtaro said nothing to Boss, he just kept on pointing. Boss sighed and exited Hamtaro's cage. "I hope you can, if you still don't hate me, forgive me." he said.

"Leave." Hamtaro said and kept on pointing.

Boss didn't argue, he just left. Hamtaro wasn't sure if he could forgive him now. Meanwhile, Bijou was with the rest of the hams. "Bijou, babe, get any luck with Jingle?" Stan asked.

"Huh?" asked Bijou.

"Dexter told Boss that you went to find Jingle."

"It was an alabi, you dolt." said Dexter.

".....O-kay. Maxwell, I need to talk to you." Bijou's tone was now worried.

"What's wrong?" asked Maxwell.

"Eet's Hamtaro, not a peep out of heem yet."

"Give it some time Bijou, he'll heal up."

"I need to find a cure for Hamtaro before Laura finds out he can't speak."

"Oh dear, well I don't have my book about modern medicine and cures with me, so I'll get back to you on it."

"Hurry Maxwell, I don't want Laura to freak out."

"Geez, calm down Bijou. I have to look it up first, then make a cure for him, and give it to him, which takes some time."

Bijou just stared into Maxwell's eyes, as if ready to cry. Though Sandy was his world, Maxwell was a sucker for Bijou's glaring charm. "Oh, okay, okay, I'll go back to the store and look for a cure."

"You're a real life savior."

"That's 'life saver' Bijou, I'm nothing like what you called me."

"I know, but thanks."

And Bijou went back to Hamtaro. She was hoping that he was still asleep, and didn't have to worry about being gone. "Sorry Sandy, but I gotta do some research." Maxwell said.

"It's okay." said Sandy. "You'd totally do that for me, right."

"Of course I would, I love you." and off Maxwell went.

Sandy's orange face turned red, Ooh, just let me have a moment alone with you, Maxwell... she thought.

Bijou was on the way home and this time, ran into Boss. "Oh, Boss, how's ze day been for vous?" she asked.

"Better now." Boss answered. "Bijou, I need a moment of your time, if I may?"

"But of course."

In his cage, Hamtaro stood to attention. I've got a really bad vibe. he thought. I better go find Bijou and fast.
