Chapter 1: the tournament begins, the combatants chosen

Blade just got a package to participate in the tournament, inside was a note and a locator disk, leading to the battle site and a disk reader for the locator disk

Blade-I wonder what this is for

Boss-it says it's to lead to the battle site

Blade-let's see, it says we put the disk into the reader and it'll tell us where the tournament is being held

Boss-I still say I should enter

Blade-we'll see

Hamtaro arrives

Hamtaro-hamha everyone

Blade-hey hamtaro

Hamtaro-what's that

Blade-it's a disk reader

Hamtaro-heke

Boss-it's for some tournament blade and I are going to

Blade-I didn't say you were coming

Boss-how about we battle, if I win I get to enter, if you win….

Hamtaro-I get to enter

Blade and boss-what?!

Hamtaro-this tournament sounds like fun

Blade-but this is a battle tournament, a lot of fighting and people getting hurt

Boss-yeah right

Blade-it could happen

Boss-ok then, let's battle

Blade-fine by me, but I won't lose

Boss and blade are now outside the clubhouse, boss with his shovel and blade with his broadsword

Boss-get ready

Blade-always ready

Boss and blade-GOOOOOOOO!!!

Boss attacks first, but blade hits him and knock him to a tree

Boss-ow

Blade-if that was in the tournament, you would be humiliated

Hamtaro-yay, I finally get to enter

Blade-I have to get one more member

Hamtaro-who

Blade-(he should be strong enough) I choose Isaru

Boss-WHAT?!

Hamtaro-why him

Blade-he could be strong, I've seen hamsters win tournaments with nunchakus

Boss-why not Ziggy

Blade-he's good, but what if I'm up against him again
