Chapter 2
"Come on Hermoine," said Ron.
They were in the library, studying. Well, Hermione was.
"You can study in the common room," said Harry.
"Yeah, can you leave?" asked Ron.
"Fine!" said Hermione, "but I had to check out these books first." She picked up her books and took them to the checkout counter.
" Do you really need these books," asked Harry.
"Yes," said Hermione.
"Like Hogwarts, A History?" asked Ron.
"You pratically memorized it," said Harry.
"But I wanted to read it again," said Hermione.
"Hermione, you're taking too long," said Harry.
"Ok, wait," said Hermione annoyed.
"See, you rush me , when the common room is loud and the library not," said Hermione.
The common room was full of loud people talking and fooling around.
"Forget it. I'm leaving,"said Hermione gathering her books.
"Bet you anything she went to the library," said Ron.
"She left one of her books here," said Ginny.
"Look in the library," said Ron in a comfy chair by the fireplace.
"Are you coming?" asked Ginny.
"Um... no!" said Ron.
Ginny left the common room to find Hermione.She came back at ten.
"I can't find her," said Ginny.
"We'll help, but I need the cloak. The perfects are probably on patrol," said Harry.
They couldn't find her until they bumped into her.
"Ouch," said Hermione and her books were scattered on the floor.
"Hermione," said someone. That someone was Cho Chang.
"I was helping Cho. She was feeling sad," said Hermione.
"Oh," said Harry.
"My wand," said Cho, searching for it in her pockets.
"I must have left in the bathroom," said Cho.
"Hermione, you left this book in the common room," said Ginny.
Hermione took the book and looked it.
"The book is empty," said Hermione.
"You don't think it's Riddle?" asked Ron.
"No. It's gone," said Harry.
"Then what is it?" asked Ginny.
"Dunno," said Harry.
"Look through it," said Harry.
"Guys, I found my wand," said Cho in the hallway.
"The portal between worlds," said Ginny.
"What?" said Ron.
"It is the title of the book," said Cho, pointing to the cover.
"Oh," said Hermione.
Suddenly a strong gust of wind appeared.
"Close the book, Hermione," said Harry.
"I'm trying," said Hermione, but the wind was too powerful. They were forced in the book.
